good morning folks!!!!!

happy birthday to ange - hope suitable pampering is gonna take place..

GMM - poor you. at least its yr last day so make the most of it - get them to wait on you hnd , foot and bashed shin! under the duvet with trashy dvds from 2morro on! (isnt anjo's baby the most lovely wee thing!!)

Bramshott · 28/02/2007 10:33

Happy Birthday AngeG!

Very of all those finishing work today or soon. Mind you, I have revised my plans and am going to try and finish by the 16th now.

Finally went to the doctors about my achey leg this morning and she was very reassuring - doesn't think it's another DVT or anything sinister, probably just the baby pressing on a nerve. These babies eh - they just find the most uncomfortable position, with maximum nerves etc, and settle down there!!

Octopussy - I laughed out loud yesterday at your description of your DS wanting to come out and watch Top Gear!!

Ooh, feel all excited and happy this morning (dunno why - loads to do!). I wonder which of us will get to meet our baby (or babies) first?!?

Eddas · 28/02/2007 10:34

Hensden, East Farleigh, what about you?

Did live in Tovil until July

Birdiebump · 28/02/2007 10:43

Sure I won't be first, Bramshott, cos I'm always late anyway, but I might put a couple of squid on my LO being the porker of the thread (altho might be a little smaller cos of being a girl?). Midwife has already said "she's not small" and so far I've had a 9lb-er and a 10lb-er - omg what if she's 11lb??!!

Anyone else expecting quite a big one?

bubblez · 28/02/2007 10:47

Morning all,

'APPY BIRFDAY 2 YOU, 'APPY BIRFDAY 2 YOU, 'APPY BIRFDAY DEAR ANGEGGGGGGGGGGGG, 'APPY BIRFDAY 2 UUUUUUUUUUU!!! Hope you have a good one, with lots of pampering...

CONGRATULATIONS to all those having their last days today.... sorry to hear Gmm's has been tearful one, don't worry hun it will soon be over!

SOSPL sorry bout the hicup in your dc's dry nights.... Mia still hasn't got to that stage yet she's only dry in the day, then she waits till night to do a poo in her nappy... hey ho will get there in the end!!.... oh and big thumbs up on your consultants check up going well and baby being head down...

Lets hope all those lo's with their heads down stay that way..... crosses fingers

BTW am very proud to say that my dd has just had her second sucessful night in her own room... despite her over protective, smothering mother worrying all night about her being 'so far' away...

34+2
xzx

Eddas · 28/02/2007 10:47

Pleeeeease let me be first dd was 2 weeks late and am really looking forward to not being late!!!!

I don't think this baby will be small mw told me dd would be bigger than 8lbs but she was 2 weeks late and only 7lbs14, nearly 8lbs but was late. Think she just had a big head LOL

Eddas · 28/02/2007 10:48

Bubblez, well done on dd in her own room. How old is she? We out dd in her own room at about 3 months

bubblez · 28/02/2007 10:49

Sorry it's smole that had the good news at the consultants CONGRATS TO SMOLE ..... fingers crossed baby stays head down..xx

How poor am I at keeping up.... getting it all arse upwards

bubblez · 28/02/2007 10:50

Eddas - dd is 3years and two months I knoow I'm soooooooooo bad She was still more ready to go in her own room then I was to let her go... oh the shame

AngeG · 28/02/2007 10:50

Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone. Just sitting here with a nutella sandwich

Nothing exciting happening, no surprise deliveries

Smole - you can join me and isabellymoi if you like as a 3some

Bramshott - Glad your mind has been put at rest about the pain in your leg.

Have managed to avoid cramp this time round so far...but got it terribly in the night first time. It really is horrible. DH always had to flex my foot for me to help it go off. Aches for days afterwards though. Sorry for the ramble, sympathy to those suffering.

Congrats to all those finishing for ML today or soon Not happening for me yet.

I also need a good list of what to pack in my bag for c-section being an emergency one last time I just had to rely on family, but I want to be organised this time.

Hensden wireless modems are fab wouldn't be without mine now. Although lap top does often nearly get kicked on the floor

Tili - Definitly try for ML from housework

Will be back later unless some birthday surprise is sprung on me...ha ha ha I should be so lucky.

xx

Eddas · 28/02/2007 10:54

Bless you bubblez, must be really hard to let her go now. Couldn;t be doing with dd in my room she'd drive me nuts and i'd get left on the floor as she'd cuddle daddy all night

AngeG · 28/02/2007 10:58

Bubblez thanks for the singing
Big pat on the back for you putting your DD into her own room. Sounds like you need the praise more than she does

Don't think I'll be entering the biggest baby stakes not after my effort last time.

