At least I know I'm not alone with the CM
I'm quite crampy too sometimes,
Also have any of you ladies been struggling to sleep, I've been going to bed about 9-10 and waking up anywhere between 4-5 am and can't get back to sleep, but I'm really tired thru the day then it's driving me mad lol xxx

DoAsDreamersDo · 16/04/2018 16:20

I've been waking up between 2 and 3 to go to the loo and then I can't get back off until 5, then my alarm goes off at 6. I feel as though I can't get comfy. No idea what I'll be like with a bump!

RedWineAllMine · 16/04/2018 16:23

This thread got me all teary...
I'm in the same boat. 1MMC at 8+3 and 4 early losses around 5 weeks. I feel like I won't be able to get excited at a positive test anymore because that feeling of dread of it happening again will just take over me.
However I DTD during ovulation this month, so I'm now in my TWW So I will see I guess! It's been a year since my last loss, so I've needed the break.
Comforting thread with some good info.

@applesauce1
Thankyou. I do feel so proud of myself (even though I very nearly broke into a millions pieces) because each time I’ve just got back up and said ‘screw you’ to whoever or whatever decided I had to go through it.
I am very lucky. I had become extremely good at expressing my feelings and learning ways to explain it to people so they understand and my family and friends are just fantastic.
One thing that scares me is memory loss. When I’ve had an episode before, I have no memories of what happened. And it is obviously playing on my mind because I had a dream the other night that I’d given birth and had no memory of being pregnant.
Stupid right? 😂
But you will be fine and so will I. I think your already showing strength and the capabilities of being a great mum by making the decision for the health of your unborn child to come of the medication.

Mamababynumber2 · 16/04/2018 16:46

I've had ewcm and milky discharge and cramps for the past 2 weeks.

Yukka · 16/04/2018 18:22

hey ladies, just thought I'd give a quick update and check in on you all! Lovely to see so many new ladies joining for december babies.

Currently I'm 6w 2d after 2 mc's at 5 wks. Went to docs on friday, they won't refer for early scan unless i actually start to bleed . .. nice! debating private scan as not sure I can cope without some little hint that everything is fine . . .

My symptoms seem to be a little on and off, felt like going 'off' yesterday so was awake all night expecting to cramp and bleed. though this afternoon at work my boobs swelled up again. I am regularly prodding them, god knows what people think if they actually see me doing it!

Filled out the self referral form today for hospital - head up you need your NHS number, didn't have mine but was an easy phone call to the GP to get it.

a few people asked about the drinking thing, I was at a party on saturday night and manged to fudge I was on G&T by drinking tonic with lemon and not getting involved in rounds, DH just kept me topped up. I also talked about having a weird head cold virus that hasn't cleared ( this is true) and realised this buys me time - not drinking cos need to shift this awful virus . . . There's loads going round so its an easy sell.

Hope everyone else doing ok anyway. I'm not sure whats worse the TWW or waiting for the Scan . . . .

xx

Can I join? Just got my first ever BFP, according to my app (Blush) I’m 4+2. Equally excited and terrified!

loulou82 · 16/04/2018 18:40

Hi All.

I've been on the March bus and took a break and didn't join April bus as wanted to avoid a Christmas baby.

Well....

We dtd 5 days before my fertile period In march and nothing else that month so thought we'd missed the boat.

So I was having drinks, taking Ibubrofen, went to a lambing farm, eating rare burgers etc etc

Was 2 days late yesterday so did a test and would you believe it, positive and due date of 25th December.

The cosmos telling me not to be so controlling of things I'm sure.

Stephisaur · 16/04/2018 18:52

Welcome to the new ladies!

Tashaa I’ve seen a few people say that their symptoms come and go, so fx it’s nothing :)

Just got home from seeing the GP (already had an appointment booked lol) and have my booking appointment on the 3rd! 😬

CT240 · 16/04/2018 19:07

Hi ladies, hope it’s ok if I join, congratulations to you all!
I got my bfp last week due approx 11th December! Just wondered what you thought about paying for an early scan? I had a mmc over Christmas at approx 6 weeks and I am just so anxious. Will it put my mind at ease or should I just wait until 12 week scan?

