New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Notquiteagrandt my uterus is tilted to the back. My OB said it's so far back that it took a while to find it. Grin

Tumon · 02/07/2018 20:57

Thanks for all the welcomes ladies!
Been feeling rough (exhausted and just generally crappy) for the last week but now it seems I’ve got some sort of tummy bug Sad it started with very very low cramps but seems to have progressed
Called in sick to work today and (sorry!) but need to be near the loo all the time. I’m now worrying about what this could be doing to little raspberry in my belly! I didn’t have this with my first. Any advice? Trying to drink lots of water and rest. Can’t really stomach any food.

Babybeany · 02/07/2018 21:23

Massive veiny boobs!!!! 🤭

Yakadee · 02/07/2018 21:35

@Babybeany - I hear ya!! X

craftymum01 · 02/07/2018 23:52

@Tumon I have just gotten over a tummy bug. Thought it was just pregnancy diarrhoea at first but I had it for six days and no food seemed to help. I just drank loads of water and forced myself to eat banana sandwiches. That did help a little. Been very worried about what it has done to bean but from what I have read it shouldn’t affect it at all. Fingers crossed and hope you come out of it soon. It’s awful needing to be near a toilet all the time

petitfilous1 · 03/07/2018 07:56

Hi all,

I haven’t posted on here but empathising lots with the constant nausea, tiredness and headaches.

I’m 9+4 with first baby, due around 1st/2nd Feb. I don’t have a midwife appointment until the 17th and scan isn’t until the 26th so I’ve decided to pay for an early scan to put my mind at ease. I must be the most obvious pregnant person as I’m so unwell at work, looking forward to when the nausea settles!

AliceRR · 03/07/2018 08:12

Morning All

I don’t have the nausea too bad whichixed blessing as it’s horrible to feel sick all the time but slightly reassuring when your pregnant! I do feel a bit queasy most mornings and evenings and off my food.

This morning woke up and felt like I had NO ENERGY, so weak, does anyone else get that? Not just tired but weak. I had some juice for some energy and that made me feel like I might be sick but I wasn’t. A couple of ginger biscuits. I’m ok.

How is everyone else doing?

Welcome @petitfilous

Babybeany · 03/07/2018 08:31

Welcome @petitfilous1 gosh your first midwife and scan appointments are both quite a way off considering your nearly 10 weeks! When is your private early scan? X

Morning @AliceRR Yes, I get the weakness thing too. It might get worse for you first thing if you aren’t eating much dinner the night before? I am getting really weak and wobbly on my feet, mainly when I stand up. I can stand up slowly and I still wobble... I need to hold onto something for about 3 seconds normally before I walk on. X

Alicejj8x · 03/07/2018 09:07

Note:

Fresh orange juice isn't the one when it comes back up ConfusedEnvy

However banana is just fine!!

Oh god the things we talk about ahah

hayley013 · 03/07/2018 09:14

Yeah @AliceRR I feel so weak this morning, and I agree if I don't eat much the night before it's so much worse the next morning. Didn't have much tea last night and I've woke with an awful headache and dizziness when I stand up, I'm going back to bed for an hour. I'd been having a bowl of grapes before bed each night and didn't have any last night, so will be a trip to the shops this afternoon for sure!!

twiglet · 03/07/2018 09:26

Morning all another rough feeling day here the nausea has ramped up another knotch to wretching still not sick.
The dizzyness is probably low blood pressure I've had it for weeks as I naturally have low pressure anyway just made worse..... Try increasing your salt content it can help slightly.

petitfilous1 · 03/07/2018 09:57

Hi Babybeany, my private scan is on Sunday so I'll be 10+2 then.
From reading everyone else's comments it looks like mine is a lot further away so I was getting impatient for some reassurance! So far I've only seen a Health Care Assistant which wasn't very helpful so keen to get the ball rolling!

AliceRR · 03/07/2018 10:40

I don’t eat very much on an evening to be honest. Yesterday afternoon I ate a lot of sugary foods though and had a mini milk after my small amount of dinner so thought I might be better. Need to try harder to eat properly.

