We are also doing BLW and Thea loves her food (just like mummy and daddy!) which is good as she has her two front teeth to chomp through stuff.

Hi I am also still here! (Well just got the emails saying this thread had been updated!) Nice to hear how everyone is getting on! Sounds like everyone is doing really well (aside from the sleep issues but hey!)

E is now nearly 10 months Shock Shock and I'm just starting to think about the logistics of going back to work and her starting nursery in a few weeks time Sad I have no idea where the time has gone either!!

We have also done full BLW MrsG and Kav it's messy but so much fun! I love seeing their little personalities develop as they start to have favourite foods etc. I find it does take up a lot of time though, sometimes I feel like all I'm doing is feeding her! Luckily she's finally stopped boobing quite so much in the last month or so so that helps make it feel like there's a bit more time!

E learnt to crawl at the weekend so that's a whole new world of fun here!

Kav you're doing well to have figured out how to pee, I still struggle with that if we're out and about I end up not going for ages! Haha.

Hope the sleep and early wakes improve for everyone soon. We'd started a few weeks of better sleeps but now seem to be back to 5.30am starts Hmm

Hope everyone has a good weekend - any exciting plans? We have the grandparents staying so lots of playing plus hopefully DH and I can get out for a date night! Wink

Hi @marmitecheesetoast and @MrsG280516 too! How funny to think we were all TTC together, it feels like a lifetime ago. I think if I could go back I'd wait a bit longer and not stress so much, this is tough! I love my lo to pieces though. We are going on our first family holiday next week - nervous but excited!!

marmitecheesetoast · 04/03/2018 17:48

I know @anotherexhaustedpigeon where has the time gone!! We’ve got the first of our NCT babies’ 1st birthdays next week! Shock

Ooh exciting where are you off on holiday? You’ll have a great time. It’s just nice to get away even if you’re still sleep deprived Wink We had our first family holiday to Dorset last September it was really lovely to spend time together away from the house and all the jobs I felt like I should be doing!

Have had a tryjng few days - E has learnt how to pull herself up in the cot which is making nap times even more tricky than usual! Hmm

Hope everyone has had a good weekend Smile

Wow @marmitecheesetoast one already?! We're off to Canary Islands for some sun and I cannot wait. Of course I'm the one packing for two while DH has an early night because he's tired - wtf? I know I should be feeling proud of my body for making and sustaining life, but I can't help but be dissatisfied - I feel like I just look 'mumsy' now!

Hello everyone, how are we all doing? We are past the 8 month point now and Thea started crawling last week so it's a whole new world of fun and games now. She is still growing like a weed but I'm wondering if she'll stop gaining such big chunks of weight now she's moving more. Anyone else's LO stop gaining weight as much between 8-12 months? She's already 21lbs 1oz at 36 weeks!
