Hello everyone! I'm due 21st august if the predictor things are to be believed.
Very excited! Not many symptoms as yet. Did have a bit of a scare with a bit of bleeding last week that lasted about 6 days - nothing heavy at all, just spotting. So I'm just hoping everything is ok! But to be fair I did have kind of the same thing with my last (DD is 4 now) and everything was fine. They never got to the bottom of what caused it.

Im ok, i just burst into tears whenever i talk about it i must look like a right loon.
Docs gonna see if she can bring the scan forward to check for retained bits/ to rule out ectopic, but with xmas hours its not guarenteed.
I just want to grieve this loss and move on but i feel im in limbo, and not knowing what has caused it too... how do i know what not to do next... so much grey areas xx

Big hugs... it is horrible to be in limbo. Did she say if bloods had come back?

Unfortunately most early losses are unexplained. Making a little human is very complicated and sometimes something goes wrong. Such a horrible time of year for it to happen (not that there's a good time!) It's very very VERY likely to have been absolutely nothing you've done, do be kind to yourself. xx

Wouldn't a google sheet be a better idea, as we can just add columns and rows of extra info as required, and not have an unwieldy list repeatedly in the thread. We could just post the link in the OP of the next thread, for easy reference.

@Honeycake86 I’m really sorry. I hope that you can get an earlier scan. It was most likely nothing you did and doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. 20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage and often in the early stages. You are most likely to go on and have a healthy pregnancy the next time. It’s horrible to go through though. I hope you’ve got support from your partner xx

Sorry to hear sad news, Honey. It’s so hard, I hope you have someone there with you to help you.

I had booking appointment today, made me more nervous. I’m going to be under consultant care, because i’m 35, have a bmi over 30, and had a massive baby. In the past i’ve lost weight and then tried, but this is a bit of a surprise so i’m almost as unhealthy as i’ve ever been!

Got my second scan next Wed and trying not to get hopes up, but it’s hard not to think about it all the time. I’m glad to hear about the heart beats on scans this week, must be a relief.

Google sheet will involve revealing email info so I'd rather wait for a bit but totally up for that at some point further on especially if we get into sending cards etc :)

When I've been on these threads before the building of the list is a bit unwieldy and does clog up a couple of pages of the thread, but once it's made it only appears in the OP from then on (with adjustments being made when a new thread is required) so not in the way at all.

I couldn’t edit the doc, or copy the list!
