New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Aw that's a lovely photo @ronniemipperton congrats.

Just had my midwife call, she's coming out to do my booking appt 9th July, nice to have the confirmation x

jeanzbeanz · 22/06/2018 14:06

Anyone else not being sick much but doing lots of retching? My stomach muscles are sore from all the heaving I've been doing 😖 but only been properly sick a couple of times. It's definitely getting worse too... argh

FrowningFlamingo · 22/06/2018 14:06

I have a scan tomorrow afternoon and I'm really nervous. I'm earlier than I wanted to be - 6 plus 3 or 4 but we are really busy the next couple of weeks so had to take the opportunity.

FrowningFlamingo · 22/06/2018 14:07

Oops, posted too soon!!

It's been nice to see the scan pics so far though, reassured me we might actually see something!

Yellow100 · 22/06/2018 14:13

@HannahLucy Lovely to have a fellow 37 first-timer! Congrats! Smile

hayleyfx · 22/06/2018 14:14

@ronniemipperton aww congrats! How lovely x

@jeanzbeanz yep that’s how I’m feeling. I’ve got bad nausea on and off and dry heaving but not actually being sick. Sometimes I think I might feel a bit better if I could just be sick but I can’t!

Babybeany · 22/06/2018 14:17

@ronniemipperton and @HannahLucy are we neighbours?! I’m Lewisham too! 🤣 x

hayley013 · 22/06/2018 14:22

Yeah I wretch on a morning and evening but not actually been sick at all yet. Just feel sickly the rest of the time xx

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 22/06/2018 14:25

I really need to find a sickness solution for in the car!!

I'm not physically sick but feel I'm not far off. Every time I drive or travel in a car.

What can I do?

ronniemipperton · 22/06/2018 14:25

Thanks @hayley013 and @hayleyfx Smile

@Babybeany maybe! I’m in Catford.

Good luck with the scan tomorrow @FrowningFlamingo!

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 14:30

Anyone else feel like a zombie come afternoon?

hayley013 · 22/06/2018 14:34

Yes @Alicejj8x I do. It's just hit me now and I could just go to sleep, but I won't because then I won't get to sleep tonight 😴 xx

MamaSarai · 22/06/2018 14:34

@jeanzbeanz just echoing what @twiglet said - they go back the first date of your last period. The early scans are notoriously inaccurate from what I've read. It's best to wait until your dating scan to know with more certainty.

Just got back from my booking appointment.

Sounds like it was more or less the same as yours @jeanzbeanz (which isn't a surprise if we're both in Leeds!) - urine sample, blood sample, lots of questions about medical history - physical and mental. I found it really helpful to have DH there, she did ask a few questions about his history too but generally it was just nice from a support side of things. Likewise she said my EDD was 26th Jan but I'm expecting that to change - not sure what my cycle length is as I was on the pill the month before we got pregnant. She also referred me to the hospital for the dating scan via email so FX it's not too long to wait!

There was a LOT of information to digest RE the various screening tests you can have. She went into quite a bit of detail about what would happen if you came back as high risk and didn't pressure us one way or the other, but we decided to go for it, personally I'd rather know, but it won't be for everyone Smile

MamaSarai · 22/06/2018 14:36

Yes @Alicejj8x! So far my routine is wake up, feel nauseous for 15 mins, have breakfast, go to work, be FAMISHED by 11, eat lunch at 1 then try desperately not to fall asleep at 3:30. By 5 I've usually perked up again though, lol

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 14:39

@hayley013
It just hits you so hard doesn't it and the worst thing I find Is sitting down as I don't want to get up again lol!!

Finish work at 5.30 and atm I'm wondering how I'm going to make it till then lol

I only really have tiredness and boob soreness as symptoms atm so hoping it's still good news although earlier I did feel abit funny so wondering if the start of the sickness is about to start lol

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 14:40

@MamaSarai
Ahhh bless you!! Just takes over doesn't it and one min your doing the daily work and the next it's like woah hello tiredness loool

bubblybrit · 22/06/2018 14:48

@Alicejj8x. I’m feeling the same as you. Due to finish at 5pm but my eyes are actually nipping I’m that tired. Two hours left of my working day may as well be 22 hours right now 😢 xx

FrowningFlamingo · 22/06/2018 14:48

MamaSarai this is my day in a nutshell too! Though I'm not sure about the perking up part so much. Is it bedtime yet?!?
Thanks ronniemipperton, I'll let you know how it goes, of course!

AliceRR · 22/06/2018 14:57

@mamasarai @mamasarai I’m in Leeds too!

@Alicejj8x I’m trying to be productive at work but it’s just not happening. I’m trying mind over matter but it’s not really working!

AliceRR · 22/06/2018 14:58

That should have been @jeanzbeanz too

Can I blame pregnancy brain yet?? 😂

Yakadee · 22/06/2018 14:59

@AliceRR - I'm Halifax so not too far from you guys! X

jeanzbeanz · 22/06/2018 15:01

@MamaSarai I didn't even get asked all those questions - she just told me to fill in the booklet when I have time?!
Also referred to hospital via email - apparently I'll get my scan date via letter.

DD is 10 this year, so will be a big age gap.

jeanzbeanz · 22/06/2018 15:05

@AliceRR you totally can. I honestly feel like my brain has been entirely removed at times.

Pepper123123 · 22/06/2018 15:05

Oops! I'm 28, not 27 🤦🏼‍♀️
