The old thread got closed at 1000 posts, I'm not sure why. So I've started this new one. I hope you all find it ok. @Swisbest2 @OneMoreWish @frankiefumbles @Kisses4u @hayleyfx @Maydot @Jessabean

Guessing I'll wait for blood results and imagine doctor/midwife will go from there. I was having chicken pox immunisation tested but he also said he'd test me for my liver, platlettes and clotting so hopefully if there's any issue it can be resolved. I know achy/restless legs can just be a pregnancy symptom but it's awful. If it's not one leg it's the other or both x

kisses4u · 23/01/2019 18:02

That's so annoying @Maydot I bet you were really excited to get building and nesting too! So frustrating for you! Hope it comes soon.

We are due May 18th.

Had my 24 week MW app today. All is looking good. I measured slightly over at 26cm but I had the same MW last time and I remember DS measuring bigger and he was only 7lb 3oz at birth, so it just goes to show these measurements are only estimates (plus I think my MW is a bit generous!!) 😆

kisses4u · 23/01/2019 18:06

Sorry @xJune88 somehow i didn't see your posts! Restless legs is awful! I get it in and off and it's bloody annoying!
I hope your blood results come back ok. You should get the results within a short time? Did they say how long you'd have to wait?

xJune88 · 23/01/2019 18:16

@kisses4u not nice but nice to know it's not just me haha. My midwife app is on Wednesday at 25+2 And I think I'll measure big too as everyone is telling me I'm huge. Doctor said a few days so I'll try on Friday. Hope I don't need to wait till Monday! X

Pancakes7 · 23/01/2019 19:15

@Kisses4u Aw you, me and @dreaminofholidays are all close in due dates. 17th, 18th and 20th May! I have my 25wk mw appointment on 6th Feb, I'll be 25 weeks + 2 days. I think he might measure big. As he was higher on most of the measurements at the anomaly scan.

Pancakes7 · 23/01/2019 19:16

@xJune88 I do hope you get the results before the weekend. I hope it's an easy fix for you and they can make you more comfortable.

Any news on your blood tests @xJune88

xJune88 · 27/01/2019 09:22

Yeah sorry been that hectic! Receptionist scared the life out of me and told me there was a query over it and doctor would be in touch, obviously I decided I had it and was doomed. Rang midwife who looked at my results for me and said all was fine I am carrying the antibodies so should be safe. And my legs and stuff, I've been put onto iron tablets, haven't had cramps since!! Thankyou for asking. Hope everyone is ok xx

Pancakes7 · 27/01/2019 13:14

Oh dear, shame receptionist scared you. I'm glad you spoke to mw and it's good news. Good you're feeling better.

OP posts:
Swisbest2 · 27/01/2019 16:04

How amazing @june88 that iron tablets have sorted you out! Bet you were pissed off with that receptionist!! I take it that at next mw appt (mines 21st feb) they measure youre belly. Keep having people say they hadnt noticed i was pregnant at all so will be nice to find out if were on track. Baby was 13oz at 21w5 scan so think thats good. Just on last day of holiday from work. Next time im off will be hopefully very heavily pregnant 😮😮

xJune88 · 28/01/2019 12:18

Yeah @swisbest2 my 25 weeker is on Wednesday at 25+4 excited to see what I measure haha and whether it's a big bump or because I'm so small (5ft1 8stone 2 before baby) I work in a school so 10 more weeks to work and I'm done!! Crazy x

Pancakes7 · 28/01/2019 12:57

@xJune88 Oh wow only 10 weeks. Nice. I have 15 weeks as stopping week before due date. Tbh even 15 weeks doesn't sound very long! I hope baby isn't early though. Started worrying I'll go into labour at work. As heard you're full term at 37 weeks which I didn't know. My 25wk appointment is Wednesday next week. I'll be 25 weeks and 3 days. Hoping baby isn't getting too big lol.

