Hello! I think there are a few of us knocking around the due date boards, so I thought I'd make us a cozy spot of our own.
I'm expecting number three at the end of September, so early days yet. It was all a bit spur of the moment, and I'm cacking myself to be honest. I keep losing it with the kids I already have so not quite sure how I'll cope with three!!

So-
DustyDoorframes, DS5 And DD2, EDD 29 September

IVEgottheDECAF , DS11, DS9, DD5 & DS2, EDD 30/8/19

April2020mom · 03/02/2019 14:24

I’m currently trying to conceive. We want a November or December baby. Anyone else expecting a baby next winter?

Figuringitout · 03/02/2019 18:27

I’m also (hopefully) having a spur of the moment no.3, due Oct 1st. I’m also crapping it a bit now about the impact on the other two DC1 7 DC2 3 and also how I will cope. I’ve just started to really feel pregnant (queasy and tired) and feeling a bit overwhelmed about how I will cope with working/kids and being pregnant. I do feel incredibly lucky and also excited, but like it’s going to be hard.

IVEgottheDECAF · 03/02/2019 19:27

I am currently struggling with work / kids / exhaustion. Its a killer. Im on my arse most days. Hopefully all will improve past 12 weeks but seem to remember this doesnt happen with me !

Currently 10+2

DustyDoorframes · 03/02/2019 21:07

I feel the same @Figuringitout! I know we will manage somehow, but it's going to be a long road!

@IVEgottheDECAF you are a trooper! DP took the kids out all day yesterday, and I had a nap today and I'm still ready for bed now... Do your kids know yet?

@April2020mom I think the winter babies are still on the conception boards, fingers crossed you get yours! How many DC do you have so far?

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 03/02/2019 22:02

They do not! Its all hush hush til we have seen all looks ok on scan!

DustyDoorframes · 04/02/2019 08:29

Yes me too decaf! Although we didn't do the downs testing the last two times, and I think we will this time. Also my trust gives the harmony test free if your odds are shorter that 1:1000- which with my age they will be! So that's 2 weeks to wait for the NT test results, then two more to wait for the Harmony test. So does that mean waiting til 16 weeks to tell the kids???? I'll be showing by then, and I don't want someone to give the game away to them before we've told them.

Dusty i didnt have the screening for dc1,2 and 3. I did for dc4 and will again this time.

DustyDoorframes · 04/02/2019 21:02

That's interesting decaf, did you wait for the results before telling the kids?

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 04/02/2019 21:04

Didnt wait for the results on paper no. Knew the nuchal measurement was good and given i was only 27 that seemed good enough to me.

Not sure this time though

DustyDoorframes · 05/02/2019 17:53

Yes, it all seems more complicated with more little people to think of!
Just realised I've got the primary school run for 13 years. decaf yours doesn't bear thinking about! hey ho, at least all that trudging back and forth will keep us fit (ours is straight up a steep hill)...

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 05/02/2019 18:46

Also up a steep hill.

Eldest ds is year 6 so 7 years down......

This baby will start school in 2023 i think, so leave in 2030?

7+4+7= 18 years 😑

IVEgottheDECAF · 05/02/2019 18:47

Also if i went late with this baby (due end august) that could add another year Shock

Bigonesmallone3 · 05/02/2019 18:49

Hello..
My third baby is due 22nd of June..
Had my 20 week scan today.. resisted finding out the sex 💪🏻
I have DS9 and DD1 (two in a couple weeks)

DustyDoorframes · 05/02/2019 19:15

Aaaa decaf that's a lot of school run! Surely by the end our younger ones will be able to manage it by themselves, having trudged up and down every day since before they were born???

Welcome @Bigonesmallone3 ! Congrats re your scan- and re your gender resolve!

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 05/02/2019 19:18

Currently pregnant with number 3 I'm 24+4 due 24 may, I'm shattered and wondering g if this was a good idea !! I have a boy age 6 and girl age 4

Easterbuns1 · 06/02/2019 17:14

Hello! I've came over from the September thread, dc3 due then all going well and already have ds9 and dd8.

DustyDoorframes · 06/02/2019 17:20

Welcome @Lovewinemorethanhusband ! Waves at @Easterbuns1 !
I'm really swinging between total delight and total panic re how on earth we will cope- then guilt that I'm wishing this baby away. Especially as I'm only 6 weeks, and 38 years old, so things are still fragile!
DP had such a grin on his face when we found out, but has been totally stressed since. Eeep!!

OP posts:
Easterbuns1 · 06/02/2019 20:20

I'm a firm believer things always work out in the end. I was stressing about one of the older ones having to share but then I war he'd call the midwife and was reminded families used to have a dozen kids in one room and managed ok!

Easterbuns1 · 06/02/2019 20:20

*watched even

DustyDoorframes · 06/02/2019 21:02

Yes! You are right of course! My dad was one of three, and grew up in a house similar but a bit smaller than ours- and they had two separate grandparents living with them for years too! In truth I'm super excited, as long as a squish my "sensible" head down a bit. There's not going to be much peace round ours for a few years more, but that's ok!

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 09/02/2019 08:09

Well i had my scan and my due date moved to September! So thats 19 years of school run.

In a way i know a Sept baby is slightly better in the Aug baby in terms of school readiness etc but cant help feel disappinted ive basically gone backwards!

Awaiting another scan date for 2/3 weeks to do nuchal testing

twins2019 · 09/02/2019 08:23

I'm 27+6 with identical twin boys! DC now 3&4 Confused - we said just one more and someone clearly had a chuckle.

We are a mixture of shocked, terrified and delighted. I have 2 x DDs - 8&10. Defo feels like we are starting all over again. My girls are v excited though and will I am sure be very helpful / involved.

8 weeks and a day until I'm either induced or section - will depend on position of twin 1.

IVEgottheDECAF · 09/02/2019 08:27

Was also told yesterday im being consultant led due to risks of being dc5. Risks of pph, of baby being in a funny position etc.

EverythingNow · 09/02/2019 08:34

Hi everyone,

I'm 15wks with DC4, I have DD18, DD9 and DD7, I've been on school run since 2005! Let's not think about that!
