New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

@twiglet non alcoholic gin?! Where do you get that from?! I can see a google for this coming on!! X

twiglet · 01/07/2018 09:57

@babybeany it's called seedlip, I think larger tescos sell it there is a herbal one which is the cucumber one and a spice one which I'm assume will be similar to Ophir gin.

ClaireLouise82 · 01/07/2018 10:02

@seafoodeatit - fingers crossed for you. I'm sure spotting in early pregnancy is pretty common but always best to get these things checked out xx

@Babybeany @twiglet - I tried that non alcoholic gin last weekend and was really impressed with it and it actually did taste like a G &T. I don't like the non alcoholic wines at all I think are too sweet so I'm really pleased I found this. I'm planning on buying a bottle today, I think you can get it from Tesco. I have been missing having a drink at the weekend especially in this lovely weather xx

ronniemipperton · 01/07/2018 10:12

My top tip is shandy - a bottle of whatever non-alcoholic beer (nearly all pubs have Becks Blue) topped up to a pint with lemonade.

I do like Seedlip but it’s so expensive and goes so fast!

jeanzbeanz · 01/07/2018 11:37

I got my scan date through for 16th July. Really chuffed it's so soon, but I think I'll only be 10+3 then according to my dates. Isn't that too early for them to do the nuchal translucency test? I guess if they can't do it then I'll get to have another.

Just vomited weetabix through my nose 😂🤢 but I didn't retch all day yesterday, so I'm hoping that my nausea is improving now I'm past 8 weeks!

Yakadee · 01/07/2018 12:14

I woke up today feeling the best I've felt in weeks! Haven't felt sick at all yet! Xx

Fredthespider · 01/07/2018 12:21

@Jeanzbeanz you just made me LOL at the weetabix, sorry, it must have been awful for you at the time, but at least you can laugh about it now. You're right that I think you need to be 11+2 for the scan, but fingers crossed that just means you get another one later on ;-)

We've now moved house, had the booking appointment and got the scan date for the 24th July. The move was a lot harder on me that I'd expected, even though we had a removal company. Midwife says I have low blood pressure, coupled with the heat, nausea and just not stopping doing stuff it's taken a little while to recover properly and feel a bit more normal!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 01/07/2018 12:42

I’ve got my nuchal translucency booked for Friday... I’ve no idea why they’ve done that as I got the letter before I’d seen the midwife or told anyone my dates 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll be 7+5 on Friday... way too early! Midwife has said to keep the appointment and use it as a reassurance scan as they’ll need to rebook it.

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 12:50

I’ll take a look at that seedlip @twiglet thanks! Might save it for a special occasion as it looks quite pricey...

I don’t like the non alcoholic wines either @ClaireLouise82 they taste revolting to me!

@ronniemipperton The shandy idea is a goodun! Becks blue on its own can be a bit bitter.... also I don’t like the smell, does it remind anyone else of weed?! 🤭 x

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 12:51

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking fx for your scan on Friday! How exciting for you! Xxx

AliceRR · 01/07/2018 12:57

@babybeany @lanalawr I am waiting for 12 week scan too. My first MW appt is also at 10 week’s but I called the MW and they said first scan would be 12-14 weeks

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 13:08

@AliceRR it’s nice to know we’re all on the same time scale. 💖

Tumon · 01/07/2018 13:10

Hi ladies- congrats to you all:) Hope it’s ok I join the fun
Aged 35, have one DS who is 22 months (Very nervous about coping with 2!!) EDD Feb 14th, London.
Scan July 30th
Been feeling good but very very sleepy 💤

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 13:30

Welcome @Tumon a valentine’s bubba! How lovely x

MamaSarai · 01/07/2018 14:38

Hello all, hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Been sat in the garden a lot because of the weather but the neighbours have a bbq basically every day! Anyone know if there’s any danger with bbq smoke? It’s not loads but I can smell it so feel like there could be some risk - google doesn’t seem to suggest one way or the other 🤷🏻‍♀️

FrowningFlamingo · 01/07/2018 15:23

MamaSarai I hope not as we had a party yesterday and had a bbq lit for most of the day :/ kept away as best I could.
I've still been feeling pretty good. Quite nauseous from about 8-10 a fleeting nausea other times but no vomiting. Feeling less tired than I was too - though I definitely feel it if I've been overdoing it!
Welcome Tumon!

