New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Hoping everyone who has a scan booked today has a healthy little bean! I can’t wait to have our scan and put my mind at rest! Tiredness and cramps seem to have subsided... I’m so worried! 😕

Alicejj8x · 21/06/2018 08:28

I'm also with you ladies with the whole worrying about lacking of symptoms.

I have googled like crazy i spoke to the doctors yesterday. They reassured me that you don't need to have sickness for a healthy pregnancy. ( even though I like to think it reassures you if you do )

It looks like it's very common for the lack of symptoms early on

Good luck with any scans xx

bubblybrit · 21/06/2018 08:36

Morning ladies. I told my parents and mil yesterday. They are delighted. My DM said that she had absolutely no sickness with me. Which had reassured me given that I’ve had no sickness yet either!

Is anyone considering a NIPT scan from 10 weeks?

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 21/06/2018 08:39

5+4 and the actual throwing up has started..

I hate it, but I’m also relieved.. an increase of symptoms after spotting can only be a good thing right? I know it’s no guarantee.. but it’s better than waning symptoms...?

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 21/06/2018 08:41

And yes yo the NIPT scan (is that the Harmony one?).

I’ve not dared look into anything yet, just waiting to see if this one sticks first, but once I feel safer I shall be looking into diagnostic testing more.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 21/06/2018 08:42

Or screening, that should say.. not diagnostic.

fizzledays · 21/06/2018 08:42

Jumping in from last board and asking same q again sorry! Anyone else gotten sick? Not morning sickness, a cold? I've had one for coming up 4 days - wasn't sure if it was heyfever or a cold but def a cold!!! I'm sneezing so violently, sounds so silly I know but it's making me worried! I've taken 1 paracetamol in 4 days, trying to tough it out!!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 21/06/2018 08:42

After going on yesterday about how we hadn't had proper sex since the BFP I woke up this morning like a horndog and had to leap on DP 🙈

We are off to Berlin for a long weekend tomorrow morning. I just hope I'm not too tired and queasy to enjoy it!

MrsY87 · 21/06/2018 08:53

Yes we'll probably have the harmony test done, we had it done with DS and thinking the same this time. It's so expensive though!

I hardly had any nausea/sickness with my DD but awful nausea with DS so maybe this is another girl?!

sleighride5 · 21/06/2018 08:53

@Clairehr we've always had a pretty active sex life and aside from the days where I have felt fully sick we have continued more or less as normal.

Bee4S · 21/06/2018 08:54

@Alicejj8x I wouldn't worry too much about not having loads of symptoms. My sister didn't have anything but fatigue in her first trimester. I'm 6+3 and have sore nipples, firm boobs and lots of bloat but that about it. I needed a little reassurance a couple of days ago so took another pregnancy test and the line was nice and dark. It did put my mind at ease though 😊

Seems like a few of you have had great scans already. Fx for those that are having them soon that all is well!

Alicejj8x · 21/06/2018 08:58

@Bee4S
Thank you!!
Ahh that helps me :) it's just so worrying isnt it and where I've had 2 MC now I just freak out even more.

I think I'm a week behind you :)

Yes doing a test reassures me too. I did a clear blue this morning and it went up to 3+ and yesterday it was 2-3 so I don't know how accurate that can be In terms of how the pregnancy is going

sleighride5 · 21/06/2018 09:05

@celebelly I share your fear! My DH is 6ft6 and the idea of it means I have already told him that if the baby is huge I'm going ECS. He just laughs at me. But his mum had a CS with him so it's a strong possibility.

booxox · 21/06/2018 09:29

@Leonora94 haha, that sounds pretty good to be fair... love a bit of garlic bread! 😂

AliceRR · 21/06/2018 10:03

@babybeany I’ve had wind. It was one of my first symptoms (before BFP) along with constipation, sore boobs and unusual spots on my face!

I’ve been feeling queasy all week but yesterday started to feel like I might be sick. Even retched a bit but wasn’t sick.

It doesn’t feel great to feel nauseous and headaches (when avoiding painkillers!) but I am reassured slightly by the symptoms. Wonder if I should feel more sick though. I know everyone’s different.

Seafoodeatit · 21/06/2018 10:27

Hello all, thanks to nausea I've been avoiding the screen.

Due DC4 and last on the 9th or 10th of Feb
DC3 almost 1
DC2 almost 2
DC1 7

Not doing the NIPT test, they offer the IONA here but I don't think it's necessary at £300+, I might consider it if my results come back high risk but otherwise no especially as I hate blood tests. I thought the harmony was also a blood test and not a scan?

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 21/06/2018 10:45

So my horrid has has finally gone!!!!!

So amazed!

Still really exhausted though and a little nauseated.

6 weeks today as well my app says! Yay!!

Bluebeee · 21/06/2018 11:26

Hi all. Checking in for the first time. Got my bfp last Saturday and have been on the other Feb group. This one seems bigger so makes sense for this to be the main one. Is there a fb group? I'm 29, this will be dc2. Dd is 2 in September. We were ttc and lucky enough to fall first cycle.

Bluebeee · 21/06/2018 11:27

Add 10th Feb.

bubblybrit · 21/06/2018 12:21

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking. Yeah it’s the harmony one. My friend who is 6-7 months pregnant spoke about it so I have been looking into it. Costs about £400 at my local clinic but think it’s worth it!

bubblybrit · 21/06/2018 12:23

@MrsY87. Yeah it is pretty expensive. So thought I’d get a few opinions from those that already had DCs. Think I’ll book it in as soon as I’m able to which isn’t for another 4 weeks 😢

emoji · 21/06/2018 12:41

Ok, am I going mad or are there two Feb babies' threads running parallel to each other?

Which one is THE one?

My fellow small-age-gapper @MrsY87 is here so I might stay (waves 👋🏼)

This will technically be my 3rd baby after we suffered a late loss a few years ago but hopefully 2nd living DC. Have a 6 month old DD so there will be a 14 month age gap (not planned! Very unexpected but also very wanted). I'm 30. Live in Central London

emoji · 21/06/2018 12:45

Oh! I'm due 18th Feb I think

twiglet · 21/06/2018 12:59

I had my midwife booking appointment this morning midwife gave me an estimated due date of 27th Jan but said as I had been on the implant and hadn't really settled into a cycle fully since removing in Oct that it could be 2 weeks either side and the scan would be the definite.
I asked her about symptoms she said I'm either 8 weeks or it could be twins...... 😮
Next appointment is in 2 weeks and I should get a letter through for my scan date next week 🙂
