Back from my early scan at Window to the Womb :) saw it's fluttering heartbeat, the head and fetal sac :D measuring at 8+1 which is only a day out from what I had estimated using CM for ovulation so feeling more relaxed and like it's actually real and happening!

Giraffe888 · 28/11/2018 19:33

&cathyj87 that’s lovely news! X

Giraffe888 · 28/11/2018 19:34

Oops that was a typing fail! X

Jxtina86 · 28/11/2018 19:40

@frazzlerock so sorry to hear that it wasn't the news you and I'm sure all of us on your behalf, were hoping for. My thoughts are with you and your DH and wishing you all the very best for the future. Xx

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 28/11/2018 19:53

@cathyj87 that's brilliant news. So happy for you

Delilah7 · 28/11/2018 19:56

@cathyj87 great news! Xx

SnailorSwift · 28/11/2018 20:12

@Kentishgal I'm lucky to have my own office - and really appreciating that fact right now! My colleague did knock and ask if I was ok though as she walked past and just spied my legs sticking out from behind the filing cabinet 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

@cathyj87 lovely news 💕

NoParticularPattern · 28/11/2018 20:30

Oh frazzle I was so hoping I’d log in today to find you’d had a good scan. I’m so sorry, it’s absolutely unbelievably shit. Take care of yourself and DH 💕

Pleased to see some positive news on here too. Hoping you’ll join them tomorrow twittle. I have everything crossed for you too.

Still nothing to report here. Super busy getting packed and sorted for going away early tomorrow morning so at least that’s stopped me counting down the hours!! Hoping for a lovely stress free week in the sun with DH and DD and looking forward to being 7 weeks when we get back. Hoping the next 6 weeks go faster than the last two!! Fingers crossed that Christmas will help move things along a bit!

StargazyDrifter · 28/11/2018 20:44

So sorry to hear your news, Frazzle. Unbelievably unfair. Thinking of you.

Good to hear of the positive scans and massive hugs and love for TwittleBee, hope everything goes really well tomorrow and the family situation calms a bit.

Work was tricky today. Also sat in the loo cubicle for a bit! A colleague popped in with her lovely little baby, she was due only a couple of weeks after my first pregnancy which ended in an MMC. Then I had two more failed pregnancies (MC and ectopic) spring/summer before this one. I was surprised by how much it played on my mind this afternoon, all somehow mixed up with worries about this pregnancy and kind of quietly upsetting.

Work was also busy and exhausting so planning to take a few days off next week to pace myself.

Hope everyone is feeling ok tonight, not too sicky, not too cold, not to worried. ((hugs))

hayleyfx · 28/11/2018 21:00

@cathyj87 brilliant news. Delighted for you x

@TwittleBee sending you the best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I hope everything is totally fine. Sorry you’ve had more stress today, I hope you’re doing okay and managing to stay as calm as possible. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

wombatron · 28/11/2018 21:27

Hello! I am checking in from the last thread also. Limping along at 5+2. Still sore boobs and not much else other than a fair bit of wind 😂

GP app complete and am registered with the midwife unit at my hospital - just need to wait for them to contact me for the initial appointment. Then I suppose 8 weeks till a scan of some sort which I imagine to be in January.

I have a viability scan booked next week, but given as I will be under 7wks I'm wondering if I should move it?

wombatron · 28/11/2018 21:29

And Frazzle I'm so sorry to read your news. I hope you get answers and lots of luck for the future xx

SnailorSwift · 28/11/2018 21:35

Oh god needing to pee constantly is getting so old already 🤦🏼‍♀️

Essexgirlupnorth · 28/11/2018 21:42

So sorry @frazzlerock to hear your bad news take care of yourself

Toria73 · 28/11/2018 21:51

@Frazzlerock, I’m so sorry to hear your news. I know from experience that there is nothing that anyone can say right now which helps so I’m sending you big virtual hugs. Take time out to look after you & be kind to yourself. 💕💕

RooKangaroo · 28/11/2018 22:02

So pleased for you, @cathyj87!

Onestep2 · 29/11/2018 05:43

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 06:03

Oh god that is a tough day! Onestep2 good luck!!!

Brilliant news cathyj87 ! So happy for you

My advice would be to move it wombatron in case you end up in a weird limbo like me and a few others have experienced

Thank you hayleyfx

Oh bless you, that must be so hard StargazyDrifter really horrible and mixed emotions with seeing a baby in that situation. Sending you love.

Today's the day, I've decided I am going to the private scan. Mum has actually agreed to come with me. I know she doesn't want me to but I'm so grateful she will still come with me. I also ended up having a friend come over last night as DH was on a night shift. So grateful she came over to distract me, was a lovely evening.

Bubble77bee · 29/11/2018 06:58

Frazzle, in so sorry to hear your sad news. Thinking of you. X

I driving myself insane with worry, and am pretty convinced I am heading for a third MMC. I’ve been tracking my BBT, which stayed high initially, but has been falling for the last 4-5 days. Does anyone else do this?

BettySwoll0cks · 29/11/2018 06:58

Good luck @TwittleBee. I'll be thinking of you. Mine's this afternoon too although I'm not getting my hopes up. Let us know how you go xx

TwittleBee · 29/11/2018 07:03

It's hard isn't it BettySwoll0cks I've not got my hopes up either, but I just can't help but think surely we have a chance? This sucks so much. Last night my friend reminded me that 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage and that it's just so unfortunately one of those horrid things about life. That statistic kinda helps me feel not so alone in all this.

Bubble77bee · 29/11/2018 07:21

Thinking of all of you who have scans today. Really hope you get good news.

MakeAWhish · 29/11/2018 07:30

Good luck today @TwittleBee so glad your mum is going with you, and that you had company last night.
Has anyone else developed acne? I've got sore spots all over my chin x

Giraffe888 · 29/11/2018 07:38

@Bubble77bee I’m still charting and mine has stayed consistently high. However everywhere tells you to stop charting as apparently your temp can fluctuate a lot in pregnancy so it’s not necessarily a bad sign. Hope you’re ok x

blueeyedviking · 29/11/2018 07:38

Good luck with your scans @BettySwoll0cks & @twittlebee

@makeawhish - yes I've had an outbreak since I was 5 weeks (9 now) . Not loads but I normally don't have anything.