MamaSarai · 01/07/2018 15:52

@FrowningFlamingo I’m sure its ok, I mean it’s not like I’ve been sticking my head over the bbq 😂. I don’t know if it’s a combination of Pregnancy Nose and the weather but everything seems to smell more potent - chemicals, fumes, bbq smoke etc which is probably what’s making me notice it more. Just so conscious of what I’m breathing in at the moment!!

Ditto on the symptoms - seems to be Day on, day off with the nausea for me. Yesterday we went out and ran errands for a few hours and I was just exhausted when we came home, don’t think the weather is helping (although not complaining, honest 😂)

Alicejj8x · 01/07/2018 16:38

How's everyone doing in this heat?..

My nausea has been bad today on and off not been sick but feeling sick and then feeling
Ok etc etc

Has anyone else's boobs feel very tender and almost bruised? And feeling abit bruised around the hip area?

Alicejj8x · 01/07/2018 16:40

@booxox
Wednesday isn't too long
To wait hun and it'll come round so fast :) keep us all
Updated and I have everything crossed for you!

It is so hard your right to know if everything
Is ok and what's going
On in in there just got to have hope and faith that everything
Is ok. And like you say symptoms hopefully mean
Everything
Is progressing like
And how it should :) with my last two pregnancies that ended in MC i hardly had any signs of pregnancy really but this time
I feel I have it all!! Cxx

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 01/07/2018 17:06

I am so over feeling sick.. it’s relentless, it wakes me up about 5ish and it’s there till I go to sleep. Very occasionally I get an hour of not feeling ill... and it’s lovely!!

I’ve only actually thrown up a couple of times but this nausea is killing me! There had better be a baby in there to be feeling this rubbish 😩

hayleyfx · 01/07/2018 17:20

@Alicejj8x I’ve been staying inside all day avoiding the sun, it makes me feel so much worse!

Everyone feeling sick, I understand. I’ve vomited so much this past week, it’s quite worrying when every meal you eat comes right back up - making me feel pretty weak and dizzy. I’m 5lbs down now but almost 9 weeks so it might be reaching it’s peak 😬

Seafoodeatit · 01/07/2018 17:30

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking Good luck for your scan on friday!

@Tumon Welcome and congratulations!

After saying I wasn't going to have a scan I booked and had one today, the panic over spotting was really upsetting me, you can't see a lot but she said you could see where the bleeding was coming from - 'a heterogeneous area' it says on my report, she said it looked small and should resolve but now I'm paranoid over that!

You can see the baby and the yolk sac in the photo, she said baby measured at 7 + 3 which is 3 days less than I thought so not far off.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 01/07/2018 17:43

@seafoodeatit you must feel so much better! Lovely scan photo 👌

@hayleyfx what is this aversion to the sun all about? I am usually a complete sun worshipper.. I will happily lay out in it from sun up till sun down, but it just makes me feel even sicker than normal... 😩

Koalatom1 · 01/07/2018 17:51

Has anyone been suffering from headaches?! Plus nausea makes me really sleepy. Feel like I’ve wasted the good weather inside trying to relax and not do too much 😩
Can’t wait for the 2nd trimester. But then I’ll be complaining about the lack of symptoms!

I’m not sure if I’ve said on this thread but there’s a fb group if anyone wants adding. Just pm me your email ☺️

jeanzbeanz · 01/07/2018 17:52

Yesss I also usually really enjoy spending a couple of hours in the sun but can't bear it at the moment 🙄 such a waste