@june88 and @pancakes7 yay to putting feet up for a bit 😁 i think ive been a bit ambitious saying ill work til end of april (ill be 35 weeks) being on my feet all day and dealing eith stupid lazy people is making me lose my patience lol

xJune88 · 29/01/2019 16:14

I'll be 37 weeks when I stop so think I'm been over ambitious too but I'll stop earlier if I have to x

dreaminofholidays · 29/01/2019 17:27

@junex88 let us know how the 25 week app goes tomorrow. I've got mine on Friday.

I only have 4 weeks left before I start mat leave. I'm pretty rubbish at being pregnant and work is very stressful so looking forward to having some time to prepare before the little one arrives.

xxx

xJune88 · 29/01/2019 18:03

Will do @dreaminofholidays hope she measures my bump I'm excited to see if I really am big haha. Little girl has been up in my ribs today and very wriggly!! I love her so much already it's crazy. Oh wow 4 weeks that's amazing wish I could afford to finish sooner as I'd love to be at home chilling and enjoying me time. We're really struggling to find a nice grey nursery furniture set we both like. If anyone has recommendations or ideas send them my way, hubby wants dark grey but there all hideous or like 2grand! X

dreaminofholidays · 29/01/2019 18:24

@junex88 grey furniture sounds lush! We've struggled to find something we like too, we are looking at white so should be very straight forward but haven't seen the one yet. We're off to the baby show first weekend in March so hoping they will have a good selection of furniture there. x

Pancakes7 · 29/01/2019 20:33

@Swisbest2 Yeah I worry, I'll be 28 weeks and 4 days when I leave work. I guess I'll see how I feel. Really don't want to go into labour at work lol. @xJune88 My furniture is white. I got changing table with drawers and snuzpod. Both second hand. Will put in another chest of drawers we have too. Then later get a cot. That's all we're getting tbh. We are planning to paint the room neutral, almond white like the rest of our house or pale grey. Then a dinosaur theme. A few framed dino pictures, lampshade, blind and rug. Excited tp get started! But need to paint rest of our rooms first.

Midwife didn't measure me she said they don't do it until 28 weeks. But I laid on couch and she listened to baby and felt my stomach. She showed me where uterus should be at 25 weeks and mine is right under my boobs 😂 she asked me if I was sure it wasn't twins or it's going to be a whopper. Hahah I've had ALOT of scans so sure there's just one but now worried about her size hahaha x

xJune88 · 30/01/2019 16:11

Oh and I've put a stone on 🙈

dreaminofholidays · 30/01/2019 17:06

@pancakes7 your nursery sounds like it will be lovely!
@junex88 I think from what you've mentioned you're quite petite? Could that be why your uterus seems high? Two in there would be a shock!
Got mine on Friday will be nice to hear the heartbeat again. xxx

xJune88 · 30/01/2019 19:32

Yeah I'm 5"2 and was 8stone 2 maximum at my heaviest. But fluctuated from 7.14 to 8.2 I'm now 9.2 🤦🏼‍♀️ but owell haha. I'm telling myself it's all baby and it'll come off afterwards. Xx

Pancakes7 · 30/01/2019 20:11

@xJune88 Oh I thought they started measuring at 25 weeks. Maybe not. I can't find our scales...I hope I haven't gained too much weight. I've not been weighed yet at MW. Baby Boy is wriggling atm. Anyone else so excited to meet their little baby, they can't wait?!

OP posts:
Pancakes7 · 30/01/2019 20:13

Thank you @dreaminofholidays. I can't wait to decorate the room.

@pancakes7 definitely exciting but sometimes I feel like it hasn't sunk in that in a few months I will have a little tiny human to look after. How about everyone else?

Does anyone on this thread have dogs or cats? I've got two dogs so trying to think of what I can do to ensure them meeting their new brother or sister as easy as possible.

I'm not excited about being weighed at all... 😣 xxx
