@Kayleigh1986 I know exactly what you mean, I don't know what's normal and what's not! Twinges lots last night and feeling a bit "full" today! Things are growing quickly and I suppose things might be expanding already!

Kayleigh1986 · 29/01/2018 18:45

@Kah09 exactly! I think because we had MC in October at 5.5 weeks it's just a worry x

Kayleigh1986 · 29/01/2018 18:45

My partner says he's wrapping me in cotton wool for the next 8 months! Which suits me fine because I'm absolutely wiped already!!

chewbacca83 · 29/01/2018 18:53

Yep worried here too. Felt bloated all day and had period pain type aches and twinges all day. Trying not to be paranoid but it's really hard!

Kah09 · 29/01/2018 18:59

@Kayleigh1986 yep we had a "pregnancy of an unknown location" at about 4/5 weeks in back in June but they dated me incorrectly at nine weeks because I was so irregular! I'm so glad to have met you ladies on here who share similar experiences (most of my friends have fallen pregnant straight away and had no issues whatsoever - very lucky)!

LimpLettice · 29/01/2018 19:06

It's very normal to have twinges and cramps. Even though the actual embryo is teeny, the uterus expands, heart rate goes up and for a lot of people digestion goes crackers so there is a lot going on which can feel like af. Just gotta stay positive. Easier said than done though, innit!

Hi,

I’m not sure why I’m joining. Prob to torture myself a bit more than I already am.
We have been ttc for 13 months. My period is always on time, however sometimes early but never has been late. Well apart from being pregnant.
My period was due yesterday I did a test this morning it was an Asda one and it was negitive. I’m not going to test no more I can’t face it. I already have a doctors appointment made for 16.02.18 as we haven’t been able to fall pregnant for a year I just want to double check all my levels are fine now we have decided to take the relaxed approach.
I think I’ll be on tonight but nevertheless I just wanted to know when you all found out and if you got a negitive first.
I feel sick today but I’ve got a bit of a cold and a sore throat had a nap this morning which I never do but could be because my daughters been waking up at 5 also had cramps since Friday but I don’t usuallg cramp at all. I think I ovulated late because I threw everything away as we had given up and my lay opk was day 14 and it was getting progressively darker but not a positive.
Of course I’m prob bonkers and just having a late period

HoneyCake86 · 29/01/2018 19:22

I got 3 days of negatives before my positive. In previous pregnancies i didnt get a positive til on or just after my period

hi HONEY, thank you. Well I was due yesterday so I would of expected a positive today. I say I’m out but I’m living in hope for a while and clutching on any straw I possibly can. I can’t bare the disappointment

Dannibelle · 29/01/2018 20:00

Hi all

Please could I jump on too?!
First pregnancy, am 4w6d, 3 positive tests done and completed the online self referral for my first appointment. Been trying for 4 years so I'm and bundle of excitement, nerves and terror!
Have some pulling pains in lower abdo, ridiculously sore boobs, tired etc!
Hope everyone's doing well :)

Katievb · 29/01/2018 20:00

This might sound stupid but because I’ve never been pregnant before thought this would be best place to ask. Would you know if you had a miscarriage is it very painful? Or do you just get a period! Sorry don’t want to offend anyone just don’t have anyone to ask in the real world. So glad everyone is having cramps and twinges. Xx

Birdie963 · 29/01/2018 20:03

@katievb my miscarriage was awfully painful. Excruciating.

monkerina · 29/01/2018 20:08

Mine was just a very heavy period with big clots (sorry!) around 5+5. I don't think there's any hard and fast rule though.

Cupcakes, stay strong! DS took 20 months to conceive, have been trying 11 months for this one. Getting your levels checked and a referral to fertility clinic is a great idea x

JLamb89 · 29/01/2018 20:22

@CRZ1988 cramping is how I knew I was pregnant ! I’ve had cramps for about 4 days day.
Lots of lower back pain and going pain also.

Just an update on my Mum all her biopsies have come back clear ! Whoop whoop ! I also told her I was pregnant today and she was super excited !

Also did a clear blue digital which moved to 2-3weeks today which I’m happy with 😍. Super glad to hear that other people are still doing tests too ! It’s so hard not just having an anxiety meltdown waiting to see this little bean on a screen !

Hello to all the newbies !!

JLamb89 · 29/01/2018 20:25

Also so so sorry to hear about everyone’s miscarriage stories. It’s absolutely heartbreaking ! Fingers crossed and all the luck in the world to everyone in their pregnancies ! Xx

Birdie963 · 29/01/2018 20:28

@jlamb89 Same here! I wish everyone in this thread has a happy healthy pregnancy Grin

Kkk87 · 29/01/2018 20:51

I've been having few pains in tummy today and it's like I can't identify what the pain is anymore, wether is be wind or cramp! I feel worried with every pain I feel.. I wish I could just be more laid back and enjoy the experience. I just want this first trimester over with so I can relax a little

DwangelaForever · 29/01/2018 20:52

I'm joining 😍 just got my BFP today. Due October 10th! Is there a Facebook page set up 😂 (I find them easier to track than mumsnet forums)

JLamb89 · 29/01/2018 21:04

@dwangelaforever welcome ! Congratulations :)

surreygirl1987 · 29/01/2018 21:19

Hi all may I jump on? I've only just found this bus but so glad to see some familiar names from the conception boards on here!! :)
I'm 30, 4weeks 1 day, due on 7th October and TERRIFIED! Anyone else obsessively knicker checking?? Glad to read cramps are totally normal... I'm having lots including some sharp twinges that really worried me! I've not told anyone yet (apart from husband) as too scared and hardly seems real... but midwife appointment now booked :)

Kkk87 · 29/01/2018 21:30

Yes I'm a serial knicker checker ! I drive myself insane

Oakcrescent4 · 29/01/2018 21:31

Welcome to all the new ladies! Flowers have been miserable all day here with gastroenteritis Sad no fun whilst there’s a toddler around! Hope everyones well xx

Birdie963 · 29/01/2018 21:32

Purposely wearing white pants so I can fully see any patch of doom aka redness haha

Coffeelover56 · 29/01/2018 21:43

Good news about your mam JLamb you must feel very relieved.

I've just had a crying meltdown tonight. I'd like to blame pregnancy but I think it's more the stress of wedding planning and trying to please people whilst sticking to a budget! DP has agreed to invite his parents' friends and their son and his girlfriend. I wanted a small wedding and now I'm pregnant it's even more important to stick to a budget and it's £70 per head, so I'm pissed off to say the least! Anyway rant over haha.

I'm still utterly exhausted, but luckily the nausea hasn't set in just yet! Hope everyone is doing ok and welcome to the newbies!

justtowarm · 29/01/2018 21:43

With you on the knicker checking Surreygirl! Work must think I have a bladder problem 🙈