Right now I’m eating rock that my colleague bought for me from Blackpool. I feel wide awake and not nauseous so I’m just going to keep eating 🙂

Haven’t generally eaten a lot of sweet food though

thismeansnothing · 03/07/2018 10:48

Hi ladies. Tentatively tentatively hopping on board.

Just got a bfp that popped up in about 30s so no denying that. I'm 33. This will be dc2 DD is 6. Had a miscarriage and a big haematoma in 2016 at 10 weeks which I had a d&c for. Then 3 months later had an ectopic and the treatment for that was just awful. I'm terrified.

Done a due date calculator and got 28th feb and 6wks today.

Can't believe this is towards the end of a second thread already. You guys are chatty!

fizzledays · 03/07/2018 11:51

Nauseas and craving McDonald's...aahhhhh!! 🤣

maxiflump1 · 03/07/2018 13:45

Morning all! And welcome to those newcomers. I've just had my scan date through: Friday 27 at 8.30 in the morning! I will be 12+1. Scared, excited all in one!!

Anyone else wake up in a panic in the night because it’s hot and a bit sweaty? I keep leaping out of bed thinking I’m bleeding! Paranoia much?

I’m also absolutely shattered in the mornings and super hungry but trying to keep snacks healthy!

jeanzbeanz · 03/07/2018 14:23

@hannahetc yes I have had bleeding dreams / nightmares a couple of times. Not pleasant but quite a relief when you realise it was only a dream!

To those who were saying they were dizzy earlier - me too. I black out pretty much every time I stand up. Am learning to stand up slowly and hold onto something until I can see again! I usually have low blood pressure but when the MW checked it 2 wks ago she said it was normal 🤔

Not sure if it's a coincidence but I seem to be having a better day today, have been taking the Nux vom regularly. Am exhausted now though and about to have a little nap!

Alicejj8x · 03/07/2018 14:40

Does anyone else have a sicky lump in the back of their throat?

I had this earlier and was sick but I'm not sure if it's down to morning sickness as I don't exactly feel sick but it's just there
Google said it could be heart burn or reflux?

MamaSarai · 03/07/2018 14:42

Afternoon all ☺️ glad you're having a better day @jeanzbeanz!

Exciting news about your scan @maxiflump! Ours is booked for 16th July when I'll either be 9+2 if I believe the early scan dates or 11+2 if I go by the midwife 😂. If I'm too early I'm hoping they'll just ask us back in a few weeks 🤞🏻.

Interesting one out there for anyone feeling particularly tired and weak, breathless etc. I've just had a call from the midwife to tell me my iron levels are too low and they're wanting me to go on a course of iron tablets for a few weeks.

I wasn't particularly aware of anything being wrong - I have been v tired but attributed that to getting over a cold and being pregnant.

Just something to bear in mind if you're feeling particularly out of it - apparently it's quite common according to google 🤷🏻‍♀️.

AliceRR · 03/07/2018 14:45

MamaSarai yes I posted separately about being exhausted and someone commented to say it could be low iron but then lots of women said their iron was fine and they were exhausted too!

MamaSarai · 03/07/2018 14:56

Ahh sorry @AliceRR this thread moves so fast it's hard to keep up, missed that post! Hope you're feeling a bit less tired now?

Fatigue does seem to be pretty common one way or the other, but as a first timer I had no idea about the issues associated with iron deficiency Smile

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 03/07/2018 15:23

My nausea has progressed to full on throwing up the last few days... I was late for work today as I couldn’t brush my teeth without being sick, no way am I leaving the house not washed! 🤢

I’m actually a little bit glad though, as it does relieve the nausea for an hour or so afterwards!

fizzledays · 03/07/2018 15:32

@hannahetc I am doing the exact same!! Anytime I feel maybe "wet" down there I run to toilets 🙈 horrible feeling!!

sunflower197443 · 03/07/2018 16:09

@thismeansnothing Welcome on board and congratulations on your pregnancy.

My due date is also 28th February and I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. I've had 5 miscarriages in the last 3 years and hoping that this one is for keeps.

My symptoms are: painful breasts, cramping and nausea on and off. I'm finding that walking is helping my cramps as I don't get it when I'm moving around.
