@AGirlinLondon @Gemsie1984 love that we're all close!! I used to work in Clapham (many years ago) and Richmond used to be our hang out spot!! Either the orange tree (a few friends worked there) or the bars in the river. Haha small world.

Welcome @Littlebump2018 congrats on your new due date. Xx

0lgaDaPolga · 20/06/2018 09:19

Gemsie, I think I’ve found you on fb and have sent a message. If not I’ve really confused another Gemma 🙈

Anyone else wanting to join the fb group, on this message here there should be 3 little dots at the side. If you click on them you should be able to send me a pm and I’ll be able to add you.

marthvader · 20/06/2018 09:28

@AGirlinLondon I'm in Twickenham, also at West Middlesex hospital 🤗

Will add my details to the Google Doc now!

Gemsie1984 · 20/06/2018 09:43

To those that live close.. I'd be up for meeting once baby is born for coffee etc.. it'd be really nice to meet people who have just had a baby and can relate to me as I'm the only one of my friends that are expecting at the moment and my social life has died since I became pregnant (tho in fairness I have turned into a hermit)

Decemberglee · 20/06/2018 09:50

Place marking! Will try and fill in the spreadsheet but due date 24/12!

Mamababynumber2 · 20/06/2018 10:27

Mamababynumber2 · 20/06/2018 10:31

DoAsDreamersDo · 20/06/2018 10:53

@mamababynumber2 I think I've added you on (I've added myself as well, so if i'm wrong for me I'm wrong for you two so sorry about that!!) x

MagicalCreatures · 20/06/2018 11:02

@JustVent where abouts in Brighton are you from. I forgot to ask the other day. (If you don’t mind me asking) I see your going to Hayward’s Heath hospital instead of the royal Sussex x

MagicalCreatures · 20/06/2018 11:03

I’m in Peacehaven x

Mamababynumber2 · 20/06/2018 11:30

Thank you Doasdreamersdo ! I can't see it updated but it could be my phone xx

JustVent · 20/06/2018 11:41

Yes I had my second baby in PRH and they are sublime. The whole ward was quiet, clean, I had instant access to birthing pool and the midwife only had me to see to.

The County is good but it’s SO busy, and totally different.

I put Brighton to remain a little bit anonymous but I’m actually in Lewes. So in the middle of the night (ie no traffic) in exactly 21 minutes drive from both the County and PRH, so I chose the latter. That’s if I even get there, my labour was only an hour long last time.

December2018 · 20/06/2018 11:53

Anybody got an itchy tummy?
It's like prickly heat all over.... no where else just on my tum? It's driving me maddddd

Gemsie1984 · 20/06/2018 12:13

I'm so excited, decided on a boy name!! And my OH likes it, yay! I cannot think of any girl names I like.. initially I liked Jasmine but my OH and son hated it :(

AGirlinLondon · 20/06/2018 12:14

Oh hey @marthvader - waving!! Smile let’s keep in touch about West mids - for me I feel it’s so far so good...x

DoAsDreamersDo · 20/06/2018 12:30

I can't decide on a girls name at all Gemsie We're certain of our boys name, but can't find a girls name that we both like. J

MagicalCreatures · 20/06/2018 12:58

@JustVent oh wow. Lewes. That really is just a country road drive away from me. I know what you mean. I was keeping anonymous at first but hey, who cares!!! I’ve already posted a picture of my entire name on here 😂 baby brain is definitely a thing!!!

Also, I’ve heard that princess royal is nice. Unfortunately from peacehaven the royal Sussex is only 10 minutes along the coast road. PRH took me 40 minutes to get too the other day for my emergency scan.
But the EPU at Brighton is where they treated me really badly whilst I went through my miscarriage so I refuse to go back to the EPU there x

JustVent · 20/06/2018 13:10

I’m sorry to hear you were treated badly there.
I lost my baby there but I was on the gynaecology ward because I was in my second trimester. They were pretty wonderful, but I’ve never experience the EPU.
I have experienced the nurses and sonographers at the EPU at PRH though and they were faultless with me. I was so grateful.
Perhaps we should meet up in a few weeks for a brew, since you are literally just down the road!

AaronPurrSir · 20/06/2018 13:45

futuredays hello fellow Devonian Smile

I’m jealous of those who are due later than me but already know the sex! My 20week scan is 3 weeks tomorrow and I can’t wait. Have you had private scans?

Stephisaur · 20/06/2018 13:48

Ladies, I just wanted to share that I ordered a Maternity dress from Seraphine the other day and it arrived today. It is STUNNING. It has loads of room to grow and I'm hoping it will do for the Weddings and Christenings I have coming up!

It was £99 but worth it, I would say.

Cakelaur · 20/06/2018 13:59

@Gemsie1984 I'd be 100% up for meeting!! I actually have a couple of good friends who have just given birth and my little sister is 6 weeks behind me. But always up for more friends. If you're in the Facebook group we can organise a London meet up. It'll get us all out the house!!

@Mamababynumber2 ooh you're only just down the a3!! 😊

This spread sheet is amazing!!

@Gemsie1984 and @DoAsDreamersDo we've got our girl name sorted Camilla Mae and I think we've got a boys name George Alexander BUT my last name is George (thus giving it to our first boy) but my name won't change until after the bub is born... and I think it's putting me off a bit. But we aren't going to rush to get married before baby arrives.

@MagicalCreatures I gave up playing the anonymous game a while back. I'm on the Facebook group and thought meh!!! Plus like you I posted the odd scan pic with name etc and I posted a blog into an mc group so cover = blown! Haha

Gemsie1984 · 20/06/2018 14:38

My boys name is Jack Anthony and maybe girls.. Leila Catherine (after my best friend who died at 26 from meningitis & my Nan who passed)

AGirlinLondon · 20/06/2018 15:58

Londoners I look forward to meeting all of you!!
