Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

X posted there bumper! Glad you got some more sleep! Raspberry leaf tea is vile, but you can buy it in tablet form from Holland & Barratt, which is much more palletable. Don't take it til 36 weeks though!

annobal · 18/04/2007 09:43

at your MIL Sputnik. Sounds a bit like mine - she uses the chip fat from about 100 years ago - I usually decline chips when I'm there... How is your cervix btw??

Rats all sorted I think, and we have water!! Hurrah - am feeling quite clean today. My cleaner is coming today so will get her to spend lots of time in the kitchen. She also looks after the LOs for me sometimes so I think I will ask her to mind them for an hour while I go to replenish our cupboard that had to be thrown out.

I'm off into Covent Garden today to meet DH for lunch - he's out tonight so the LOs will be getting an early dinner and bed so I can catch up with you lot.

Am getting confused about tummy pain. All day yesterday had kind of low level period pain - assumed it was growing pains but could it have been BH? Not convinced because tummy didn't go hard or anything... Was also being bashed about by LO so that may well have contributed.

foxybrown · 18/04/2007 09:59

morning all!

BH makes your tummy go very firm, I get them when I've done too much. I had those grumbly tummy pains yesterday at the gym. I think its just that the babies are getting big and heavy.

I was going to log on about the same time Bumper! decided to stay put and send DP to find somewhere else to sleep and take his snoring with him. Had a couple of crappy nights, but am also very tired - I think this baby is having a growth spurt. Obviously one which is going to last 10 more weeks.

Hello Westcoaster.Sorry to hear about your troubles. Do try and take it easy, and do ask for what you want.

OK, nappies to change. Parenting to do.

foxybrown · 18/04/2007 10:01

I just got a parcel... from Nappy Head ... what could it be I wonder???

Thank you to whoever sent it!!

should I open it now?? O I haven't sent mine yet, first change to do it is tomorrow ...

I think I should keep it until I send mine ...

Am very excited! How lovely!

xx to whoever!

hollyandalice · 18/04/2007 10:04

Marylou I think sometimes all your muscles get a bit tired from all the constant kicking and squirming. I get achey if lo is moving around a lot. I think it's quite hard work for ours poor uteruses to keep everything in the right place!

Bloody snoring foxy! I moved into the spare room at 3.30 last night coz I was sick of punching dp! Sometimes I just feel like putting a plastic bag over his head!

sputnik · 18/04/2007 10:05

Oh go on, open it, I wanna know!

hollyandalice · 18/04/2007 10:05

Oooo open it foxy! How exciting. I haven't sent mine yet as I'm still waiting for all the components to arrive.

hollyandalice · 18/04/2007 10:06

Sputnik that means it wasn't one of us that sent it!!!

foxybrown · 18/04/2007 10:06

hollyandalice · 18/04/2007 10:08

Nah...open it now! If mine arrived I'd open it, I'm seriously inmpatient though!

sputnik · 18/04/2007 10:09

Or we could be pretending
God I haven't even bought mine. Best get moving

hollyandalice · 18/04/2007 10:09

Inmpatient??? Interesting word, I'm obv excited for foxy and her parcel!

foxybrown · 18/04/2007 10:14

I think I'm going to wait as long as I can ... its very exciting though. Am I the first?

No, I want to wait until I've sent mine at least. I've been looking for it for a while, so tomorrow it will hopefully all come together.

Now am going to go back through this thread to see if there are any clues as to who's sent theirs already ....

And a big thanks to Mars Lady for organising it, and to whoever suggested it many posts ago. I'm so glad we did it!

foxybrown · 18/04/2007 10:28

LOL foxy, what a kind showeree you have! I was just looking on that site to see what your present was going to be and I guessed it would be that! It's soooo cool! You are going to have the trendiest baby ever! Well done for waiting so long!

Seansgirl · 18/04/2007 10:45

oooooohhhhh! Foxy! How cute and so you! Am very pleased for you

Seansgirl · 18/04/2007 10:48

Sputnik! Poor you! Hope you can explain to your MIL on the food hygiene!

Like Derlor, I feel I have to 'fess up to my training - am trained to Advanced Food Hygiene - and qualified to train Basic Food Hygiene. Eventually when LOs at school plan to take extra training to become Environmental Health Officer.

Seansgirl · 18/04/2007 10:51

You're right on the rice BW it is a bacteria called Bacillus Cereus which has spores present in the rice - if left at room temp after cooking for long periods it multiplies.

Sounds like you have escaped tho! Sorry, not meaning to worry you

sputnik · 18/04/2007 10:55

Now all you need Foxy are this and
these
