I thought I’d start this thread now as I can’t see one yet! I got my bfp this weekend on a digital and estimate my due date to be 1st of July, but I have long cycles so I’m anticipating it changing at a dating scan. Anyone else with me for end of June or beginning of July 2018?

Hi, everyone! Got my BFP yesterday on a cheapie, and a clearblue today said 1-2 weeks, which doesn't really match my dates as I think I'm 5 weeks today...
This is my second DC, and DP's first so he's a tiny bit shocked even though we were actively trying Grin
Already booked in for MW appt on 21/11. Feeling really sick, cramping slightly and peeing every 5 minutes already. Makes quite a change from DC1 who was in there so quietly I had no idea I was pregnant until 15 weeks Confused
I think I'll be due July 5th.

Bluebirdsky · 02/11/2017 20:25

Welcome @ReverseGiraffe I am due on the 5th July too! Smile

noimagination80 · 02/11/2017 20:58

Welcome everyone, and great news about all the early scans xx

Lilychouchou · 03/11/2017 06:26

Congratulations busylizzi, ca55andra and giraffe! Smile

I couldn't resist another CB test this morning (I know I know - that way madness lies). It has moved on to 3+ now Grin. That does make me think I'm probably only just 5 weeks (last period was 20 September which should make me 6 weeks - but it was unusually early). Of course we have our super early scan tomorrow morning but now I'm thinking we probably won't see anything at all, which might be more worrying than reassuring. We do need to make a decision asap about this holiday though so I'm torn!!

lgh05 · 03/11/2017 06:49

Well come to the new girls with their BFP, don’t forget we have a secret Facebook group for all of us July babies which is lovely as a support system! All welcome!!!

@Lilychouchou I am glad you have now got your 3+ I would have test until I saw it too, I am like a dog with a bone with those test if I don’t see something I like! I hope you can relax now and leave the peeing on sticks and just enjoy this baby growing every day! I am still waiting for my amazon delivery, I think by the time it blooming comes il be 3+ weeks, I wanted to see the progression from 2-3 then 3+!!

DoubleEspresso22 · 03/11/2017 06:57

Morning ladies. Just a little confused. I got my letter through form the hospital yesterday, my 12 week scan is booked for Dec 28th which includes the nuchal test. But I haven't seen or heard from a midwife yet and I have no date for a booking appointment - is this right?

Cronxgirl27 · 03/11/2017 07:59

Last month (I had a CP), my scan letter came though first and then the booking appointment didn’t come until I would’ve been 8 weeks with an appointment 2 days later!! I rang them yesterday and asked them to switch the dates rather than re-register. Now got booking appointment on 05/12 and scan on 29/12. So don’t worry! But if you need a bit more notice then call the midwife team at the hosp?

Enwi · 03/11/2017 08:10

She didn’t actually give me a date. She just said it was unclear and I definitely wasn’t 6 weeks yet. It’s odd because I know my dates are right, and the heartbeat was so clear to see. Everything I’m reading online says that it is very unlikely to see a heartbeat before 6 weeks on an external scan.
I wish I’d asked her more and pushed for an internal scan, or another scan in a few weeks to see why baby is measuring almost 9 days behind. She was quite grumpy and I gasped when I saw the heartbeat and she got quite huffy with me because my tummy moved and she had to find baby again Blush

Bluebirdsky · 03/11/2017 08:13

@DoubleEspresso22 the scan appointment is often arranged by the ultrasound department and the booking is arranged by maternity so it's not unusual for them to arrive separately. I would give it a few more days/week to see if the booking appointment arrives :)

DoubleEspresso22 · 03/11/2017 08:19

@cronxgirl27 @bluebirdsky I see! Thanks for clearing that up, this is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what I'm doing! Confused

Sammyjoy · 03/11/2017 08:56

Hello, Can I join ? I’m due on the 10th of July. This will be baby number 3!

