New thread for those ladies due in February 2019. As there is so many of us though we could do with a roll call. If I start hopefully the next can cut and paste and we can have a list of everyone!

@fizzledays congrats! So lovely. It really is the best feeling isn’t it 😊

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking as other ladies have said, from what I’ve heard that can be totally normal! It seems pretty common actually and brown does mean it’s old not new. I hope your scan on Friday goes well and puts your mind at ease. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Being sick quite a lot now, keeping food down is a challenge 🤢 The actual vomiting doesn’t really bother me but worried that I’m not getting enough nutrients and water. Having to take my prenatal vitamin before bed now as throwing up in the morning is practically a guarantee and usually after lunch too haha!

Melissa1stmommy · 30/06/2018 17:37

Hello all iam also due feb 2019 this is my first time ever being pregnant me and my bf has been trying for a while and it came when we stopped trying don't know how to feel and very anxious I've been overly emotional and may be a group like this one can help me with the stress and to remain positive hope to get feedback Smile

fizzledays · 30/06/2018 17:42

@clairehr @Alicejj8x @hayleyfx thanks so much! It honestly didn't feel real until I saw it, kept thinking all my mad symptoms could be something else. A way to go yet, but feeling a bit more confident at this stage :)

somethingfromnothing · 30/06/2018 17:42

@notasgreenascabbagelooking I’ve has spotting on and off and at my scan they could see an area of bleeding underneath the pregnancy. The midwife wasn’t bothered about it and said I’d probably spot some more. I’ve had 6 loses so know how you feel and I panic every time I see the spotting.

Melissa1stmommy · 30/06/2018 17:43

That's how iam I have not got to see it yet so it's like I think about all possibilities maybe once I actually get to see my baby I will be ok

Melissa1stmommy · 30/06/2018 17:56

Ok well thanks for talking back y'all have a blessed day

Alicejj8x · 30/06/2018 18:02

@Melissa1stmommy
I am
Sure no one meant it in a bad way to not comment back? Not everyone is on this thread 24/7 Hun & when people can they will always say congrats

But congrats :) I hope everything goes well for you so exciting isn't it :)

booxox · 30/06/2018 19:02

@ClaireLouise82 thank you so much for your reply, sorry I haven't said thank you sooner! I'm so nervous about it. I'm just desperate to know everything is ok. I'm surprised its so quick! I thought it would be at least an hour! I can't wait to have pictures and videos, I think it will all seem a lot more real then.

@Melissa1stmommy congratulations! How are you feeling?

How is everyone feeling today? I've been at work since 8.30 this morning and don't finish until 10 tonight. I really craved a curry earlier so my bf bought me up one... however, it didn't end well... now I just feel terrible but still hungry haha. Anyone got any tips? xx

Alicejj8x · 30/06/2018 19:13

@booxox

Oh wow that's a long shift! I hope it
Goes fast for you

Today all I've felt is extreme exhaustion I just feel so shattered but nausea has died down today so hope that's ok. Boobs have suddenly grown thou lol!

Hope your ok after your curry xxx

booxox · 30/06/2018 19:28

@Alicejj8x thank you! It seems to be going pretty quick so far. I keep thinking it's only only 3.5 hours to go until I can go to bed haha! Have you had a good day?

I'm exactly the same. Wish my boobs would grow a bit though! I haven't been feeling particularly nauseous until today, I've been quite lucky but now I feel awful :( apparently ginger biscuits help so my plan is to eat my body weight in them whilst I watch desperate housewives when I get home 😂🐷 xx

Alicejj8x · 30/06/2018 19:44

@booxox
You can do this!!! It'll fly now hopefully lol

Yes had a pretty good day thank you :)

Ahh no I hope it isn't too bad for you lol. Yes I've heard the same about ginger biscuits. If my nausea comes back I'll be stocking up on them lol!

So hard isn't it as one day you can feel ok and the next back to feeling rubbish xx

booxox · 30/06/2018 19:55

@Alicejj8x haha, I hope so!

I looked on google and it suggests that it doesn't last too long only a couple of weeks so I'm optimistic haha! This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what to expect. Haha, I'll let you know how they go later.. 😂

It really is, there are days when I don't feel pregnant at all and others where I swear all I want to do is hibernate. Have you told anyone your expecting? I'm not sure when would be best to tell my family xx

Alicejj8x · 30/06/2018 20:37

@booxox
Yes let me know how they go lol

I am the exact same if it wasn't for the positive lines and the recent scan I had I wouldn't know I was preg some days although this past week has been the hardest with symptoms!!

