Has anyone developed insomnia? My symptoms have reduced over the last day or so - cramping now very mild, tired but not to the extreme etc. Fine with this given that a lot of you ladies are experiencing the same thing. However last night and this evening I literally cannot sleep. Don’t feel sleepy at all 😢 got a really big day at work tomorrow and know I’ll be knackered when the alarm goes off!

I've got my scan this morning at 9! I'm so so nervous
I've just had my first actual morning sickness this morning I don't know if that's nerves, me over thinking I feel sick but I am trying to go with that baby has just given me a sign that they are still here and all is well :/

Good luck @Alicejj8x hopefully the morning sickness is a good sign! I've got my scan today too but it isn't til 4.30...it's going to be a long day waiting!

@bubblybrit I'm struggling with sleeping. I'm exhausted by 3pm and if I nap I can't sleep on the night, if I don't nap I fall asleep ok but wake up 4/5am wide awake, same has happened this morning and I could easily sleep now, typical xx

Yes @bubblybrit I'm sleeping less than I EVER have!! Might be to do with the heat, but also I'm just not sleeping anything like as much as I always have. Exhausting!!

@bubblybrit I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable at night and having trouble sleeping as a result. Last few nights I have had very restless legs so struggled to stay comfortable and last night also I felt I had indigestion or heartburn or trapped wind or something (I don’t even know what it was).

DH and I have been sleeping separately and find we sleep much better that way but last night he came to bed for cuddles which was lovely but I don’t think we slept as well!

@Captainchaos8 I’m so sorry. I hope you’re okay. Sending hugs and wish you the best of luck for the future

@hayley013. Yes I tend to be exhausted at the worst time at work. Although I’m not fatigued like I was over the last 7-10 days which is kinda worrying !

@Babybeany & @fizzledays. Oh I never thought of the heat. Maybe that is the reason....not feeling tired right now although hardly slept. Sure I’ll crash just before I’m due to give a presentation to senior management

@AliceRR. Cramps used to keep me awake at night but have had hardly any cramps over the last few days. Hardly feel pregnant at all. It’s mainly sore boobs and slight nausea when I don’t eat at the moment. Scan not until 21st July so fingers crossed all ok. Oh I second sleeping separately at the moment! DH needs his sleep so no point in me keeping him up all night

Now, I'll admit I'm not the skinniest of people, but honestly the last 2 weeks this small rubber tyre I had around my middle has turned into a 4 wheel drive extra large tyre! Just bloating? Body adjusting? Anyone else? Struggling with clothes and using different holes in belts currently 6+3

Yesss I am looking very pregnant I'm sure. Very limited in what I can wear, not helped by not wanting to wear anything with a waistband. So basically all I can wear is baggy dresses.

So many of you ladies seem to be having some relief from symptoms. Is anyone like me and finding their nausea getting worse and worse?! I'm 7+3

fizzledays Not alone. I am deffiantly noticibly bigger. And it is not bloating as it is low down. I am small build anyways, naturally skinny. But I can see the outline of a small bump. Defiantly all baby and not bloat.

I am already putting all my jeans away as they longer fit. Deffiantly having to give thought to daily outfits. Around what fits.

Soooo....
Had my scan and we saw a heart beat :)
They are saying I'm around the 5 week mark ( which does Match up to when I thought I ovulated)..
they seem very happy with how everything looks she said it's in the correct place but main thing was the heart beat :)

Then had a chat with my fertility nurse and she seemed happy she said she wants to scan me again in 2 week so the 11th July ( as they like to do this at the clinic) and just wanted to check everything is progressing as it should do, she said obv at the mo my last period date I should be further along but coz I know I ovulated late I think this is why I'm later than they have put in my notes?
She said only to them it could make them think things aren't progressing but last time this was the case I was 2 weeks out from what the notes were saying and things developed how they should but then sadly Mc
So do you think this is an ok sign as I know I ovulated later??

Good news with the scan Alice!

I’m 8 weeks today and feeling reassuringly nauseated still. Busy at work and struggling a bit. DH away all week so got the toddler to contend with too and that’s been no fun with the heat!!

Got a scan booked for Saturday when I’ll be 8+3 so hoping to see something vaguely baby like!!

@Alicejj8x lovely news! I bet it’s so reassuring to hear that heartbeat?! I wouldn’t obsess over dates at the moment. Just be confident in your scan from today.
I am 6+2 today. Still had no word from my midwife even though I have my 12 week scan booked in. Has everyone else heard from midwife? Wondering whether to call the practice or give it a bit more time x

@fizzledays me too, I’m 8+1 and all I can wear is leggings right now, nothing else is comfortable. I’m so bloated despite hardly eating. Tried to put shorts on today as it’s roasting outside but they pressed into my stomach too much haha.

Anyone else feeling really uncomfortable in this heat? It’s 27 degrees outside, feel like I’m abroad!

@Alicejj8x congrats! I’m so glad everything went well and how lovely to see the heartbeat. Also if you know you ovulated late then I’m sure everything is developing perfectly, they just go by a ‘normal’ 28 day cycle but of course not everyone has them. My midwife has my EDD a few days ahead at 2nd Feb but it’s actually the 5th as my cycle is 31 days long. So I’m just going with what I think and what the scan said 😊

@hayleyfx @Notquiteagandt @jeanzbeanz so glad not just me!! It's just a bulge right under belly button but then flat underneath again. I haven't been eating any more than usual I don't think (healthier in fact!), been lucky no sickness just nausea once a day at varying levels...it's mad! Definitely having to rethink clothes already!!

@fizzledays I'm on DC2 and already my jeans won't do up! Back in leggings and maternity tops.
