So my beauties, I have a tmi question for you all, amidst your very real worries (I apologise in advance)...

I can't get myself in the mood at all in this darn heat with a bump and hormones and hair everywhere that just grows and grows! I'm sweaty and gross and as much as my OH tries, he always manages to squash my bump or outrageously gigantic sore boobs. It's been 2 weeks since we last had sex and we're about to go camping with his family until next Monday which means we can basically write off the next week too. I wish I was in the mood but frankly I need a good way to make him feel loved and satisfied without sex. #pregnantinaheatwave 🙄 any advice or similar situations??

Haha @Goldilocks we’ve been told we can’t until after the baby is born because it’s too risky, so thinking the same

Oh god @AGirlinLondon that's rubbish!! Although it does make life a lot simpler in a way 😂 thanks for responding, I think most peoples sex lives go a bit haywire one way or the other when growing a tiny human 🤰🏼

@GoldilocksTheGraceless that's exactly how I've been feeling this pregnancy! I miss feeling intimate with my hubby but I really am not in the mood to do anything at all! It's strange as I was the complete opposite when pregnant with my first! The times we have had sex I just worry I may bleed after. Definitely anxious this pregnancy 🤪

Try and get some in now because once that bump comes things get a little more... comical! Enjoy it while it's easy! Our whole sex life towards the end was centred around the words "Damn bump!"

Lol well anyway! Pregnant sex and sore hips doesn't really go well together!
I'm in work and I'm literally walking like John Wayne with piles 😂😂

If it’s any consolation, my and DH haven’t had sex since conceiving. We’ve both been too scared too. But we find other ways to get close.
And to be honest I don’t know how we would anyway coz my bump is huge for 17 weeks and I’ve got so many growing pains I honestly have no idea what position to even try. 😂

Also I now have a pregnancy pillow which is like a full barrier between us in bed - it could be sponsored by nuns

I've completely gone off sex, and keep having sex dreams that are horrible. We're still managing it every couple of weeks, massively favoring the spoons position but have to keep reminding him to keep hands off boobs! I don't really fancy it to begin with but enjoy it when we get going. 😂

We had sex up to 9 weeks until he left lol
Think I miss that more than him haha
I'm 17 wks now when do u start feeling baby move cos I think I have...or maybe it's in my head haha

Our poor OHs... i would literally rather have a nice brew and a kitkat than sex.... or even a marsbar not too fussy at the moment 😜

I do like a cuddle tho only when I'm not too hot & flustered like 99.9% of the time ha!

Oh what a relief reading some of these! So glad it's not just me ... same thing happened in first preg, SPD hit at about 17 weeks and leg opening is just not pleasant! Same seems to be happening again but not as bad.

@AGirlinLondon pregnancy pillows are the best but yes they must feel a bit like barriers 😂

@balalalala I get where you're coming from with the scarring etc from a c section. I have horrible stretch marks from first pregnancy and have never really had a bikini body but the idea of more scarring is still upsetting. It's okay to feel whatever you feel, it's a complex time! If it helps I've heard less than ideal stories of emergency sections but all the stories from friends and family of planned sections have been really positive!

Gross start to my day and sorry TMI for those with a sensitive stomach (as do I).
It's the glorious school holidays and my darlings woke before me this morning. I woke 30 mins later and went to the loo to have a wee and what do I find? Diarrhoea everywhere. All over the floor, all on the seat of the toilet, up the back of the toilet and a poo/toilet wipe concoction in the toilet bowl and the cherry on top of the carnage was shitty underpants unceremoniously dumped on my national enquirer 😫
Cue a MASSIVE vomiting session from me as I try my best to sort out the shit-storm. My nose and stomach are too sensitive for these experiences now!!

We didn't have sex for the first 12 weeks cos I was petrified of losing again. But since then we prob go once a week. But this heat and OH has been working long hours, hasn't led to much sex. But we have a couple of holidays coming up. So 🤞🏻! I'm not too fussed either way! Haha.

@Gemsie1984 oh babe that sound HORRENDOUS!! Did you find the culprit?

Yep it was my son. Don't quite know how he managed.. he's fine in himself and happy as larry.. I said the least he could've done is put the boxers in the wash!

I also came home to shitageddon a couple of weeks back - the dog has a habit of eating things off the floor. Took nearly an hour to clean it up. Guess it’s good prep!

My dogs did a "poonami" yesterday
I told OH yesterday "please don't give the dogs those sausage rolls out of the fridge they don't agree with them! (They wait by the fridge for them, it's is bloody cute tho)
Came home and they where gone.... and later on that day there was a poo explosion all over the kitchen floor!
He still swears he didn't give them any sausage rolls.... hmmmm!
I think he's telling bloody fibs! 😂
One of them is a mastiff too! His turds are like rhino shits!
