Quick reminder that here's the link to the stats sheet for those who would like to add their details: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10CI3k9Tx1O67Em0O440bVO7ByDK7MmH9iKKlfGzkjec

@MynameisJune I’m so so sorry to hear this. It could be random bleeding though which seems pretty common - can you go to the EPU to get checked today?

Impatientmummy36 · 10/10/2017 07:26

Shit June no... so sorry this is happening. It's so so cruel. The Epu will help you by confirming either way, I do hear of lots of people who have bleeds in early pregnancy and it turns out fine, but if you're certain, sometimes you just know... So so sorry love. After this happened to me last time I am also expecting this to happen to me again, and I know how terrible you must be feeling. Hope
You're being well looked after xxx

Mummyloves09 · 10/10/2017 07:29

@MynameisJune I hope it is just a random bleed. Thinking of youFlowers

Impatientmummy36 · 10/10/2017 07:34

Sorry reading back..... Imogen too, so sorry you're going through that fear. I know everyone's said it and it's true spotting is so common apparently (and especially if it's pinky brown) hope you can get yourself checked out xxx

hoopdeloop · 10/10/2017 07:34

So sorry June, hoping it’s just randomFlowers

ImogenTubbs · 10/10/2017 07:49

So sorry MynameisJune. It's so cruel. As others have said, hope it's just random, but either way, look after yourself.

hoopdeloop · 10/10/2017 07:56

Added myself to the spreadsheet. Scotland must have a different system with regards to maternity care. Their advice is as soon as you find out you’re pregnant, make an appointment with a midwife. Also we are told the hospital we will go to

RockinRobinTweets · 10/10/2017 08:53

Morning... hope the bleeding/spotting turns out to be nothing

LJFM2B · 10/10/2017 09:47

MynameisJune I'm really sorry your going through this, keep an eye on it I hope it turns out to be nothing xx

lampert · 10/10/2017 09:59

I hope it turns out to be nothing @MynameisJune. Lots of people seem to have bleeds and go on to be fine so I am crossing my fingers for you that that's the case for you. Will be thinking of you. Flowers

How are you all coping with work? I hope this exhaustion phase doesn't last too long, my productivity has tanked. I feel completely wiped out today, so tired I feel like I want to cry! How completely ridiculous and pathetic! I hardly ever get ill and I am usually of the 'just get on with it' mindset but the combination of nausea and extreme tiredness is defeating me. I really need to man up.

How are you all coping with it? Any tips?

Mummyloves09 · 10/10/2017 10:26

@lampert That sounds normal to me anyway. I can yawn up to 8 times in an hour. Seriously my work partner counted and proceeded to ask if I had a late night. I feel shattered yesterday I went to bed at 7:30pm. I hope it eases to.
I also burp constantly it's so disgusting Blush and embarrassing.

RockinRobinTweets · 10/10/2017 10:40

I'm pretty sure I'm about as productive as a sloth at the moment. Getting out of bed is a killer!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 10/10/2017 10:43

@MynameisJune oh no :( I'm so sorry to hear this - it could be nothing though. Do you mean lots of bleeding or just spotting? Crossing my fingers for you and really hoping you're OK.

Absolute crap night of sleep last night! DP and I both bottled telling MIL so that will have to be for another day. After not sleeping until nearly 6 this morning the doorbell rang at 8 with the bloke from Calor here to fix the gas - he's lovely but they definitely hadn't told us he was coming. DP still in bed (think he slept even worse than I did) so I'm shivering in the kitchen trying to make small talk Hmm

ladydolly · 10/10/2017 10:43

@lampert You hit the nail on the head how I am feeling today. I'm in a very busy period at work and so tired from the pregsomnia, I feel so sick I have to stay completely still at my desk as much as I can. I'm irrational and emotional so have to remind myself of that before over reacting to work situations. It's AWFUL. The only thing that is keeping me going is knowing that with DD I felt more human by 12 weeks and I also worked through a busy period then and survived. I outsource where I can (got a cleaner, bought readyish meals, roped in mum to help with DD) and go to bed as soon as I can, 8pm if it's a bad day.

The ONLY thing that works is the travel sickness bands, if you don't have them already do get some. I know a lot of people think it's all in the head but mine even work while I'm asleep so I don't think it's subconscious.

Anyway, anyone feeling rough you have my sympathies.

OP posts:
lampert · 10/10/2017 11:16

Thank you for the tip @ladydolly, I've just ordered some bands on amazon. Thank god for same day delivery.

Sorry that you're feeling ropey too. I'd never really given any thought to how it would be to feel unwell and have to keep it all a secret simultaneously. I've no idea how you manage with your DD too, I can barely motivate myself to look after me at the moment!! It'll be worth it in the end.

I've managed half a glass of water so far today. I know I need to drink more, and I know I'll probably feel better if I actually eat something but the thought of putting food in my mouth makes me want to run to the bathroom.

@Mummyloves09 I'm glad it's not just me with the burping! DH doesn't know what's happened to me! Grim!

Emz01 · 10/10/2017 11:46

Just added myself to the spreadsheet although still feeling super nervous about the whole thing. I suppose it’s to be expected after a MC.

Just been for another run and managed 4km, not sure how long I’m going to be able to keep this up for but hopefully for a while, easier said than done when the tiredness and sickness truly kicks in (which was about 7 weeks with DS).

@MynameisJune really sorry to hear this, if it’s only a small amount you might still be ok. I experienced this with DS and it turned out fine! Really hope you’re ok.

purplebiro · 10/10/2017 12:11

Good work @EMZ01 - I tried a run last week and my fitness was well and truly pooped by this little bean - a very slow 3km and even that was a struggle. I'm going to knock it on the head for the duration of the pregnancy and keep fit by walking to and from work (about 8-9km total) every day, I think.

Mummyloves09 · 10/10/2017 14:16

Ladies I have to confess as I can't keep this secret any longer. I know it's super early and I really shouldn't have but I bought a swing and travel cot. These two items are both a neccesity to me.
Just out of interest has anyone purchased anything baby related?

lampert · 10/10/2017 14:23

@Mummyloves09 hehe that made me chuckle, I was expecting you to have done something really naughty! I haven't really bought anything for the baby yet (though I'd be lying if I said I hadn't occasionally caught myself idly googling things before telling myself off!).

I have just bought a pregnancy exercise DVD though! Just need to find the motivation to get off my backside and try it!

ElizabethLemon · 10/10/2017 14:24

@Mummyloves09 I haven't but have been soooo tempted! I have dragged out a load of dc1's old clothes and sorted them though, I had to hide them back under the bed afterwards.

What sort of swing did you buy?

Si1ver · 10/10/2017 14:30

I'm sorry to hear that @MynameisJune I had some light bleeding last week and was despondent and terrified. It has stopped now, I hope you're ok.

I've added myself to the spreadsheet. What's the team colour thing? I'm a total newb.

I've also booked a early scan for 20/10

pulpi · 10/10/2017 14:40

So sorry to hear your news, @MynameisJune .

@hoopdeloop , are you in Scotland as well? Waves from Fife!

RockinRobinTweets · 10/10/2017 14:44

@Mummyloves09 nothing new purchased but I have the cot assembled and have done for quite a while Blush

I'm not even allowing myself to look yet, last time I was really organised and had it all worked out and then I miscarried so trying to wait until after 20 weeks in any future pregnancies before I get buying stuff. It's hard not to look though!

Mummyloves09 · 10/10/2017 14:46

@ElizabethLemon
I purchased the swing below.
