New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Maxiflump1. Age 37. DC#2 (DS is 3) EDD 07/02/19

Just checking into this thread as well.
I’m 38, EDD 1/2/2019; I’m 8 weeks today. I have a DD who is 5.Had an early scan which showed two heartbeats, having another one on Thursday whether both sticks.

I am very tired most of the time and nauseous constantly. My back hurts like hell :(.

Babybeany · 22/06/2018 15:18

@ronniemipperton I’m forest hill. We are neighbours! 😍 congratulations on your scan! What a lovely little bean! Xx

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 22/06/2018 15:25

@ronniemipperton

Congrats on your scan!! x

MamaSarai · 22/06/2018 15:34

It really does @Alicejj8x, and right on cue I'm doing a massive yawn whilst writing this lol!!

@FrowningFlamingo if only!

waves to @AliceRR SmileSmile

@jeanzbeanz that's strange, I felt like mine was quite thorough really although it's a shame as it was just the on-call midwife - mine was off sick. She told me to fill in the form in my own time as well.

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 16:01

@bubblybrit
Ahhhh I hope it goes fast for you!! We can doooo this lol

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 16:01

@AliceRR
Oh I know that feeling too well lol!! Tiredness is just taking over.

gingerlou84 · 22/06/2018 16:31

Hello all, I'm just joining. I'm 5+1, due 21 Feb. This will be number 2. DS is 17 months.

AliceRR · 22/06/2018 16:38

@yakadee - woo another one for West Yorkshire

When did everyone get their first MW appointments. Mine has just come through but it is for 16 July when I will be 10 weeks. I feel like I’d like to see her earlier than that.

And it makes me wonder how soon after that my first scan will be - to get one two weeks later seems soon unless they book them in now 🤔

Yakadee · 22/06/2018 16:46

@AliceRR - I actually had mine yesterday at 7+3. They booked my scan at my appointment so booked in 23/07 when I'm exactly 12w. That does seem like a long time? X

PeggyO · 22/06/2018 16:57

Hello, checking in here! I'm 6+6, due date 9th Feb. I'm 33 and have a 2 year old DS. Struggling a bit with nausea, exhaustion and a toddler with chicken pox at the moment Sad I've been off work with him for a couple of days and had such good intentions of working while he naps and in the evening, but I feel so rough I'm just sleeping when he sleeps! He's also waking up at 5am all upset each day so I'm racing to wolf down breakfast so I can go and get him without retching... So glad it's the weekend so DH will be on hand in the mornings!

@AliceRR, here the community midwifery team book in the booking in appointment and the scan - so if your booking in ends up being close to 12 weeks they'll also book in the scan before your booking in appointment. Maybe it's the same where you are? I had my booking in at nearly 11 weeks last time and my scan at 13.

The midwifery team called me this week but I don't have a booking in or scan date yet. We're moving house at the start of August so would love to have had the scan by then (if only to justify not doing too much lifting!)

AliceRR · 22/06/2018 17:15

@yakadee @peggyo I haven’t had a scan appointment unless that would come in a separate letter. I might call them and find out as I’m already worried and it seems long enough to wait til 12 week’s. I don’t want to have to wait til much longer than that for my first scan.

Yakadee · 22/06/2018 17:26

@AliceRR - Yeh might be worth checking. I was just looking on the NHS website and it seems to suggest you'd get your first appointment before 10 weeks as if states this ;

Screening for sickle cell disease and thalassaemia should be offered before 10 weeks.

Not sure if you're doing this etc but this would suggest it should be before 10 weeks? Xx

MrsY87 · 22/06/2018 17:45

@AliceRR my booking appointment is just over 10w as we're away for the 2w before and they said it needed to be between 8-10w. With my first pregnancy I had my booking app the day before my 12w scan! We just book our booking app through the GP surgery and then send in a form for the scan separately here so my appointments are confirmed as two letter...strange how they do things differently everywhere! I would perhaps just give them a call to check scan date but don't worry too much about your booking appointment being at 10w (unless you have something specific to discuss with them), it's basically just ALOT of form filling!

hayleyfx · 22/06/2018 18:18

@AliceRR I think booking appointments are usually between 8-10 weeks, check with them if you have any concerns about it being too late but I’m sure it’s fine. Mine is on Monday, I’ll be 7+6 so it really varies. Regardless, I’m sure your scan will be booked for 11-14 weeks - where I’m from anyway, that’s the latest they will offer a dating scan.

