@sophherts I'm going to do another digital this week as the last one was 1-2 weeks so should change to 2-3 now xx

JLamb89 · 04/02/2018 10:19

Totally did a digital this morning ! I’m 5weeks today ! And it came back at 3+ so I’m made up. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Hope everyone is good ?!?
Also the Facebook drama is bound to happen, we are all preggo and hormonal as hell !!
Let’s just try not to take things personal and be happy 😊

Katievb · 04/02/2018 10:36

Hope everyone is ok?? I’m not on Facebook so can’t join any groups. My Mum and Dad live on a farm so had to tell them this morning as im here for the weekend and don’t want to be near any of the sheep that are lambing. Really didn’t want to tell them yet :( xxx

DwangelaForever · 04/02/2018 10:45

@Katievb aww nightmare! I haven't told my mum and dad yet either, hubby told his dad yesterday and they had a few pints to celebrate 😂😍

DwangelaForever · 04/02/2018 10:46

Also reading back over my posts from last night I really was a hormonal mess 😂 I apologise!

HoneyCake86 · 04/02/2018 13:56

FallenAngel82 · 04/02/2018 14:34

Hi Everyone, I'm hopefully due around first week of October with my first. I've done 3 tests so far with the last being on Thursday. Digital test saying 2-3 weeks. First day of AF was back in 30.12.17.

Not much symptoms as yet, cramping last week, bit tired and very hormonal.

Just hoping that everything is ok as I'm surprised that we're kinda left alone until 8-12 week booking appointment. Trying not to stress/worry too much. Haven't told anyone expect for OH so also feeling a little isolated. Anyone else feeling this way?? My worry is overtaking any excitement I originally felt and am trying to adjust to my emotions being all over the place.

twobambinos · 04/02/2018 14:36

If anyone looked through my camera on the phone now they would think I was crazy. Also hoping the bin gets collected so all the used tests are gone Grin wish I could have that money back now 😂

Katievb oh no I hate being forced to tell people early.

Kayleigh1986 · 04/02/2018 16:23

@twobambinos bin day on Friday so I snuck a big bag of them in there without anyone seeing 😂😂😂😂🙈

twobambinos · 04/02/2018 16:25

Tomorrow here. It really would not want to be a windy night or all the neighbours will know I'm expecting Grin

Kayleigh1986 · 04/02/2018 16:30

@twobambinos oh god can you imagine 😂😂😂

SingaVera · 04/02/2018 18:32

@FallenAngel82 I'm in the same boat. EDD 02.10. first pregnancy and can't wait for a scan! I might do a private one (£89 with ultrasound direct) at 8 weeks to have some peace of mind cause I'm a nervous wreck!

Millipede170 · 04/02/2018 20:27

Hello all, bfp last Friday, woohoo! Dc2 tentatively expected 8/10. Feeling totally knackered but not nauseous like last time - v early days however!!

Good luck everyone Flowers

Catspajamas85 · 04/02/2018 20:47

@DwangelaForever I’ve just added you and would like to join the Facebook group if poss. Initials are KS. I am 4w 1d, was feeling on top of the world but have just stressed myself out massively by reading too much about mc. This is my first pregnancy so fairly naive about these things x

Trusky · 04/02/2018 21:42

@Catspajamas85 I am in the same boat as you, I have been reading a lot about chemical pregnancy and now I am really worried. Why do we do this to ourselves, eh?
It's hard being in a situation we have no control over but let's hope for the best. Flowers for you!

I've been having some weird pains in my womb area over the past few days, completely different from period cramps. Almost like a muscle-y burning like sensation. No sore boobs but I have had a lot of veins come to the surface on them. Confused Also I am needing to pee all the time. Anyone having similar symptoms?

Catspajamas85 · 04/02/2018 23:15

@trusky I have been having all sorts of mild cramps, pinching and even mild stabbing feelings in that area which I’m assuming is just everything making a bit of room! I’ve read that it’s normal but I’m obvs no expert! My boobs haven’t been sore either and I haven’t noticed any extra veins but I’m going to pay more attention now!
Flowers to you too x

HoneyCake86 · 05/02/2018 07:50

You know when you ‘hold’ your wee? Are you supposed to avoid drinking anything? I cant get through my morning without at least one coffee 🙈

Hi all!

To introduce myself....

27 with "older husband" at 50.
LMP Dec 27th, ovulated on Jan 11th

So currently 5+4 according to the Flo app on the ovulation date. Placed my due date at 3/10.

Planning to have the NIPT test, but booked myself an early scan Feb 19th as I can hardly believe it. We've told both sets of parents who are over the moon but not telling anyone else.

I've got a hen do soon so I will have to come clean for that, and I'm also due to do an long triathlon that would fall at about 14 weeks, so big question marks as to whether I'd still do that. Depends a bit on how I feel and how big the bump is.

Saw a few runners on the thread already so hi to you guys. I believe from what I've read, so long as you behave within the normal sphere of what you do, you should be okay. I may get an appointment with a specialist to double check.

Re symptoms, feeling a bit lacklustre, few cramps in the lower tummy and my "cycling legs" are having a hard time. Found out half way through a training camp abroad in the middle of cycling every day!

Very nerve wracking being so early on but best to stay positive :) Hello to all and massive congratulations to you all xx

frankiefumbles · 05/02/2018 09:40

Also, sorry to double post but for those of you getting EARLY SCANS!

I'm very excited but equally I don't want to go too early as there are all sorts of nightmares posted by people who have gone too early and haven't seen quite what they want to see. Because I know my ovulation date, I'm almost certain I'll have my dating correct (right...?!) so I've booked in for what will be Wk7+4...how does that compare with what you guys selected as your early scan date?

twobambinos · 05/02/2018 09:58

And the vomiting has started.

ladydolly · 05/02/2018 10:33

Morning all!!

Welcome newbies, so exciting to see the thread fill up! Those with previous losses there's a thread for those pregnant after miscarriage, I try and hang out there so as not to make this worrying time worse for those over here. The odds are in our favour for a baby at the end of this so try and keep that in mind if you're worrying. (easier said than done)

My nausea is nowhere near as bad with this one as with my daughter and previous pregnancy, but my boobs hurt more. And like the others I AM STARVING!

frankiefumbles first time around I had a scan at 9wks and could see so much, it was actually better than my 12 week, limbs and face and wrigging around. At 7+4 you're sure to see a heartbeat so that's a good minimum. HTH.

Kayleigh1986 · 05/02/2018 12:34

@frankiefumbles I have an early scan booked for 7+2 can't wait!!

Ladies if you would like to join my Facebook group for Mums Due Autumn 2018 please pop me a friend request and I'll add you. You can remove me as a friend straight after, it's just that it's a secret group so can't be found without being added by a friend xx

HoneyCake86 · 05/02/2018 12:38

I have my scan on friday at 6 +3. I wish people wouldnt post horror stories about it, we are aware of what may /may not show so early. People are already anxious enough without people saying ‘well you can still miscarry’. Us ladies especially those who have had mc before that things can go wrong any time, theres no need for constant reminders. (Im not having a go btw i mean the thread about early scans). I can always book another scan a couple weeks later to recheck and if god forbid anything did happen id have a picture to remember it by.

I just think although we should be aware its not always guaranteed that itll reach term, ppl need to lay off with the negativity instead of scaring the hell out of women who have already suffered losses. We arent stupid, we know that even a 5 month scan wont guarantee a healthy baby at birth. We all know all of this its common sense.

I’ll have this one then if not much details can be seen ill repeat it at 8/9 weeks xx
