Thanks chick... my girls keep me busy most of the time it's when they are at school/preschool or in bed that my mind works overtime. I also read wayyy to much! I need to stop. x

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 16/04/2018 22:32

I had an early scan (vaginal) with dd at 6 weeks because of bleeding and saw the heartbeat, but there is a chance they won't see anything at that stage and cause unnecessary worry, hence why 8weeks + is preferred.

Maggi85 · 17/04/2018 08:10

I'm having a scan next week - i'll be 6+2 so not sure if they will be able to see anything. I'll keep you updated.

December2018 · 17/04/2018 08:20

Omg I had the strangest of dreams last night!!!
On the other hand I actually slept right thru lol (apart from the odd wee)
I feel really sick today tho... it amazes me how much more sicker you can feel in a day haha
How are all you lovely ladies & jellybeans feeling this morning xxx

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 08:28

@December2018 talk to the Drs about it. I think it's only in birth that you need the jabs. Because my thinking was the placenta keeps the blood separate. So it's only when there could be a mix of blood that it becomes an issue. BUT I don't know loads about it. Although it rings a bell about the body fighting the baby. But not too sure.

Cakelaur · 17/04/2018 08:30

@December2018 scrap my post take @Mummydizzy's advice seeing as she is rhesus negative. I'm only going by my mother in law.

December2018 · 17/04/2018 08:34

I'll have a gab with my doctor see what he says, I still haven't had a blood test and I really want one just to make sure my hcg levels are where they should be, put my mind at ease Smile
I'm gonna write a list of all the things I'm worrying about and just go for it ha!
He's gonna hate me xx

Hello ladies! Do you mind if I join? I have read these threads for a while but never posted but on Sunday I got a BFP which was such a massive shock to me. I caught it pretty early (I’m 4 weeks tomorrow) so I guess there is still a chance it is a chemical pregnancy but fingers crossed it sticks. I am 26, it’s my first pregnancy and I have PCOS which is why it was such a shock. How do you get it off your mind? I’m hardly working just thinking of it. Xx

December2018 · 17/04/2018 11:35

Hi faicepainter it's amazing but so nerve racking all at the same time!
I turned 27 at the end of March so I got a lovely little late birthday prezzie and this little jellybean is my 1st so I don't know what to expect at all GrinSmile
Was you trying for a while? XX

Facepainter26 · 17/04/2018 11:41

@December2018 it’s so exciting and I’m honestly the most impatient person ever so it’s going to be a long wait 😂 I turn 26 at the beginning of May so I’m classing it as a very early birthday present. No it was actually first month TTC which added to my surprise, I was told that I would really struggle to conceive so that added to my suprise when I got my BFP. Now I’m just hoping that it sticks and stays because it would be a great story to tell.

Xx

Hi everyone glad to hear things are going well

I'm 7w now. Symptoms come and go a bit which is a bit worrying. Got an early scan next week at 8w and really hoping it's won't be internal. Still worried about things going wrong (and this is baby 2, so it doesn't get easier!).

Hope everyone is ok today x

December2018 · 17/04/2018 12:09

Yeah lovely birthday prezzie!!! 😜
I find it really amazing I really do, we are gonna grow another human being, with feelings and his/her own little personality and it only takes 9 months.... A VERY LOOONG 9 MONTHS.... especially for us group of worriers 😁💜 XX

December2018 · 17/04/2018 12:11

Awww rachie! I feel your pain
I'm still worrying about every little cramp, knicker checking like a madwoman haha!
.... if I'm honest I'm not a fan of internal scans either xx

December2018 · 17/04/2018 12:17

Ohh Also have any of you started getting strange cravings yet?? XX

yellowmellw · 17/04/2018 12:18

Hi I'm currently 7+5 so on Thursday morning I'll be 8 weeks and I have a scan and booking appointment at 8.30am so really nervous for that as my symptoms have disappeared at the moment which is worrying

JimmyPestoJunior · 17/04/2018 13:01

My symptoms have been coming and going over the last few days, I'm 6+3 at the moment. Today and yesterday is the first time since getting the BFP that my boobs haven't hurt at all. I'm really hoping it's just my body adjusting to being pregnant rather than sinister. It seems there's quite a few of us in the same position.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 13:39

@Rachie1986 Dildo cam is what one of my previous antenatal groups called it 🙈 It's no worse than a smear from what I remember though. I'd say be prepared for it, but fingers crossed you won't need it. Drink lots of fluid as it helps swell your bladder and push your uterus up for the abdominal scan. Either way, you honestly won't care when you see that little heart beating away 😊

Stephisaur · 17/04/2018 14:04

@Rachie1986 I had an internal scan to check my uterus a few years ago. Honestly the worst bit was that my Mum was there 😂

It's cold, but looks like a big silver space dildo. I didn't find it at all uncomfortable.

If you do need an internal scan, just chug a load of water in the hour before your scan. Mine was late and I almost pissed on the poor woman as I hadn't wee'd all day 😂 they had to let me go to the toilet to take the edge off (superb bladder control over here, still had plenty for the scan!)

I'm 6+5 today.. tiredness has taken over.. could literally sleep all day. Boobs less sore and random bouts of nausea. Still having sharp left sided pain tho which I'm finding a bit concerning..

MamaBerg · 17/04/2018 15:06

Hi everyone and congratulations on your pregnancies!!

I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. I've been feeling pretty nauseous for a week with tender boobs and I'm so bloated and windy! Blush

I'm 32 and mum to a 2 year old boy already. I told him there's a baby in mummy's tummy and he keep poking my belly saying "baby in there" So cute! Grin

I was cycling 27/28 days but then had a random 32 days last month (did 2 negative tests at 30 and 32 days!). So this month didn't bother testing til 36 days as I didn't want to get my hopes up again. Mother nature is a cow!!

Apparently in due 12th Dec but we will wait and see what the scan shows.

December2018 · 17/04/2018 15:15

Hi mamaberg... I'll be 6 weeks on Thursday due on the 13th... only a day apart haha!
I'm so nauseous today and I can't stop eating dairyLea lunchables haha xx
I didn't test until 4 days after period was due because I had terrible cramps.. thought for sure I was gonna come on, NOPE!!
😊😊 XX

Mibby16 · 17/04/2018 16:33

Hi, rang the GP to sort my booking in appointment today and they don't want to see me until May 23rd Confused that seems ages Sad

Gemsie1984 · 17/04/2018 16:40

@Mibby16- how many weeks will you be then? I always thought booking in was 8-9 weeks?

Bora88 · 17/04/2018 16:43

@lolli18 @CT240
I have just had a private viability scan on Saturday & I was exactly 7 weeks. They could see a yolk sac, a fetal pole & detected a heart beat. All crazy considering the ‘baby’ was less than 1cm in size. I have attached the picture. Me & OH have both noticed it looks like a witch & now we have seen it we can’t unsee it lol
