Hello! I think there are a few of us knocking around the due date boards, so I thought I'd make us a cozy spot of our own.
I'm expecting number three at the end of September, so early days yet. It was all a bit spur of the moment, and I'm cacking myself to be honest. I keep losing it with the kids I already have so not quite sure how I'll cope with three!!

So-
DustyDoorframes, DS5 And DD2, EDD 29 September

Everything now you win!

DustyDoorframes · 09/02/2019 09:53

twins how exciting!!! And terrifying! I'm only 6+6 with number three- feeling sicker and bigger than the last two so holding my breath that come the scan there isn't a number four hiding in there too... do twins run in your family? Part of me thinks ooooh twins would be even more babies yay! So I'm a teeny bit envious- I'm sure you'll be brilliant!

Argh decaf going backwards is v frustrating. But yay to September!

And everything you definitely win the school run- I hope they give YOU a certificate of attendance at the end of all that! The mum who runs the pta at my school is s long long timer but she leaves this year- I think school is going to collapse without her.

Hey everyone, I'm 26+2 with DC3. We have two DS and expecting a DD. We've had the harmony test with all three for peace of mind. I had a miscarriage before this pregnancy, so I've been a lot more anxious this time around. It's only recently that I've spoken as if she will be here, before now I didn't want to get my hopes up.

I definitely go from excited to terrified. Juggling three feels like a massive challenge. I just think of the future family we're building and hope that keeps me going on tough days. I won't lie, I'm loving the shopping! Finally some florals in my life Grin

DustyDoorframes · 10/02/2019 09:18

Welcome tipple!
I've one of each, so not sure what sex I'm hoping for (I'm only 7 weeks today, so still holding my breath a bit lot). Feeling a bit guilty for "middle childing" my youngest (my DD) so maybe it would be best for her if this one's a boy, so she gets to be the only girl. But if it's a girl it will make room sharing easier- my DS is nearly 6, and my DD will be 3 by the time this one turns up. They share at the mo, and we are in a 3 bed. A 16 year old sharing with an 10 year old could get awkward down the line!

@DustyDoorframes I'm the same, baby will have to go in with one of the older ones regardless but it's either 11 and 1 or 9 and 1! The older two don't know I'm expecting yet but they ask regularly for a baby, specifically a baby sister. I know dp would like a boy though as it's his first but as I've one of each I really have zero preference.

DustyDoorframes · 10/02/2019 11:16

I'm tickled they've "ordered" a sister! They'll be chuffed to bits!

IVEgottheDECAF · 10/02/2019 11:21

We have 3 boys and 1 girl. All have own rooms at the moment. Youngest two are dd (6 by baby time) and ds (almost 3 at baby time), this baby will need to room share at some point and would therefore be 'easier' if another boy. But if a girl i could maybe make my dd tidy her room .....

DustyDoorframes · 10/02/2019 11:56

decaf I guess if it's a girl then they ALL are eligible for sharing- two years each or so! I'm actually wondering whether to have a dorm room and a play room while they are all small, they seem to really like sharing.

OP posts:
EverythingNow · 10/02/2019 12:10

I have three girls. The 18yo has her own room, my 9 and 7 year old share through choice. There's 17m between them and more often than they snuggle into the same single bed rather than sleep alone, they've always slept together.

So there is a spare room for this one once it moves out of our room. Hopefully!

EverythingNow · 10/02/2019 12:11

@dustydoorframes mine don't use their room except for sleeping so a playroom a great plan!

DustyDoorframes · 10/02/2019 12:21

everything that's so sweet, your snuggly girls!

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 10/02/2019 13:49

I have two boys 16m apart, they would never snuggle in bed together lol

DustyDoorframes · 11/02/2019 10:54

Urgh, I am feeling rough. I felt much rougher with my second (Dd) than my first (DS), which I put down to the old wife's tale that girls make you sicker, and that it's all just harder when you've already got someone to run around after.
I'm sure I feel worse this time- but I guess I'm more knackered with two to run after. Or do you just get sicker each time?? (I hasten to add, I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't actually chuck up much, so I am aware of how lucky I am!!!)

EverythingNow · 11/02/2019 16:39

For me it was an old wives tale, I never had morning sickness or really any first trimester symptoms with my 3 girls. This one I have felt much sicker and thrown up a few times, which I've put down to just being older and tireder.

I also had horrid heartburn with all three and they were all bald!

DustyDoorframes · 12/02/2019 19:06

Urgh, maybe I just feel rougher because every single time I sit or lie down someone climbs on me...

OP posts:
IVEgottheDECAF · 13/02/2019 13:03

I have at times felt really 'touched out' by the small dc climbing on me dusty

I am more tired than i have ever been in my life, i have requested a drop in hours at work

Yesterdays school run was AWFUL and really made me think, fuck, imagine that with a baby in tow Shock

DustyDoorframes · 13/02/2019 14:08

The first trimester is just horrid horrid horrid! And it will be easier with the baby here, it will it will!! Or maybe easier once that babe is a bit bigger. Or something...

This morning I was feeling seasick in bed, and both kids were climbing all over me and I just thought "there's three of them GETTING AT ME"

OP posts:
LittleTipple · 14/02/2019 16:01

First trimester was hell this time around. I hated every second and don't know how I got through with two DCs. However, Mother Nature is very clever because now it's a distant memory and I'm like 'oh it can't have been that bad!'

I definitely feel touched out and can't imagine what it will be like with three Confused

Easterbuns1 · 16/02/2019 08:41

I seem to be feeling much better with the nausea this week! Had an early scan on Wednesday and they put me forward a couple of days too so that's cheered me up too. Just counting down the days to 1st March for dating scan now.

IVEgottheDECAF · 16/02/2019 09:33

My dating scan is the 4th

Think i am roughly due 11/9

DustyDoorframes · 16/02/2019 10:08

Oooh that's good easter! I'm still green about the gills, just on my third round of toast this morning...
My dating scan is on the 18th March, so a bit behind you two.

OP posts:
Bigonesmallone3 · 16/02/2019 11:35

My first trimester was THE worst this time around and the sickness didn't stop til 17 weeks 😱
22 now and feeling much better!

DustyDoorframes · 19/02/2019 12:48

Oh god half term is going to finish me off... I just want to lie very very still so the nausea goes away. Not an option

OP posts:
Easterbuns1 · 20/02/2019 09:17

@DustyDoorframes are yours off all week? We just had Fri / mon / tue / wed off last week and the weather was good so it wasn't too painful!

Got mw for bloods tomorrow, so will likely start stressing about that and the nuchal measurement at scan next week. Been relatively chilled this week up until now!

DustyDoorframes · 20/02/2019 09:35

Yes, but I'm working the rest of the week, and DP is taking them up to his mum's- so actually it was only Monday and Tuesday. I survived!
Yay for scan next week! Fingers very tightly crossed!

I feel like I'm making a real mountain out of a molehill, because I'm not actually being sick, but I'm really struggling this time. I'm very much in awe of you women who are on number 4+! I really really hope this bean sticks, I really don't think I have another first trimester in me. 8+3 now so odds are good. Hopefully!
