Hey everyone! It's just one baby, all confirmed. We are a little gutted as twins would have been amazing but we are equally relieved as the risks with the type of twins they thought were so high. So it's good news overall. One healthy baby so far. Measuring at 9+4 now! So I've gained a day! Amazing to see little arms and legs this time!

Zaberwocky · 14/05/2017 11:40

Awh Blue that's still fab news though Smile I'm so glad it all went well!

Zaberwocky · 14/05/2017 11:41

Yesterday I managed half a wrap in Nando's Grin I would like the other half now. But noooooo Nando's has to be an hour away and not sell half a wrap at a time Angry

glastogal · 14/05/2017 11:43

Hooray for a healthy, wriggling, baby mrsB 🎉🎉 I'm sure it's a little disappointing not to have twins but you won't miss the extra worry that comes with multiples. It's marvellous your little one gave you a wave 😁

Oysterbabe · 14/05/2017 12:00

Glad the scan went well Bluebell!
I have mine this week and bricking it that there'll be nothing in there!

MontyPants · 14/05/2017 12:12

Congratulations on a healthy baby Bluebell!

ScotsLamb · 14/05/2017 12:13

Excellent news Bluebell.

MontyPants · 14/05/2017 12:14

Oyster I had an early scan at just over 6 weeks, so I know there IS a baby in there, but I guess I have an irrational fear about the 12 week scan. I guess we are always going to worry. I'm sure it's normal. Fingers crossed that all is ok xx

CarlottaJo · 14/05/2017 12:21

Congratulations Bluebell, glad that your little bean is doing well, and you'll always have an exciting story to tell them about their early days. I've just had an awful argument with OH, can't decide if I'm in the right or just being an irrational hormonal ars*hole :/

feelingcalledlove · 14/05/2017 12:23

Excellent news MrsB. It must be a little disappointing after the possibility of twins was raised but as you say, at least it means you don't have the extra anxiety and risks.

I caved and booked an early scan for 25th May (I think I'll be 9+1 then). Excited and terrified in equal measure!

Lolabee · 14/05/2017 12:36

Yay MrsB that's excellent 😀

Carley27 · 14/05/2017 12:51

Congrats bluebell, so glad the scan went well!

Monty I feel the same - I thought after seeing there was actually a baby in there I would worry less but unfortunately not!

MaryShelley1818 · 14/05/2017 12:59

Awww huge congratulations on your scan for your healthy little baby Bluebell xx

Angielka · 14/05/2017 13:19

Happy for you bluebell!

Peachi82 · 14/05/2017 13:40

After I felt too good yesterday, I'm so sleepy and lazy today... Nausea not back yet, but tired tired tired tired. Just sent my boyfriend to the shops, I need grapes :-D He asked me whether I want them with gravy, but I'm not crazy!!!

Still holding back regarding a reassurance scan, I see how I feel after the midwife appointment next Friday and what she says. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow, so the regular scan can't be too far away now.

Viewing our house again tonight, hoping to exchange next week and need to make sure it's still all as we have agreed on it. The seller wasn't really happy with the viewing request, but I think it's just normal that you want to see it again. We made our offer in February (after a quick 15 minutes view), I hope I still find the way - haha.

Zaberwocky · 14/05/2017 13:49

Ohhhh Peachi ! I think you'd be normal if you wanted to see it 12 times Grin

I hate eBay. I suggest none of you use it. It's horribly addictive for baby things you don't need to buy yet!

I just bought a complete set of tots bots stretch nappies Blush with wraps and all. For £40... it was a bargain in my defence. And they were apparently only used once and they just didn't get on with them...

Brens13 · 14/05/2017 14:29

Haha zaber I love your shopping hints and tips! The second I have that first scan I'll be right with you.

Congrats MrsB happy news of a healthy baby. They'll just have to wait a bit longer for a brother or sister 😜

Zaberwocky · 14/05/2017 14:34

No Brens 😂 You do NOT want to be like me. I think it's all that's getting me through the morning sickness, the looking forward to the arrival of the baby+postman.

What's weird is I normally loathe shopping...

Brens13 · 14/05/2017 14:47

Ah well I shopping, well I love new things lol. I just can't wait to have an excuse! I haven't had any sickness so can't use that as one yet...

glastogal · 14/05/2017 17:21

Well my pram window shopping continues.. my favourite silver cross pioneer doesn't fit in the boot of my car 😫 (well, the chassis does but not with the seat or carrycot or any shopping) back to the drawing board. Thank goodness I have a really long time to figure this out 😂

Carley27 · 14/05/2017 17:23

Glasto will be interested to hear what you go for - the Silver Cross Pioneer is my favourite at the moment but I suspect we will run into boot problems too. We need a new car before baby arrives but I don't want anything too big or I will never manage to park..

CarlottaJo · 14/05/2017 17:30

I'm just waiting for delivery of my new car. It's only a little Clio with a 300L boot, think it's going to make pram shopping a challenge 🙈 what do you girls have?

Lolabee · 14/05/2017 17:42

I see silver cross everywhere so I'm taking it as a sign!! I don't notice others

CarlottaJo · 14/05/2017 17:45

This is my preferred choice Grin

Zaberwocky · 14/05/2017 17:55

Glasto I'm half tempted to buy two to be honest 😂 I've been browsing, but can't find anything that suits running/public transport/fits in the car.

A teeny part of me thinks an all in one travel system would be easier. But they don't seem running friendly and tend to be pretty heavy!
