I can see them @Tiger. A line is a line :)

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/05/2017 16:36

With dd i didn't test again after i got my bfp.. its the IC thats negative and made me worry and i know they are cheap and crap but the fact it's negative makes me think ill have a cp soon

pebble82 · 12/05/2017 16:43

Don't worry! 15DPO is still early for really strong lines and this is clearly positive. Everyone is different and every test is different.

My friend didn't get a BFP at all until she was a week past AF due date and she's 27 weeks now!

StylishDuck · 12/05/2017 20:13

Blue they're definitely positive. Wait a few days and test again but don't worry.

I'm in the pot belly club too! With my first I didn't show until I was nearly 5 months! I'm not even 6 weeks and I've got definite rounding. Probably doesn't help that I hadn't quite lost all my baby weight from last time mind you Blush I was trying on a tankini because we're going on holiday with PIL in a few weeks and I was thinking I'm glad we've told them already because it's going to be bloody obvious!

Waitingonasmile · 12/05/2017 20:44

Does anyone know roughly how many extra appointment you get when consultant led? Or when they would start. I was told I would be because I had PE but no idea what that'll mean.

flossyfloss · 12/05/2017 21:22

Bluespottytiger - my frers never got darker much more than that and I read online they're notorious for not very dark lines xx

flossyfloss · 12/05/2017 21:24

I think consultant led is 2 extra appts unless there are problems in between. Mine was one around 12 weeks and another around 38-39 weeks xx

questsabelletreetop · 12/05/2017 21:25

Hiya ladies,
So exciting seeing all these BFP!! The list is so long!
Do most of you have a bit of nausea by now? This is my 3rd dc and I had HG last time. Wracking my brains to think of when it started- I'm terrified of getting so ill, especially since I'm supposed to be in NYC in two weeks time!

Only symptoms I've had so far are weird dreams, headaches and very tired in the evenings, I'm praying the sickness spares me. Anyone know when I should expect HG to start if it's coming?

questsabelletreetop · 12/05/2017 21:27

I'm 5+3 btw, edd Jan 10thSmile

mrsb87 · 12/05/2017 21:54

quest I had HG last time too, bfp on Sunday, started vomiting yesterday at about 5+3. It's about the same time as last pregnancy. I've spoken to my GP and we agreed to put me straight on the meds that helped me last time, pre-emptively, in the hope I don't get anywhere near as I'll as last time!

pebble82 · 12/05/2017 22:21

Oh Mrsb you poor thing. I remember how awful it was for you last time. Hope the early intervention from the GP helps.

I can't figure out if I feel a bit sick or if I'm just hungry/too hot. I have random twinges in my abdomen which I assume is just things preparing for growth. I'm on major crotch watch (tmi?) praying never to see any worrying spotting.

mrsb87 · 12/05/2017 22:24

Last pregnancy was horrendous, I'm doing everything I can to enjoy this pregnancy! I've had a few twinges too pebble, nothing down low though?

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/05/2017 22:26

My HG started somewhere from 4.5weeks to 6 weeks and lasted until i was about 8months..i was prescribed cyclizine but never took them as i don't do tablets..
Fx your feeling well for your trip xx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/05/2017 22:30

And thanks for the reassurance Smile
I can't make appointment for booking in until monday but im wondering if I'll be high risk/consultant because of the pe last time too so no idea xx

Roseandbee · 12/05/2017 22:50

Blue here is my frer vs IC taken yesterday at 14dpo on a 28 day cycle. The IC is much much fainter

Thanks for the welcome everyone

And hi sophsta from the pma thread:) I'm still really undecided what to do about telling people. I do want to tell the parents early, but can't decide how early. None of them know we were ttc

Flyingsproket and Sophsta, I cycle a lot too! My DH takes the car to work during the week, so I don't have any other way to get to places.

Fattycowagain · 13/05/2017 05:53

I gather IC stands for internet cheapy? To me IC means shoes! Grin

Neavesa · 13/05/2017 06:06

Lol @fattycowagain every time I see IC I read it as irregular choice Smile

ndo4000 · 13/05/2017 06:52

Blue I did 2 ICs at the same time on 14dpo and they came out difference colours! Even the control line looks different on each one!

Sophsta · 13/05/2017 07:06

Hi Roseandbee! My DH has said he would be really mad if I told my mum as he wants to be there to see her reaction. Going to have everything to keep my mouth shut.

Waitingonasmile · 13/05/2017 07:32

Thank Flossie. That's not as bad as I expected was worried about missing work.

Blue I also did two different ICs one day apart and one was much lighter than the other. When I did another one out same batch it was darker again. I think they vary loads.

5 weeks today! Love looking at the pictures of changes going on in there.

flossyfloss · 13/05/2017 08:07

I had the most bizarre life like dream last night that I had a scan and there were clearly 2 sacs Confused one sac had 6 babies in it and the other had 2! Me and my dp were devastated as we can't afford that many children - i woke up in a panic!!! We are both worried about multiples as we have conceived with fertility meds - 10 days to the scan! I'm super nervous!

PolkaDotFlamingo · 13/05/2017 08:09

Thank you for the welcome. I feel awful but I think I felt this bad last time and basically just slept for a week and then came out of the fog into just sickness. Clinging onto that! We wont be telling until at least 12 weeks. I'm sure I will balloon like before but I'll just wear baggy clothes!

Kilicat · 13/05/2017 08:33

Welcome and congratulations on all the bfps to all those recently joined.

Got some serious bloat going on here as well (or maybe just piling on the pounds as eating keeps the nausea away). None of my work skirts or trousers are comfy anymore, but have been a bit tight since Ds.

Bethany891 · 13/05/2017 08:36

@BlueeSpottyTiger there is a definite line in both this is a clear blue test I took the day my period was due the faint cross line is the pregnant line I had scan last week at 6 weeks and all is fine 😊 a line is a line 👶
