I'm 7+4 today, scan is on the 8th of Jan. Hoping Christmas will make it go by quick. At the moment I'm counting down to finishing work, desperate for some time off. Taken off the week before Christmas.

I'm 10+2 today, only 2 weeks until my 12 week scan!

My sickness has relented today, it's still there if I don't eat regularly, but not so debilitating that I've had to lay on the sofa all day. I'm hoping that's a sign we've progressed to the placenta taking over now and it'll stay away, last time it relented it came back twice as bad!

Sorry to hear there's been more bad news, but also glad others are getting good news! Fingers crossed for all the people in limbo!

My DS is still poorly and a total grumpy limpet, but we are off to see Santa tomorrow for the first time! So excited - though he'll probably hate it 😂😂

Im 9+6 and 2 weeks today till my scan, can’t wait!! Had my booking in appointment last Wednesday which was good apart from struggling to get blood out of me (unfortunate family trait). Eventually got a nurse in to do it, I was desperately trying not to faint as I’m not good with needles, when she said “ good god, if you’re bad with a little needle how will you cope with child birth?” ....I’m not sure how I restrained myself!!!

I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow. I've got my 12 week scan on 31st dec, when I'll be 12+5.

Had a scan last week on Wednesday, which confirmed dates and we saw the heart beat.

I've booked a scan for the 20th as I want to see the little bean again before we tell everyone at Xmas

@christmascakesplease I’m 9 weeks tomorrow too but not got a scan date yet. Midwife thinks mine might be after Xmas too ( was secretly hoping for before so I could tell everyone). Tempted for a private scan but don’t want it to make me too anxious.

I haven’t seen anyone yet - will be 8-9 weeks on Friday. Have a brief appointment for another midwife to take bloods and arrange a scan when I’ll be 9-10 weeks with booking in appointment at 12-13 weeks. The GPs surgery only wanted to give me the booking appointment at 13 weeks - grrr and then when I asked if I could book in with the system at another branch said no as they want me to see the same midwife throughout. Did point out that I didn’t see the same midwife more than once in my last pregnancy so didn’t care - didn’t go down very well!

Based on measurements last Wed I should be 8+4 but let’s see what happens tomorrow as seeing Consultant - so good vibes please! Feeling fairly calm this time but who knows. Really bloated and kinda slightly stabby/stitch type pains if anyone’s had that?? Although prob trapped wind with all the bloat!!

@HchyScott I don’t think diplomacy/bedside manner is on the midwife training plan!

@DrEv I am fairly similar- I am 6 weeks and 4 days and my doctor won't see me until 2nd missed period so my appointment is December 14th

I have a private scan on the 17th where I will be 8weeks and 3 days.

I'm just worried that I haven't had my first midwife or booking in appointment. Do they usually happen quite quickly? BexSue my 12 week scan will be due in Jan.

@twistering luckily the nurse said that not the midwife, hopefully I won’t see her much lol the midwife was so lovely and said I’ve cut her hair before lol even though I can’t remember!
Yes, lots of stitchy pains today, under my ribs and down my sides, I took it to be trapped wind too but could be having a growth/ stretch spurt maybe!

@Twistering i have that stabby/stichy pain! Not painful really just very strange.

@rookangeroo my eating habits are really strange and not eating a lot. Just trying to get some food in me as was losing weight at one point!

Finally got my booking in appointment letter but it's not until the 17th, I'll be 11 weeks then, has anybody else had a booking in appointment so late?

I have just been to visit a friend who had her baby 2 days ago, we are only the second set of people to visit even before parents!! He was a billy and so lovely 😊 still not told anyone yet, friend asking if I’m broody but not giving anymore away 😬😬

Such a whirlwind of emotion to think that could hopefully me in the summer, fingers crossed little twinkle ✨

Any who to answer your question I am 10 + 3 and I had my book in appointment Friday at 9+6 I have heard nothing back from bloods so presuming all good? And just waiting for the referral letter in the post for my 12 week scan.. or my redundancy letter. :( Christ on a bike!

Is anybody else suddenly just not hungry? It got to 1 o’clock today and I realised I hadn’t eaten. I’m not nauseous just...not hungry. I’m having to force some food down tonight just so baby has nutrients.

I’m 7+2 and my first midwife appointment will be on the 18th December. No idea when my 12 week scan will be I haven’t heard.

Feeling less tired and sicky today but suddenly really hungry and very moody. Boobs still sore and a big day tomorrow I don't think I can quite manage.

I have my private scan this Thursday evening after my scare this week with the brown discharge, which hasn’t appeared again thankfully.

Aww snap! Glad the brown discharge has stopped Softkitty and nice to have a date twin! 😊 Hope Thurs goes well, I was thinking of going for a reassurance scan on Monday - too long til the 28th and last Christmas we ended up with MMC so would be nice to see something better.

Sorry to hear about the losses.

I've been struggling this weekend with a cold and missed two days of work . I feel stupid missing work for a cold but what with already feeling shattered and then not being able to take anything It's been a struggle.

Ive finally managed to get some energry back, been able to eat near enough normally for the last few days. Still feel sicky but it tends to come when im feeling really hungry. Prob got to do with tablets doc gave well and truely kicking in. its such a relief thou.

im 10+2 today. have told a few of my closest friends after our scan on sunday. literally could not keep it in lol

What pregnancy app is everyone using? i cant find one that i love

@Onestep2 what tablets did they give you? Mine have defo helped. However I seem to have a very loose tummy now :( typical!!

I am feeling dog rough today and so tired thanks to DS2 and his bedtime shenanigans he is 2 tomorrow and my DP and DB are coming to stay and I have SO much to do but I want to collapse on the sofa and do nothing!

@deliah7 tablets i got was to settle the acidity level in my tummy. ive been prone to tummy flare ups pre-pregnancy and coz i was being sick with morning sickness it caused a tummy flare up and then that was making me sicker than the morning sickness! so ive been on Omeprazole tablets and Maalox liquid

Also using the Pregnancy + app - I like it because it shows you the actual size (averaged I'm guessing) of the little beans! I haven't moved my viability scan. I've kept it for 6+4 as I think I can't wait any longer. My boobs are quite swollen, which is annoying as I bough new bras when La Senza had their buy 3 get 2 free thing going on 🙄

Now 10+2 got my scan on 17th December. So excited and nervous. Just got a lot of Christmas stuff to sort out before then so I'm torn between wanting time to hurry up and wanting it to slow down!
@onestep2 I'm using baby centre which is ok, it had good reviews on the App Store but I'm not actually looking at it that much tbh. Baby is currently the size of a green olive though, I know that much.

Sounds like I'm amongst the first out of all of us to have the 12w scan. That's a scary thought! I haven't had any other scans yet so really no idea what to expect, I just hope it's all good news 😬
