Haha this thread has become like a little diary for me ,, bet you're all feeling like you're getting to know me pretty well 😂😂😂 #overshare

Mrs5boys · 23/01/2017 17:27

Mamas and papas have a sale , not many clothing bits left but I got this sleepsuit that was £6.60 from £22 for a gift for a friend , well worth a look 👍🏻

Mrs5boys · 23/01/2017 17:28

Obviously they have other things like nursery furniture , changing mats etc but I only browsed the clothes quickly !

Sixisthemagicnumber · 23/01/2017 17:47

Yes, lots in common mrs5boys. My MIL didn't even come to our wedding or any of our children's christenings. She has been to stay over with is a few times over the years but only because we live in the city where she used to live and she wanted somewhere to stay to visit friends. I remain civil to her but we will never be friends, especially as she can't even be bothered to address my children by name and instead calls them the 'oldest boy or the nice boy' etc.
No doubt she will still be unhappy that we haven't told her I am
Pregnant though 🙄

Mrs5boys · 23/01/2017 17:55

Wow families hey !!! I class my family as those in my household , any other family members are a bonus ! 😊

PegglePaw · 23/01/2017 18:22

Thank you biscuit and I hope all goes well for you tomorrow Smile x

Bloopbleep · 24/01/2017 14:34

Gosh I thought my mil was bad but she's nothing like pp's - I guess I should be greatful. This baby round she'll be more available and she's already planning on when she'll be here. She even bought a flat nearby so she can visit more often... this should be a good thing but as I'm not good enough for her bunnywunny (son) I'm dreading it.

Babybiscuit1 · 24/01/2017 19:19

All went well at 20wk scan today and she reckons we are having a baby girl.

I have to go back for a 34 week scan as the placenta is slightly over the cervix, hopefully will correct itself or c section for me.

MoonlightMojitos · 24/01/2017 20:07

Congrats baby, I'm the same with the placenta scan. I hear the majority of them do move though so fx!

I've come down with an awful cold overnight and feeling very sorry myself. Baby is moving really well though so obvs not bothering him! I can't belive how active he is the last few days. I was meant to start my exercise class tonight but curled up on the sofa instead.

Hope everyone else is well.

SuperManStoleMyPants · 25/01/2017 09:36

Hello! Can I join? I feel I'm lacking somewhat at this pregnancy lark...I've only just started to believe that it's happening tbh.

I'm 20+1 and due 13/06. It's my first. My 20 week scan is next Monday but we won't be finding out the sex. For some reason I seem to have convinced myself it's a little girl, I have to stop myself from saying she and her, but when corrected to 'It' it seems harsh! I'm getting kicks everyday and my sense of smell is out of this world which really doesn't help with sickness!

Hope you're all doing well!

Welcome superman I've replied to your pm x

Can your friends list not see private groups you've joined then? I'm not very Favebook savvy Blush

I'm really struggling with tiredness and motivation at the moment. I feel a bit sorry for DS because this week we've done absolutely nothing and last week wasn't great either, I'm thinking of mentioning it to my midwife and seeing if she thinks I need tests done. Is anyone else constantly exhausted? I don't remember feeling like this last time.

SuperManStoleMyPants · 25/01/2017 11:13

Thanks VeganMama83 I've replied. Smile

PegglePaw · 25/01/2017 11:17

I'm also constantly exhausted 20+6 working earlies and lates at work all mixed throughout the week and I think it's not helping. Looking forward to Mat leave so much already Sad . I've been told it passes and there's an engery boost coming up so fingers crossed mermaid x

VeganMama83 · 25/01/2017 11:49

mermaid it's secret not private so only group members can see what's in the group. It can't be searched for

Moonlight I did the naughty yesterday and googled low placentas I know it doesn't do any good! The only information my sonographer gave me (and she was quite blaise about it) was that it covered the cervix slightly but she was hopeful it would move and all I needed to do was book a 34 wk scan. Were you told any other information?

MoonlightMojitos · 25/01/2017 12:58

No, I was literally told nothing! She said mine was very close to my cervix so I'd have to book for another scan to check it's moved out the way and that the majority for them do so nothing to worry about. Like you though I also Googled it afterwards and have read scary things about bleeds and people being told to avoid sex etc but I didn't have any of that advice so just carrying on as normal for now and will check with the midwife at my 25 week appointment if she says anything about it.

22+0!

Babybiscuit1 · 25/01/2017 13:41

moonlight sounds like same as I have experienced, yeah I was planning on asking midwife at 25wks too. I also read about bleeds and avoiding sex and exericise but like you wasn't advised that.

CharMamaof2 · 25/01/2017 20:53

Hi, my first post on NM and thought I would pop a message on to say hello. Due the 17th June with my 3rd baby, 20 week scan on Tuesday! Can't believe how much quicker this pregancy is going...!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 26/01/2017 07:57

We're due date buddies charmama Smile

CharMamaof2 · 26/01/2017 18:36

Hi Sixisthemagicnumber. We were originally the 16th, but the 12 week scan put us back by a day. How are you feeling?

Sixisthemagicnumber · 27/01/2017 07:10

charmama I've been feeling okay since I got over the nausea at about 15 weeks. The problem is that I am constantly ravenous now and can't stop eating. I'm going to be the size of a house by the time baby arrives if I don't restrain my eating soon 😳. Also in the last couple of days I have developed a red itchy rash all
Over my face - not the pregnancy glow I was hoping for!

VeganMama83 · 28/01/2017 05:23

Just getting ready for work. Moving was stressful. First van load wasn't taken to the new house until after 2pm (we were meant to be completely out of the house by then!).

Add two boisterous boys (3 and 2yo) to the mix and you can imagine what time I first got to sit down. Kitchen is the only room completely unpacked and organised so far 🙈

So much to do!

Hope everyone is well.

Good luck with the move Vegan it's stressful at the best of times.
I'm having a puking relapse this week - after 2 weeks of feeling much better and only puking twice in that time, nausea back since Tuesday and have been sick 3 times. Hoping it's just temporary.
5 days to go until the scan - currently looking forward to it but I'll be a nervous wreck by Wednesday night.
19+5
