I wore wired bras when pregnant with DS. I am a 34GG. It is safe as long as the wire doesn't dig in anywhere. Whilst actually bf they just weren't practical for ease of access. I found the bras for bf to have good support despite no wire. I bf for nearly 2 years.

Wanttomakemincepies · 25/04/2018 18:26

December my sports bras are wired.

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 18:35

Had my first midwife appointment today at 5+6 and I asked about symptoms coming and going, she said that it's when you have a hormone surge they will be strong and when your body gets used to it it settles a little and repeats.
Hope everyone's ok x

December2018 · 25/04/2018 18:36

My ones haven't got a wire just an elasticated waistband that provides a bit of support but not too much that you can't move... think I got a few of mine from peacocks and Asda x

Mamababynumber2 · 25/04/2018 18:38

Thanks lolli that's good to know. I never thought about using a sportsbra. Great idea!
Does anyone else get excited when they go into a new week?
Also those who had an early scan and had different dates, are you going by the scan date or date from last period?

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 18:43

Yeah I do tonmorow in 6 weeks Shock Yey new week haha

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 18:44

Well your all lucky to have boobs I've got 32a Blush although now my nipples are bigger actually feel like somethings there lol

MagicalCreatures · 25/04/2018 18:47

@lolli18 I think we should start a ‘huge nipple’ club 😂

SunshineSparklesSmiles · 25/04/2018 18:55

Thank you all, might invest in a good sports bra then too. Have ordered another non wired one as the first one I bought just wasn't flattering unfortunately

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 18:57

@MagicalCreatures haha yeah we should pmsl. Kinda feel sorry for myself hahahahaha

Maggi85 · 25/04/2018 19:12

@lolli18 that’s good to know about symptoms coming and going helps to understand why xx
my early scan just said between 5-6 when I thought I was 6 weeks bang on I think it’s that early it can be accurate yet so at mo I’m sticking with 19th Dec due xx

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 19:15

I'm due 20th too and have my first scan on Tuesday Grin Yey!!

balalalala · 25/04/2018 19:20

I never went back to underwired bras after the first baby! I like the comfort ones from m&s!

December2018 · 25/04/2018 19:33

Yeah I'm all about the comfort at the min... and I get super exited about buying pjs and comfy slippers too haha!
Yessss I will also be part of the giant nipple club mine are like massive sore frisbys! I can't even look at them never mind touch them
My OH keeps trying to have a sneaky grab!i swear I nearly punched him by accident before because he got me totally unexpected 😂😂

lolli18 · 25/04/2018 19:37

Hahaha @December2018

MagicalCreatures · 25/04/2018 20:04

@December2018 😂 my OH tried to do the same. I told him that if he tried it again, I would go totally pregnant crazy psycho on him. X

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 25/04/2018 21:07

Just catching up. Some great news @balalalala! Hi to the newbies too - some NYE due date babies! Wonder him many babies on this bus will be some of the first of 2019.

I'm still a bit anxious. Got a 3+ on CBD yesterday so encouraged a bit by that. Early scan booked for 10th May so that's the next milestone I guess (now that I can't POAS anymore!). Feeling a lot more nauseous today too (think I'm about 5+4) which is both a relief and a chore. Really really hungry today too. Anyone else very hungry right now? I'm also off my tea Brew! That's always a first trimester thing for me. Coffee will be next 😩

dreaminofholidays · 25/04/2018 21:21

@spongebobgrannypants
how come you can't POAS anymore?

been so hungry today too! I am about 5+3 but haven't seen more than 1-2 on CBD which is worrying me but will probably do another test later this week, I am obsessed. xx

December2018 · 25/04/2018 21:22

Yeah I'm very hungry too I can't actually look back at my day and remember a part of it when I'm not actually cramming things in my gob 😂😂 I'm craving sweet things so I'm gonna be good tomorrow and swap the sweets for fruit... I tried today but failed miserably xx
I had fruit pastilles tho... surely one of my 5 a day 🤪 XX

liane15 · 25/04/2018 21:23

Seems my new favourite thing to say is that smells disgusting! Anyone else having this problem? Absolutely everything smells awful and makes me want to throw up. Yesterday I was sick at my sons football practice because of the smell of smokey bacon crisps 🤢

orangekitkat13 · 25/04/2018 22:09

@liane15 oh no! That's terrible! I'm having the opposite at the moment, everything smells great and I want to eat it all! Hungry all the time.

Only other symptoms so far are still soar boobs(debating a non wired bra) and back ache.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 25/04/2018 22:37

@dreaminofholidays Just because 3+ is the highest they go up to so seems pointless POAS anymore. Plus, they're pricey buggers!

I'd try again in a couple of days with the test or just forget about them all together if they're causing you extra stress. I know they can be a bit inaccurate. I deliberately timed taking mine a couple of days after when I knew I would have certainly passed 2 or 3 weeks (I had used OPKs this cycle so good idea when I OV). I just did one a week too.

Mum0918 · 25/04/2018 22:40

Honestly feel like i have noone to talk too its really hard. Noone in my family knows yet im 6+4 and got so much pain. Hopefully it will go away by morning. Think im just being a big baby. Ive had no sickness and somehow lost 11lbs.

Yukka · 25/04/2018 23:11

We're here for you @mum0918. Is it abdominal pain? Cramping or achy? You should phone the gp tomorrow if it doesn't ease that's quite a lot of weight to lose quickly xx