Boboelephant · 03/11/2017 09:04

Hello all, can I join please? I got a faint bfp yesterday on a morrisons test and an internet cheapie and then a strong bfp today on a cb! I'll be 5 weeks today- due date about 7th July. I have a lovely 2 year old already and had an awful experience of a ruptured ectopic last November. I lost my tube and we have been trying again for 9 months. I actually have an appointment booked wirh a specialist for next week so to get this bfp is so amazing!! I'm really excited and scared at the same time. Off to the GP today to get my 6 week scan at the EPU booked for next week. Fingers crossed for a uterine pregnancy! Congratulations to you all 😀

Hulaballoo · 03/11/2017 09:21

Hi everyone and welcome new bfp'ers! I've been feeling a little low recently... 4+5 today despite getting bfp on 23rdOct... Feels like ages ago. Boobs a little less sore today and I haven't had any other symptoms apart from needing the loo at night... So I'm panicking...Mmc last year baby stopped growing at 5w but not picked up until private scan at 7 weeks and and op not until 11w -it feels a little like deja vu. Trying to convince myself it's different. It's so hard!! I'm tired but then I'm often tired, not particularly hungry in the morning but that happens sometimes. Just wish these few weeks ahead I could have some sort of real hefty symptom to put my mind at ease. I haven't joined fb group as last year (all same time as now) I joined one only to leave so I'm finding it hard to separate it all 😥😥

RicStar · 03/11/2017 10:36

Hi all can I join. I got bfp this morning. Due 11th July. Will be DC3. Tbh it has not sunk in at all. Imagine I will be testing again to check!

RicStar · 03/11/2017 10:39

My only symptom is my sense of smell goes crazy - it's been the same in all my pregnancies (successful and not). I also have a craving for haribo which must be hormonal and I must satisfy...

lgh05 · 03/11/2017 11:17

Sending love @Hulaballoo, I haven’t got much symptoms at all really, wry very mild really. With MC I’ve read unless you have over 5 consecutively there is no reason why this one should end in MC. Try and keep your head up I know it’s hard. I feel terribly anxious and I’ve only been pregnant once before with my DD and that was fine, so I can’t imagine how you feel. But try and keep calm and take each day as it comes. X

lgh05 · 03/11/2017 11:17

Welcome to all the new BFP!!

Bluebirdsky · 03/11/2017 12:01

@Hulaballoo I know what you mean, I am almost regretting testing so early now as it feels like it's dragging so much and I wish I had been oblivious for a bit longer.

I can't really decide if I am starting to get symptoms or if I am just imagining them, one minute they seem to be there, next minute not.

It must be so difficult for you to stay positive given what you have gone through, just remember that we are here any time that you want to talk and as the others have already said there is every chance that everything will be fine this time.

Hulaballoo · 03/11/2017 12:54

Welcome newcomers 😁 Thank you @Bluebirdsky @lgh05
I've also had loose stools a lot this week... Not runny but loose... About twice a day sometimes which is so unlike me. Took another Cb digi and got 2-3... I got 2-3 last Friday but I think that's still right if I'm 4+5? Just going to try and forget about it if poss and keep busy. So praying this is a sticky bean 🌺

Boboelephant · 03/11/2017 13:10

Thanks for the welcome!
@hulaballoo I know how hard it is. My ectopic was exactly this time last year too. I actually have my early scan booked next week for the exact same date one year on. I'll keep everything crossed that you have a healthy sticky bean! If it's any consolation I always have lots of symptoms when I'm not pregnant and hardly any when I am! With my son I didn't have a scan until 12 weeks and I had NO symptoms. He was and is perfectly fine! :-)

Welcome to all the new joiners and congratulations

@Hulaballoo I did another cb this week at 4+6 and got 2-3 again I think 2-3 = 4-5 weeks so that would be right

Lilychouchou · 03/11/2017 14:54

Welcome and congratulations to our newcomers!

Hula, I'm having the same in the toilet department Blush not sure if it's a symptom, a coincidence or just all the stress!!

Winterfellismyhome · 03/11/2017 15:16

I told work today and my manager was absolutely fine with it. Gave me all the maternity policy info and is doing a risk assessment next week (safety critical job) it felt nice telling someone. Also told me it didnt affect sick leave if im off for something pregnancy related which i didnt know Smile

Hulaballoo · 03/11/2017 16:22

Thank you @Lilychouchou @Bluebirdsky and @Boboelephant
I think having everything at the same time of year again is what's making it hard but you've all really helped me keep my feet on the ground! I took the dog for a quick walk and got some fresh air and cleared my head a bit. Having some tummy ache/but feels like stomach rather than pelvic area and felt a bit queasy so I'm hoping it's a good sign. The scan on the same date @Boboelephant must be super hard- hugs! and it's good to know that 'no symptoms' is still possible :) I'm going to have a chilled night now, cook a yum spag bol, mark my books and watch some telly once the children are in bed :)
