Definitely definitely agree with soda on the epidural. I did 26 hours of back to back labour before getting one installed, and the relief was tangible. Whilst gas and air is awesome, labour pain was, obviously painful, but handleable (is that a word?) It was the exhaustion that got me. I had 3 minute apart contractions from the very first one. No build up at all. If you start getting tired, take the drugs, it's so worth it.
Hiiiiii soda we miss you! L is amazing, the absolute love of my life! Starting to get his little personality now too, he is going to be a cheeky little handful I reckon, definitely likes his own way! He's 4.5 months and we're just about to start thinking about weaning too. The fun! Are you doing BLW? Glad A is behaving with sleep, L has, so far, missed that memo. But we're in the middle of 4 month sleep regression I think, I've given up in the cot and have been bed sharing. Also found out the reason for his poor weight gain, he was tongue tied which wasn't diagnosed till a fortnight ago, had it cut and life is different again! I will tell everyone hi for you. I'm so glad you're on here, I didn't want to lose touch!
music it's possible your kitty is aware you're pregnant and is bringing you gifts to fatten you up because she thinks you're a rubbish hunter. But I completely sympathise, our girl used to bring all sorts in. Hightlight was a live bat.
Beautiful scan dixie another vote for boy!
marmite I was worried about being induced and was 5 days overdue. But honestly, your body will do what it wants come the time, go with the flow, be vocal and have someone to advocate your preferences, but don't get too hung up on the ideal birth. I'd still be in labour now if I'd insisted on staying non-medicated lol. You will be awesome and wonderful whatever happens. Thinking of you!
