Good luck to everyone having their 20 week scan this/next week :)

Thanks Emma! :) We had to go food shopping, boo, but we decided to go to France to make it a bit of a treat at least.

@peterpanwendy
My oh sis went into labour in March so she wrote me a list of what she used and what was necessary.
For baby she wrote and I have packed:
-2 blankets
-7-8 newborn vests
-7-8 sleepsuits (newborn/ 0-3 mix)
-1 pair of scratch mits
-1 pair of booties
-going home outfit
-1 hat
-2 packs baby wipes
-1 pack of newborn nappies
-5 muslins
-1 bib

Think she said 7-8 pieces of clothes as you never know how long you will be in. Best to be prepared

I’ve reported my last post due to personal details on the photos I put up. Here they are again without the details! 4D scan.. he’s perfect❤️

peterpanwendy · 17/06/2018 14:48

@BertieBotts I went to France for the day last Saturday and made sure to do a huge carrefour shop on the way home 😍

Emmasmum2013 · 17/06/2018 16:42

@NikkiL123
I love that furniture!! Looks lovely :)

@Gem173 awwww I love that he's smiling, so cute!!

I'm so excited for tonight. My DD is going for a sleepover at her nan's and we're off work tomorrow so I actually get a proper lie in!!! All I need is some wine haha.

We've had a good Father's Day. DH has had a relaxing day. Hope you're all having fun today!

Gem173 · 17/06/2018 18:34

@Emmasmum enjoy all the free time and your lovely lie in! I have to get up for work tomorrow at 5:20am like every other weekday 😩
Yesterday I walked up to the little row of shops near me, was okay going in and buying stuff then decided to walk around the block with oh and halfway home I got pelvic pain and could hardly walk! Don’t think it was baby related more like SPD sort of pains. Safe to say I’ve been slumming it on sofa this weekend and now dreading going to work!
And yeah I can’t stop looking at that photo his smile just makes everything so worth while💙

Gem173 · 17/06/2018 18:39

My boobs have just started leaking! First time ever! Does this happen for the rest of the pregnancy or will it stop start stop start sort of?

BeesKnees9 · 17/06/2018 19:03

Gem - mine have been leaking since about 24 weeks! Mostly happens in the evening/ when I sleep or if I bend over quite erm.. vigorously! But yes every day for me

Gem173 · 17/06/2018 19:06

@Beesnees9 I guess it’s one of the many pleasures of pregnancy

BertieBotts · 17/06/2018 20:00

Mine only leaked once in my whole pregnancy last time! I have had one drop the other night this time too so we'll see if it carries on or not.

peterpanwendy · 17/06/2018 20:24

@Gem173 mine have been leaking mainly in my sleep for a few weeks but not every night!

Oh and my cousin told me today she is expecting :) Our babies will have exactly the same age difference as us!! We've always had the kind of relationship where we didn't see each other very often but when we have seen each other we were thick as thieves so I am super super excited to do this with her! It's her first so I shall try my hardest not to give advice unless asked Grin but she wants to come and stay when LO is born so I'm looking forward to that as well. Yay! And I can't tell anyone but you lot don't count.

Gem173 · 18/06/2018 06:57

Ah well I’m keeping breast pads in just in case ! I cannot risk an accident at work it would be so obvious in my teal uniform! Lol
@Bertiebotts sounds like a great opportunity for the babies to bond! I can’t wait for my little one to meet his cousin, there will be only 5 months between them. Whenever I see my cousins who are 4 months older than me, you would swear we are sisters the way we chat and gossip and look out for eachother.

BertieBotts · 18/06/2018 09:55

Unfortunately we live really far from each other, but hopefully having DC around the same age will be a good excuse to get together more often. There are cheap flights between us luckily, but I haven't figured out how that works with a baby/toddler. And I wouldn't want DS1 to feel left out. But we'll see.

NikkiL123 · 18/06/2018 10:11

Maximum 10 weeks today i will have a baby boy in my arms! 🙊🙊🙊🙊 will be 2 weeks overdue if it goes the full 10 weeks!

Gem173 · 18/06/2018 10:13

Wow @NikkiL123 it goes by so fast! I want my baby now! I don’t want to wait any longer xx

peterpanwendy · 18/06/2018 16:43

Spoke to my midwife today about my anxiety. So glad I did I feel a bit better now. Worrying though as I have to go for a growth scan! I'm 30 weeks baby is measuring 32 x

OP posts:
Gem173 · 18/06/2018 16:51

@peterpanwendy I know it’s hard but try not to worry. I did but found that baby was fine anyway. Your body grows the way it wants too, not always does it fit within guidelines. Your belly may be a bit bigger but baby could be the correct size or you might have a little bit more fluid in there :) I’m hoping my belly will catch up haha I’m 30 weeks and am sure one of these days it will pop! If not then I’m okay with a smaller bump xx