Does anyone else have bad food aversions, like most foods right now make me gag but sometimes I get an unreal craving for something and if I don’t get it I can’t eat anything else 🙈 everyday it’s something different haha! Today I want spaghetti bolognese but made with quorn mince and no onions... so that’s what I’m having! 🤣

clairehr · 22/06/2018 18:28

Checking in - this thread moves SOOO fast, haha!

Anyone else have panics some days that they're just not pregnant? I only have slight tenderness to my boobs, nauseous normally for 30.minutes or so tin the morning, and I'm starving ALL. THE. TIME. But that's it. No more cramps or back pain like in the first week, that was so reassuring 😔

Babybeany · 22/06/2018 18:38

@clairehr my cramps have subsided too. I might get an extremely mild sensation occasionally, my lower back still aches if I over do it and my nips are still tender. I have only felt sick once after toast last night. But like you I felt far more reassurance last week. X

twiglet · 22/06/2018 18:38

@hayleyfx yes I think I'm doing DH head in he's having to cook at the moment as I'm too exhausted and the smell/heat of cooking makes me feel very sick!
I can't stomach fish, curry or rice noodles at the moment all things I love ☹️
I can't eat anything in the morning until I've had a coop iced skinny latte it's mostly milk no idea why I don't even like latte.....

Babybeany · 22/06/2018 18:40

@hayleyfx I am eating everything in sight right now! Skips for starter and pizza for main tonight! 🤣 I’ve eaten really healthy this week, so tonight is treat night now I’m not allowed vino collapso anymore! X

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 18:41

@clairehr
I can 100%! Relate and I think I have wrote on here more times than I can remember about the exact same issue

I just think we need to trust in our selfs our bodies and our tiny beans that everything is ok

I think it's so easy to obsess over symptoms it takes over your life ! It Defo defo does mine anyway lol. I wake up some days and if it wasn't for the preg test I honestly wouldn't know I was preg

Have you got any scans? How far along are you?

All I have is sore boobs today they have been more noticeable as they feel a lot heavier and a few cramps a few back twinges and tiredness like mental! But no sickness. Praying when I have my scan next week everything is ok!!..as I've had 2 MC now so this is extra scary

Let me know how you get on with everything and I shall be sending good thoughts.

clairehr · 22/06/2018 19:02

@babybeany It felt so much better with the aches and pains didn't it!!

@Alicejj8x Yes, you're right, the only thing we can do is believe that everything is going right. It's terrifying because all I know are miscarriages! I have a reassurance scan booked for 3rd July. Still nothing through for Midwife booking appointment though. Doctor said it didn't take long and they'd push it through due to my history, but it's been a week now and I feel like I need to talk to someone who knows their stuff and feel like I'm being checked, you know?

hayley013 · 22/06/2018 19:06

😂@hayleyfx yeah I'm being a total good diva at the moment haha. Really gone off anything sweet other than fruit, my thing at the moment is ham sandwiches, weird, I'm eating one now and it's just making me feel so much better haha.

hayley013 · 22/06/2018 19:07

Food* diva 🙄

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 19:14

@clairehr oh bless you.
Ahh sorry for your losses. How many MC have you had if you don't mind me asking?..

Ohh ok when i was last preg in Feb I didn't get anything through from midwife till I turnt 6 weeks and then they called and booked me In for that chat and go through details but sadly a few day later I MC but if they said they are pushing it through then I wonder what's taking so long! How annoying I defo get what you mean you just wana speak to someone who knows there stuff and who can reassure you

When I had the doctors call on Wednesday I asked about symptoms / lack of them and she said to me don't go on symptoms coz some ppl have loads and others don't have any and then said some who do have all the symptoms can end up MC and others that have none and go on to have fine healthy pregnancies. So I am holding on to what she told me about not obsessing over symptoms and just taken a new approach to this pregnancy and see what happens Wednesday I guess. Although I wish I had lots of symptoms I.e sickness as it does reassure you

bubblybrit · 22/06/2018 19:14

@Alicejj8x. It was a long afternoon so very glad to be home now!! Hope your day wasn’t too bad xx

hayleyfx · 22/06/2018 19:19

@twiglet @Babybeany haha I’m glad I’m not the only one! Foods I used to love make me feel sick now, it’s so weird. Btw skips and pizza sounds exactly like the kind of meal I would have now 🤣

@hayley013 food diva 🤣 that’s the perfect way to describe it haha! 100% me right now 🙈
