New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

Hey guys, just catching up, been a hot one today, I've just sat down and don't think I'll get up 😂

@Babybeany we're hanging on till 12 week scan.

Welcome @Tumon I'm also sharing the nervousness of coping with 2! 😬 not sure why as people have lots of children and love it, but I just find it daunting.

Welcome @karyyy and @DryIce and congrats!

My nausea seems to be settling down, which I find odd as with my dd it just got worse and worse until 15 weeks, I'm not worried though as it's still there mildly and boobs are killing! The exhaustion is tough but I think the heat is contributing xx

Fredthespider · 01/07/2018 20:43

@Yakadee I did think it was weird that you hadn't posted in ages!! I was internetless for a week whilst we moved so didn't keep up with the thread. Scan is on the 24th, so not too long to wait :)

Yakadee · 01/07/2018 20:45

Haha, just fancied a change! Mineson 23/07 - can't wait! How're you feeling? X

hannahetc · 01/07/2018 23:57

Hi everyone, I’m 36, 8 weeks + EDD 10th feb.

I’m a bit of a lurker in this group. I posted a few times in the previous group but have had a bit of a rocky start to pregnancy. I had a small bleed early on and got referred to EPU by my lovey GP. There we saw a gestational sac and yolk sac but no baby so was told it might be too early and to come back in 2 weeks.

In between scans I had a massive bleed, for days, totally convinced it was a mc. Took a preg test the morning of the 2nd scan and it came back a really strong positive so off we trotted to EPU again. We were so convinced there would be nothing there that my husband didn’t even come in with me. However there was a little blob with a heartbeat; I’d bled on the left side and it was on the right.

TL:DR I’m still pregnant and a bit terrified. No nausea but shattered and sore boobs. Midwife app on 9th July.

Sugarmonkey · 02/07/2018 06:53

Welcome @hannahetc.
I'm 36 and have the same edd. Glad you're scan went well. X

Babybeany · 02/07/2018 07:19

Hi @hannahetc what a terrifying start for you! Welcome to the thread x

AliceRR · 02/07/2018 08:20

Hi everyone

It is warm today isn’t it?! I like it but sitting on the train a bit warm and neauseous contemplating what i might be able to eat...

I have had quite sore boobs Alice (have had sore nipples from the start but worse the last couple of days I would say) and had headaches too.

8 weeks today for me - the weeks are ticking by

gingerlou84 · 02/07/2018 08:34

Hello all! Congratulations to everyone! I’m a bit of a lurker here. 6+4 I think. Had a bit of a scare last week with some spotting (I know this can be normal but I didn’t have it with my son). The doctor didn’t do a scan but didn’t seem overly worried so it’s just a horrid waiting game until the 12 week scan. This time really does drag, doesn’t it? Any other mummies based in the Cambridge area? X

bubblybrit · 02/07/2018 08:38

Is anyone else dreading work? I am absolutely exhausted today (not sleeping well due to the heat) plus already feeling nauseous! 😢 want to crawl under my duvet and hide!

gingerlou84 · 02/07/2018 08:48

Yes, definitely dreading work. I have a 2 hour commute each way which I think I dread more than the work itself! Desperately waiting for my baby on board badge as there aren’t always seats. Thankfully someone kind gave me one today as I obviously looked a bit green!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 02/07/2018 08:49

I’m struggling to get to work... I’ve thrown everything up this morning already.. and I just feel wobbly ☹️

Trying another banana now, but I don’t think it’s going to stay down, I can’t afford a day off 😩😩

twiglet · 02/07/2018 09:07

Glad it's not just me today I'm very rough neusea was far worse this morning than usual even my iced latte coop drink which usually helps me to function didn't work. Trying to slowly eat avacado and corn cakes but its not sitting well.
It's only 9am and I have no idea how I'm going to survive til 5!

Fredthespider · 02/07/2018 09:18

@Yakadee oooh exciting! I’m feeling better than I thought I would, but still quite rotten at times. I love the hot weather usually but I am struggling. How are you getting on? This is number one for me, I can’t imagine having to look after another little one at the same time!

Fredthespider · 02/07/2018 09:21

(Oh wow I’m slow to reply, lots of messages this morning!)

I’m already at work, thankfully it’s a short commute, but lots of speed bumps and I’ve found I have to support my boobs going over them 😳. Downside is my office is already 25c with no air conditioning. Luckily there is a little breeze so I’m feeling cooler than I have done in here.

Alicejj8x · 02/07/2018 09:54

I'm at the doctors ready for my first appointment you have when you tell them
Your preg. Here's to see what they say about Midwife

Feeling slightly ok today which is then slightly worrying

hayleyfx · 02/07/2018 10:24

Little tip for anyone - jelly is the best thing I’ve thrown up so far (sorry this is tmi haha) it doesn’t hurt to come back up or taste gross. I’m forcing myself to eat a small tub every morning now as it makes vomiting more pleasant 🤣

gingerlou84 · 02/07/2018 10:29

Hope the appointment goes ok Alice. Anyone struggling with headaches? Any tips for getting rid of them?

Yakadee · 02/07/2018 10:54

@Fredthespider - I actually had a really good day yesterday with absolutely no nauseous at all! Had some this morning though but thankfully feel better. I'm off work for the next two weeks so we're doing loads of family stuff (I already have a 2yo boy😊) - just on our way to the seaside! X

jeanzbeanz · 02/07/2018 11:01

Loving these updates from the Ovia app 😍

I had a better day on Friday and Saturday but felt sick literally all day yesterday. Hoping today will be better.

Seafoodeatit · 02/07/2018 11:29

I agree, the ovia app is brilliant! :)

Alicejj8x · 02/07/2018 11:50

Thank you appointment went well :)

However I just poas just to check lol and the control line is now darker than the test line I'll include a pic but is this bad?!

Freaking out slightly

Due February 2019 part 2
Fredthespider · 02/07/2018 12:04

Also a big fan of the Ovia app, I changed the theme to weird-but-cute animals, but I do flick through them all each time the week ticks over to see what the other ones are.

twiglet · 02/07/2018 12:04

@alicejj8x don't freak out you will be drinking alot more water and going to the loo more so you will be diluting it's still very clear.

jeanzbeanz · 02/07/2018 12:24

@Fredthespider haha yes I do that too!

AliceRR · 02/07/2018 12:31

@Ginger I have had headaches. I am trying to not take any painkillers at all so just trying to make sure I have enough sleep and drink enough although I feel like I’m not drinking very much to be honest!
