Ive always been abit laid back with my pill taking thinking well dont really want another baby just yet buf if it happened it'd be quite nice (in serious relationships I mean!) so now I feel another one wouldnt be quite nice I need to rethink it all, not sure Im good enough at remembering to take the pill but dont fancy anything else really! Still from what I remember after you've had the baby they go on at you about contraception quite abit so ill deal with it then!

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 23:20

i did think about the coil, or implants

OP posts:
Pesha · 03/04/2007 23:24

Did you seethe thread on here a few months back by a woman who'd just pulled her coil out in the bath

octo · 03/04/2007 23:25

Yes think they tie or cut your tubes Birdie - the other option thinking about is the coil - which is what I was doing when got pg !

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 23:25

NO! and i'd rather not thanks Pesha

octo · 03/04/2007 23:26

err changed my mind after peshas post!

Birdiebump · 03/04/2007 23:27

Was the coil at fault or was she.... really getting up there??

I have used the Copper T coil since forever and it has been wonderful although apparently not good if you get very heavy periods as it tends to make them worse. Wouldn't mind getting it again I suppose if we can't make up our minds what else to do.

Going to bed in next 15 minutes......

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 23:33

how on earth can we get from walrus' to coils so quickly

My money is still on Eddas (I still have faith) cos she's my mobile buddy and I want to post her news!

Pesha · 03/04/2007 23:45

EllieKthePA · 03/04/2007 23:47

Pesha · 03/04/2007 23:54

The junks all on the floor in my bedroom and hanging off the furniture!

Ok really going this time, 'see' you tomorrow afternoon then Ellie

weeonion · 04/04/2007 07:23

morning folks!
sorry i missed all the walrus and chop chat last night.

ange - good luck for today - another one for list?? hope it all goes ok and we will be waiting impatiently to hear!

ellie - have they discusssed the implants (implanon) with you? i know that in scotland - they are really pushing women to have that (cheap, easy, effective) but arent really discussing that it is another hormonal method(once in system - cant get it out for 3 months +). i am dreading the whole contraception chat once the bubba is out - but we will go back to our tried and tested natural method and condoms. worked for 7 years til we had this one and will do me nicely again tho' i can just imagine all the raised eyebrows from the mw.

it is due to be another beaut day up here - the sun seems to have shone for weeks! a forecast for the summer???

Eddas · 04/04/2007 07:55

Hello Still here

Katy44 · 04/04/2007 07:58

Morning everyone! Given the bakers thread, maybe the next thread title should be "Buns in the oven, browning nicely, ready in exactly 20 minutes"
Eddas, I didn't get the cheapskate reference either - must be something to do with you not having had it yet (have you, by the way??), can someone please explain?

Eddas · 04/04/2007 08:00

Ellie, PMSL at the other thread on perterntiy leave!!!! And you said I was bad. See she's one of those dim people I was talking about and I agree clearly didn't like the first response she got so asked again Afraid she won't be able to change fact!!! Not sure she appreciated lots of people slating her 'the 2nd's not likely to be late' comment, but FFS, what an ass!!!!