Might make the first one born if I'm lucky and no one goes early Section hopefully end of March beginning of April.

1becomes3 · 28/02/2007 11:05

Happy birthday AngeG hope you have a fantastic day.

and a big for all of you who's last day at work it is.

WO- thanks for the video recieved it today, will be heading round to my mums to watch it.

It turns out that I need a new washing machine, fantastic timing, it's not all bad thought it means that DH has put the flooring back down in the utility room and I FINALLY have my dishwasher back

I think I will get and huge industrial size washing machine this time round.
I think with the amount I already have wash I will need it with 2 more lot's of mucky baby clothes.

Pesha- what are your date for baby, and are you having a c-section?

bubblez · 28/02/2007 11:07

Thank you both .... The first night I didnt sleep a wink (even though she is just next door and both doors were open) I spent the whole night worrying that I wouldn't be able to hear her... last night was better tho

The thing is I was prepared to keep her in my room with the newborn until I felt that she would understand that she is not being replaced etc (or until I felt ready).... but she kept insisting that she wanted to sleep in her room... Its funny though, I never thought that I would be such an over protective (smothering) mother....

I dont think I will have biggest baby (midwife thinks this one will be 6lb).... maybe the smallest?!!? doubt it though.
Fingers crossed I'm one of the first tho... although WCL is down as due first.

1becomes3 · 28/02/2007 11:08

Missed your post first time round smole, great news about baby.

You must have got lost somewhere along the way on the buddy list But don't worry we will sort you out with a buddy just give me your dates and type of birth.

bubblez · 28/02/2007 11:10

1becomes3 · 28/02/2007 11:13

Don't worry bubblez I have you down, you will all be sorted soon.

Birdiebump · 28/02/2007 11:20

Sorry Ange! Forgot to wish you a very happy Birthday!!! . Don't envy you your nutella sandwich tho - can't stand the stuff!! I am mainly right now enjoying McCoys Cheddar & Onion crisps....

Re first to pop - won't it be you 1B3 with your twins? I know Ooogs is due the same day as me (12th) and wants her twins naturally as well so they might come early...

Still fancy me for biggest baby tho!!

AngeG · 28/02/2007 11:26

Thanks birdiebump

Ooh yes I'd forgotten about the twin births. They might well beat me.

I'm seeing the MW today so will ask for a size estimate

1becomes3 · 28/02/2007 11:27

The average time for DT's is 34 weeks, so Oooggs is just about there, I'm not far off, my mum seems to think that I will be having them on thursday! She's been reading her stars

CaptainDippy · 28/02/2007 11:29

Woah - Soooo many posts since yesterday a/n!!! Just about caught up - ish.

I have been a cheeky mare today and have told two people that I have been asked to work this a/n and could they have respective DD's. I am not working at all - I JUST WANT A BREAK!!!!!!!!!! Is that really bad?? I just want an a/n to myself, sitting in bed, reading a book, drinking hot choc and perhaps watching a DVD - that sort of thing. I feel really guilty, esp as the person who is having DD2 is a teacher and is in the middle of writing reports and wasn't overly keen on having her and only said she would do it if "I couldn't find someone else" (which I could - I did try!!) I feeeeeel bad!! Eeeeek! Looking forward to it though .....

Ahem.

Happy Birthday Ange!!!!! Hope you have a super super lovely day today sweetie and get spoiled rotten - Any plans? It's my dad's Birthday today - I sent him a tie (very original) and the girls sent him an adoption thingy for a Cockroach called Eric at the Zoo we went to with ihm when he visited last Friday!! He gets a certifcate and a special plaque and everything - Tee! Hee!

Great news about the consultant appt Smole - Go Baby Go!! Wish mine would turn - still oblique!! What about your Emmy - do you think your bubs is still transverse??

@ your HUGE bubbas BB!!!! Hope this one is a reasonable size - You will be ok though - your body is obviously designed for the big 'uns!! DD1 was 8lb and full-term and DD2 was 4lb 6oz and 4 weeks early, so full term, I guess I have "average" ones - hoping for a nice big-ish, healthy one this time ....

octopussyintummy · 28/02/2007 11:31

My last was 10lbs - and this one is measuring 3 weeks ahead in size - will give you run for money Birdie! Hopefully at scan tomorrow they will be able to give me good idea of birth weight

Must go get ds2 from playgroup ... think will be making dens this afternoon in their bedrooms to keep them occupied!!!

Will catch up tonight xoxoxoxox

CaptainDippy · 28/02/2007 11:34