Yukka · 16/04/2018 20:04

Hi @ct240 just been talking this though too with my dh. I'm going to give it a couple more days and if I'm still a bit anxious then we'll book in. There is a local place to costs £90 which I think might be worth it to try and relax. Have you checked out local places near you?

Hi All, hope I'm ok to join. I am 5 weeks pregnant due approx. Dec 18th. this is my 4th Pregnancy - 1st 2 ended in MC around 7/8 weeks and last one ended in MC at 16 weeks. I am praying everything goes well this time I have a early scan next Wed 25/4 so we'll see - not many symptoms at the moment just tiredness and bit of light cramps. Good luck to you all and looking forward to our journeys xx

PopTheRainbowdrops · 16/04/2018 20:19

Welcome December! My DD is a "you'll need IVF" miracle. As is number two to be fair- my hubby has a sperm count of one! They can't do any of the normal fertility tests as there isn't anything to test. Yet somehow he's got me pregnant twice 😂 it's a very strange miracle to happen, I still didn't believe it even when my DD was in my arms!

CT240 · 16/04/2018 20:24

Hi @yukka !
Yes I’ve found somewhere close that you seem to be able to book in for an appointment really easily for approx £90. I think I might wait a little bit but don’t want to give it too long, can’t get my first appointment with midwife for another 3 weeks so realistically it will be at least 5 weeks before NHS scan. Just so anxious to experience the same as last time. I know it’s a daft question but are they reliable scans?

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 16/04/2018 20:42

I've never known anyone to regret an early private scan. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind I guess. 12w scan is still a long way off.

lolli18 · 16/04/2018 20:44

How early can you get a private scan that would actually show something?

CT240 · 16/04/2018 20:46

The website I have seen says they can scan from 6 weeks. Has anyone had one at this point before?

Yukka · 16/04/2018 20:47

My understanding is that they a proper ultra sound. If after 6 weeks they would detect feotal sac and tube and a visual heartbeat in the movement of the sac. I'll be 7 weeks on Saturday so perhaps even better then x

You will have to let us know if you decide to go for one. I’m definitely going to look into it more, I think it would be better than worrying for the next 5 weeks!

Mummydizzy · 16/04/2018 21:29

Hey ladies... I'm 5+3 weeks. Totally gone off my food and when I did manage a smoothie today I felt a little nauseous after. I've been getting some sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen today, it feels like growing pains and I'm not concerned just curious to see if anyone else had experienced this?

December2018 · 16/04/2018 21:33

Yeah I'm getting lots of pains today... it's just your bits and pieces inside stretching and getting ready to house little bean for the next couple of weeks lol
Every cramp I just think of little bean getting comfortable haha Grinxxx

Mummydizzy · 16/04/2018 22:01

Thank you @december2018 this is my 3rd pregnancy but I don't remember anything and I'm much more anxious this time. I had undiagnosed group b strep in my last pregnancy so that's putting me a little on edge and I'm o resus negative too so until I have the injections I get a little anxious. x

December2018 · 16/04/2018 22:07

It's my first... I'm so scared but trying to take each day as it comes haha!
We worry all the time us women don't we
The TWW is awful and now we have another hurdle to deal with... it's so frightening!
I'm rhesus D negative... do you think I will need injections?
Smile

Mummydizzy · 16/04/2018 22:11

@december2018 I'm not sure about D neg. if you do require injections to prevent your body fighting baby off then it's not such a big deal first time round as your body takes a while to work out what's going on.. it's future babies that you are at higher risk as your body recognises baby as a foreign body straight away so try's to fight sooner. That's how I've understood it anyway. x

December2018 · 16/04/2018 22:15

Ohhh haha Thankyou!
My heart stopped for a moment then!
Well try not to stress hun (easier said than done I know)
Try and do something that will take your mind off things... I'm gonna try and get myself thru as many box sets as humanly possible to keep me busy and relaxed (sort of) xxx
