EllieK, my movements have become a lot less in the last few days. Sounds as tho this is normal for you and in general but glad you're getting it checked out. Let us know what they say. xx
We'll let you off for posting, just this once!

Katy44 · 04/04/2007 12:21

LesleyR, send your Mum up here with the Mr Muscle, please!

LesleyR · 04/04/2007 12:22

Hope it's all ok Ellie. I'm sure it will be.

EllieKthePA · 04/04/2007 12:23

not normal for me but is for the gigantic children i seem to produce!

just checked and i went in 3 days before due date with matthew, so this one is even earlier, do you think that means it's even bigger [v v scared emoticon]

Hope all goes well at the hospital Ellie. Mine has definitely slowed down alot lately, not nearly so much movement and much smaller when he does, is def the lack of room but the last 2 never slowed this much, does that mean he's much bigger
Best to get it checked though oh and good luck with the boy too!!

Pesha · 04/04/2007 12:25

Lol Ellie x posts!

octo · 04/04/2007 12:27

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well - either one of us will have to go - just hope am not in labour! If have had baby will go and take granny to look after him while me and dh go in, if not here by then will all be fine ... they do ring you back that day to tell you whether has been successful or not which is good I suppose but my goodness my stress level has just hit the roof!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ...

Think have quite a good case

  1. big brother at the school already
  2. attends village preschool
  3. attends village rising 5s
  4. cannot be at 2 schools at the same time
  5. attends village football club
  6. has made friends with other children who will be in same class
  7. have house on market
  8. offer accepted on house in that village last year, but all fell through & nothing come up since - still looking
  9. on school pta
  10. help with reading in school

Please think of anymore - I need to put a case together ...

arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Good luck for this afternoon ellie I always feel happier getting monitored

There is no way am going to get sleep this afternoon now!

CaptainDippy · 04/04/2007 12:35

[[hugs] octo - Calm down hon!! Your list is superb- I am sure it is goig to be just fine sweetie - inconvienient timing though, huh!!? [hugs]

Go and get monitored Ellie - Just oerr on the side of caution. Like you said, it is very likely to just be a lack of space ... Have you opened parcel yet????????

DD's playing in garden while waiting for daddy to get home for some dinner .....

hotlipsmummy · 04/04/2007 12:36

Ellie - I actually went in to St Thomas day assessment unit on Sat when DH was around to look after DS as I hadn't felt much movement for the previous 3 days. All ok. Same as others have said, less room and having a toddler/builders in the house etc etc meant I wasn't noticing the movements as much anyway. DS had very few movements the entire pgncy (and is a very calm toddler in comparison to some I know! ) so if it had been him I wouldn't have worried, it was just quite a change for this little one. Anyway, will stop rambling on... am sure you will be fine but it is best to get checked out just in case.

Btw - the "base" rate for the heart rate was 130-135. Isn't that boys under 140 and girls over???

EllieKthePA · 04/04/2007 12:40

SOLPL my heart is with you! Ss did a pooh in the bath yesterday- he has never done that before. He is also flatly refusing to use the loo, on accasions, which is followed by the inevitable accident! I am totally fake, and say nothing at all, but it makes me so sad.

I am sure they are just showing their feelings, but it doesn't help much does it?
This stage will soon be over. Wonderful, wonderful times ahead..

Katy44 · 04/04/2007 12:57

octo...how often?

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 04/04/2007 13:04

You are all so lovely, thank you for your words of encouragement re Becky. It is good to know I am not alone. We have just had a nice cuddle - instigated by her, so I think we are ok.

Octo, good luck with the appeal. The list you have put together is very comprehensive.
How are the contractions? Have you had the baby yet!!!

Ellie, good luck with the scan - I am sure all will be fine.

Tili, good luck with your scan as well.

WO, delighted to hear all is well with your lo after earlier troubles.

Emmymummy, blimming dh's!

Can't remember anything else - head like mush.

Hugs to all of you fab women!

octo · 04/04/2007 13:04

Think just due to stress! Have eased off now am breathing again!

nuttygirl · 04/04/2007 13:30

Well back from mw and all fine. She said baby is well down (tho notes say 3/5ths still out......was expecting it to be less cos she'd said that). Got sweep info, seems I have to ring mw next Thurs if I need one and she'll come and do it.

Hope the monitoring goes well Ellie - I got monitored on Sat and turned out baby was kicking placenta so i couldn't feel it even tho she was kicking.

Hope baby is head down on scan Tili.

Glad to hear B is cuddling you SOSPL.

EllieKthePA · 04/04/2007 13:41

just leaving, at nursery matthew had 2 helpings of roast dinner AND pudding, then still managed to eat his easter cake he'd made. no wonder he's so big!

back later x
