How do I join the FB group as it's so quiet on here?

Lulu298 · 30/10/2017 16:47

It's my second youzanne. Had the same with my first but this time the constant nausea has started earlier. Good luck with your work event. I wonder if sucking on ginger sweets would help..? Am willing to try anything!

Have discovered eating cereal just before going to bed means I don't wake up for long in the middle of the night after a pee!

God fried eggs sound good! And hula hoops too Arcady! And yeah being asleep till the 12 week mark would suit me well sciencegeekgirl!

I shouldn't complain. At least it suggests something is going on in there...

Cookie1831 · 30/10/2017 17:06

Just picked up my bounty pack am too scared to fill it in just test will wait on my scan next Monday as booking next Thursday, have been eating all day I seem to feel queasy when my tummy empty am putting on so much weight I look pregnant already even though it is all food!!

Mintykins4 · 30/10/2017 17:18

Just sitting at work enjoying the nausea. I’ve found in the morning eating oatcakes in bed (other boring dry biscuits are available) before I get up helps to stop me being sick. I rest for five mins if DC isn’t screaming. Then three breakfasts, two lunches and an afternoon snack to get through the day. I put on over a stone in the first trimester last time so this time I’m not worrying about it. Lasted until 14 weeks for me before so hopefully by Xmas I’ll be feeling better Grin

ElizabethLemon · 30/10/2017 17:43

Nausea still in full swing here too, I've just sat in the bath and cried.

I had to do an Ocado order earlier and the thought of actual meals makes me want to hurl so ended up spending £70 on snack food 🙄. Can't wait for my cream crackers, cheddar and piccalilli though!

thinpigeon · 30/10/2017 18:12

Had my first midwife appt today - not full booking in yet - but made it all feel a bit more real! Flu jab booked for next week too...

Georgiporgi · 30/10/2017 18:37

Hi! Hope it's ok to join, this is my first and I have no idea about anything! I'm 9 weeks today with dd of 4th June (if I got all the dates right?), and feel so so awful. Constantly feel sick and shattered, no matter how much sleep I get. It's reassuring reading posts that most people are in the same boat. I'm a lot nervous about it all but it's great to see a community here of support x

RockinRobinTweets · 30/10/2017 20:24

Just putting you back on my active threads! Feel absolutely awful. Got an anti sickness prescription last week but too nervous to take it Confused

Welcome to newbies

Bunnyears85 · 30/10/2017 21:34

Hi everyone, I’m also suffering with constant nausea so I feel your pain. However, we had our scan this evening and seeing that gorgeous little one with a beating heart makes it all worth it!

Sorry for the double post.

I said hello at the very beginning of the thread but then I've been lurking, feeling too tired and sick to post!
I'm due on 30th May, although dates are a bit iffy so expecting it'll be June.
Would love to join the Facebook group as I always lose the thread or my place on here - baby-brain related user-error.
Congratulation to the newcomers.
My first scan is 17th November, feeling very impatient now.
Any one else really showing? It's my 2nd and at only 10 weeks my feeble abdominals have given up and I look about 5m. 😟

Emz01 · 30/10/2017 22:27

Lovely clear photo @Bunnyears85! Glad to
hear all is looking good!

Emz01 · 30/10/2017 22:30

@Elliekins not showing yet, well when I have my trousers done up anyway. When I take them off I can definitely see and feel a slight bump! It’s my 2nd too and last time I was struggling to wear normal trousers by 10 weeks, 8 weeks now so doubt it will be long until my trousers won’t do up!

Georgiporgi · 31/10/2017 06:45

@bunnyears85 aww that's so clear! ❤

@elliekins I'm showing already and struggling with jeans. ASOS have 20% off today so I have invested in some maternity tights and leggings, it feels really early to be buying stuff like that though!

Cookie1831 · 31/10/2017 07:07

Gorgeous scan bunny so pleased all is ok x

Mummyloves09 · 31/10/2017 07:40

@ Bunnyears85 great pic Smile and it's really clear. How far are you now?

I also order new work clothes as my stomach is massive from bloating. All the bagel, crackers and rice are not doing me any favours.

Lulu298 · 31/10/2017 07:41

Brilliant scan photo bunny. And great to hear the heartbeat, it must be such a relief.

I gave up trousers a long time ago and am only 8 weeks! I don't think my tummy muscles or uterus recovered completely from the last pregnancy so another one here who looks 5 months already! Good job I'd already switched to empire line dresses - hopefully no one at work has clocked it.

Have also switched to my maternity bra today! Feels like a milestone.

Welcome newbies.

Lulu298 · 31/10/2017 07:43

£70 on snack foods sounds like my dream order right now elizabethlemon!

ArkadyRose · 31/10/2017 08:03

I've been wearing maternity leggings for over a week now - I should have known something was up when I had to go up a size to size 16 for new hiking trousers and then found even they were tight. I know at this point it'll be mostly bloat - but on the other hand, this is my 10th pregnancy and my stomach muscles never really recovered fully after DD3 in any case.

Scan today at noon, when I should find out if I'm 7 weeks or 10 - and really hoping there's a heartbeat there.

Mummyloves09 · 31/10/2017 08:19

@ ArkadyRose good luck with your scan today.

UnicornDust17 · 31/10/2017 08:29