We can dooo this!!! Have you got any scans booked in? Or have o asked this before it's hard to know what's already been said isn't it lol

Hmm coz we've had 2 previous MC we won't be telling anyone till that 12 week scan! It's a hard one isn't it when
To tell ppl but I guess whenever you feel you want to Hun xxx

ClaireLouise82 · 30/06/2018 20:55

@fizzledays - congratulations on your scan. So glad everything was ok xx

@booxox - the early scans may last longer at other places but I guess as they are still so tiny there's not much to see at the moment. The 20 week one lasts quite a long time as they are doing all the checks to make sure baby is healthy. I did go for a 3D scan in my first pregnancy as well and that lasted quite a long time and was pretty amazing as you get to see what the baby looks like. I think I'll definitely go for that again this time. Fingers crossed everything goes well with your scan xx

I'm feeling pretty exhausted today to be honest didn't get a great nights sleep last night and I have come to the conclusion that the less sleep I get the hungrier I am so have spent a lot of the day eating - think the eating for 2 has started early for me lol xx

booxox · 30/06/2018 21:16

@Alicejj8x it's so hard to know everything is ok. I'm just desperate to know that the baby is growing as it should be and in the right place. I guess I'm just panicking surely having more symptoms must mean everything is progressing? I have one booked in for Wednesday morning. Can't wait! Haha, don't worry! It's hard to keep up with all the posts haha!

Yeah I don't want to jinx it but would quite like my parents and sister to know guess I'll have to wait until Wednesday and see. My bf is from Australia so I think he's going to wait until 12 weeks to tell his family but I'm awful at keeping secrets and just bursting to tell people. 🙈

@ClaireLouise82 I'm so new to all this haha, thank you for explaining it! I really want a 3D scan, how many weeks were you when you had it if you don't mind me asking? Hope you get a better night sleep tonight!

xx

ClaireLouise82 · 30/06/2018 21:55

@booxox - no problem at all. It's been a while for me to be honest as my little boy is now 6 so I'm having to think back to remember everything. I was 28 weeks when I had my 3D scan, I think they recommend between 22 and 32 weeks. I think I went for 28 as it seemed a good distance between the 20 week scan and having him. I would definitely recommend it - it gives you something to look forward to after the 20 week scan too as you don't usually have any other scans after that one. Thank you - I'm in bed already watching TV so having a pretty chilled out evening. Hope you can relax when you finish work xx

seafoodeatit · 01/07/2018 07:43

I've woken up to more spotting this morning, this time I haven't done anything to cause it so I'll probably call up and ask for advice, I wish I could just brush it off but spotting always terrifies me.

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 08:26

@seafoodeatit everything I have read about spotting has basically suggested that it is fairly normal but to get checked out regardless. Fx everything is all ok in there for you. X

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 08:35

I’m one day off from reaching week 7! Every week seems like an achievement and it’s so exciting reading what baby will do/grow next. I love looking at the pictures of the embryo online too. I have decided to wait until my 12 week scan now. I can’t afford a private one. My gp suggested I lie and say I have spotting so they can refer me to the epu but I don’t want to tempt fate after a mmc last time. Is anyone else waiting until the 12 week scan?
Anyone else craving a glass of wine yet? I have been fine the entire time, in fact it has been the last thing I have wanted. Until yesterday! I reckon I could’ve polished off a bottle in the beer garden yesterday. Getting a little tired of becks blue and fruit juices. 🤭🤣

Littleonek · 01/07/2018 08:55

Is anyone else has an increase in feeling sick since they passed week 7?

Ive been having constant morning sickness all day since Thursday. Currently on honeymoon and climbing up a volcano and exploring pompeii whilst feeling constantly sick was hard work.

Polo mints and ginger biscuits work wonders for sickness if anyone else is struggling.

lanalawr · 01/07/2018 08:58

@Babybeany We're waiting until the 12 week scan too. Moving house at the moment and don't think we could justify a private early scan. Got my midwife appointment at 10 weeks and the scan will be booked then. Not sure what the waiting list is like here but I'm doubtful that the scan will be at 12 weeks - it seems too short a waiting time between 10 and 12.

Hope everyone is feeling ok today. For those of you without symptoms, please try not to worry. It's just as normal as having nausea.

seafoodeatit · 01/07/2018 09:02

@babybeany thank you, I'm trying not to panic but it's hard to not let the fear get overwhelming. The EPU is shut at the weekends, I'll see what happens tomorrow and if nothing I'll wait until my booking in app on Tuesday. I'm waiting til 12 weeks too unless I have a scan at EPU at any point.

seafoodeatit · 01/07/2018 09:06

@Lanalawr good luck with the house move! We moved last year when I was 6 months pregnant, make sure you get as much rest as possible, moving is hard work.

@Littleonek enjoy your honeymoon! Pompeii sounds very exciting.

twiglet · 01/07/2018 09:19

@babybeany we are waiting until the 12 week scan date for mine has been set at 16th which by my reckoning I will be 10-11 weeks but midwife couldn't go on my unpredictable cycle lengths so she used 28 days rather than about 42....

My DH bought me a bottle of non alcoholic gin so I could have adult drinks at a friend's bbq (and not give the game away) it's not the cheapest but you make it up like a gnt so it lasts. Tastes like a very cucumber gin just zero booze content.

We have told parents and a few close friends as they twigged something was up when I no longer wanted to go climbing for several weeks in a row.

Babybeany · 01/07/2018 09:23

@lanalawr I think I read that the first scan is normally before 14 weeks so they can test for Down syndrome. I guess I would query it at your first appointment. My first scan is closer to 13 weeks than 12. It seems like a
Lifetime away!

@seafoodeatit perhaps take yourself to the epu tomorrow regardless just to pop your mind at rest x
