@bubblybrit
Ahh just relax and put your feet up lovely!

Afternoon bloody dragged lol but so glad to be home. Well in a pub garden enjoying a lemonade whilst moaning to other half about being tired lol

clairehr · 22/06/2018 19:46

@Alicejj8x 'Only' had 2 MCs and 1 Chemical, but because it's in the last 13 months supposed to be being watched, but perhaps but just a busy time for them at the moment or something!

That's reassuring from your MW. It's the fact that I had symptoms that seem to have dies down a lot that worries me. Nothing has gone completely like the last times, but enough for it to niggle at me. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and feels like a milestone as only got this far both times. On ultra high alert right now 😂

bubblybrit · 22/06/2018 20:18

@Alicejj8x. Ah that sounds like a lovely evening! I’ve got a busy day tomorrow so going to try and get to sleep early 🙂xx

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 21:33

@clairehr oh I am so sorry Hun :(

I completely understand your worries! Hopefully the MW will get back to you soon and you can get the reassurance you need

Ahh yes I see what you mean but maybe they just slowing down atm and then you never know they could come back and hit you twice as hard?
Just try not to worry I know that's so easier said than done but honestly just think positive thoughts and we can do this!! Xx

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 21:34

@bubblybrit

Alicejj8x · 22/06/2018 21:34

** sorry hope your busy day goes ok tmo x

LookingAtTheStars89 · 22/06/2018 21:37

@Alicejj8x. I spoke to a retired midwife the other day and she said to just think yourself lucky if you didn't get many symptoms and that it didn't really mean anything.

twiglet · 23/06/2018 02:40

Well despite being knackered and in bed by 9pm I've now been wide awake for over an hour! New one for me is waking up with massive sick feeling and hunger in equal measures..... So a bit screwed as thought of food is churning with hunger at the same time 🙄😣

clairehr · 23/06/2018 03:40

@twiglet That's rubbish, hope you manage to get back to sleep. I've woken up with nausea (but thankfully no hunger) too and struggling to sleep again too.

FrowningFlamingo · 23/06/2018 05:37

twiglet I have had a similar feeling to that, I read that nibbling on a rice cake helps and it does seem to settle both a bit. Mine happens around 11am though and weirdly MIL had exactly the same when pregnant with DH.
I'm finding I get full really quickly now, especially in the evening. But I'm still hungry at the same time!
I manage about a third of my usual meal and am feeling ravenous still but can't manage another bite.

Yakadee · 23/06/2018 07:27

@twiglet - I'm fine until I wake up but then I'm really nauseous. My DS woke me up quite early this morning and could have happily gone back to sleep but in kicks that lovely nausea x

Babybeany · 23/06/2018 07:44

Morning mummies! Happy weekend! We can sleep when we want to sleep for the next 48 hours!! 😍👍x

maxiflump1 · 23/06/2018 07:49

Ah you maybe able to @Babybeany ...... unfortunately my 3 year old hasn't read the memo! Ah the joys of motherhood GrinWink

@maxiflump1 I forget we aren’t all first time mummies! Whoopsie! 🤭 I hope you have a lovely weekend regardless. X

twiglet · 23/06/2018 08:20

I think I got back to sleep around 5ish to wake up at 7 but it's a bit more! Will try corncakes if it happens again.
It's hard for me to work out what are pure pregnancy symptoms and what is due to my low blood pressure which I naturally have but is now even lower.
I would happily swap for a few symptoms this is debilitating 😔
I can't drive due to continuous light headedness and dizzyness, came close to fainting 3 times at work this week, 24/7 nausea at varying levels, headaches at least once a day, being knackered and shivering.
I know I sound like a right moany pants but honestly it's hard to function at the moment!

Babybeany · 23/06/2018 09:01

Anyone else get nauseous after eating? I was starving for breakfast, ate really healthily and about 5 mins later my stomach churns. It’s happened before but mainly in the evening. 🤢

Babybeany · 23/06/2018 09:04

@twiglet have you spoken to your gp? They might be able to give you something to replace fluids and keep you more balanced? Keep pestering them too, my friend got hospitalised due to sickness in pregnancy. Look after yourself x

hayley013 · 23/06/2018 09:11

@twiglet hope you feel better soon. If it gets really bad maybe see your Dr for some help with symptoms. I felt awful this morning but ate as soon as I woke, as in had a rich tea biscuit before I got out of bed, and I feel a lot better already than previous days. Ice pops are still the winner though, they take away the nausea instantly for a good hour so balancing those and food constantly to try keep the awful feeling away.

My 4yo was up bright and early too, it's so weird, everyday this week she's said she wishes she had a baby brother or sister, so weird it's like she knows 😳

twiglet · 23/06/2018 09:21

@babybeany I spoke to the midwife as I'm not being physically sick there is little they can do. She said to drink plenty of water which I'm doing and they will monitor my blood pressure. I'm hoping a weekend of no plans or trying to pretend to be normal will help me feel a bit better!

Babybeany · 23/06/2018 09:26

@twiglet I’m drinking sparkling water with a little fruit juice in, that might help get some nutrients in you and I find it less boring than squash x

GeorgieWish · 23/06/2018 09:36

Hello!

GeorgieWish 40 EDD 16 Feb, first one

GeorgieWish · 23/06/2018 09:38

How are people coping with the tiredness? I feel overwhelmed sometimes at work. Then last night I came home closed my eyes for a second, woke up three hours later!

GeorgieWish · 23/06/2018 09:41

Yes! Me! People are talking to me at work and I just want to nod off. I also live in Greece so the heat isn’t helping!

bubblybrit · 23/06/2018 10:01

@LookingAtTheStars89. How’s you? X

LookingAtTheStars89 · 23/06/2018 10:10

@bubblybrit. Hey :-) Apart from snooooozing literally every opportunity I get lol I'm ok. I only have intermittent bouts of nausea. I'm quite windy though Blush How are you feeling?
