All seemed well at the scan which has put my mind at rest!

20 Week scan on Jan 5th! Who fancies having a guess for now!?...

Congrats mamushka and raspberry on your scans! Raspberry I can't guess from your photo as I can't make out a clear nub but lovely pic :)

Sauvignonismysaviour · 15/11/2016 11:39

4th thread already, aren't we doing well!

Great to hear of all the scans (and see the pics), very exciting! I'm 13 weeks today and finally have my scan tomorrow, so feeling that combination of excited but very nervous and just hoping it all goes well.

I am also freezing all the time, but then again I always have been so nothing new! Yes yes also to the terrible searing pain when sneezing - I really thought something awful was happening til I googled it. Has anyone else been suffering random insomnia and headaches?

Got a little bump here, can still fit in my jeans but only for a few hours without getting uncomfortable. So I bought a couple pairs of next size up leggings from primark last week and am living in them - the cozy ones - they are lovely and soft and comfy and only a fiver.

Second trimester ahoy!

Badgerbird · 15/11/2016 12:16

Congrats on lovely scans and good luck to those waiting! Smile

I had mine yesterday and am so thrilled we've made it this far. Our little bean was having an upside down nap! EDD 26/5/17. I want to tell the entire world now. I'm so relieved and excited!!

newbie it's one of my first symptoms and I still get it now. I find I get it when I haven't eaten recently or drank enough water. The food thing seems weird but it tends to get rid of it for me.

Great scan news!

mamushka it's good that they will try again my scan letter said that they wouldn't if they didn't get a reading and just offer the later blood test. And you get a bonus scan! Smile

Barnes79 · 15/11/2016 12:44

So pleased for everyone who had a good scan today. Mines Thursday afternoon - this week is dragging!!!

Spam88 · 15/11/2016 13:01

All was well with my scan! So relieved! Baby was wriggling around having a lovely time lol. A few days further along than we thought so due date is now 19th May.

Adventure I am indeed in Wales, can't beat a good cwtch :p

Raspberry Great scan pic and glad everything's ok! My 20 week scan is the same date as yours as well.

EsmesBees · 15/11/2016 13:02

Really great news on all the scans.

Flingmoo · 15/11/2016 13:22

Here's my picture! I think it's not clear enough for guesses on gender?! It is waving its hand nicely though Grin

Ah lovely scan pictures, surely everyone has been scanned by now?

lucieloos · 15/11/2016 13:40

Brilliant news on all the scans today!

Mine went well too although such a naughty baby we had to go in and out 3 times as it was wriggling so much and doing handstands and in every position apart from the one she needed! I'm still measuring 5 days ahead so am now officially 13w2d instead of 12w4d and my due date has been put forward to 21st may from 25th. She eventually managed to measure the nuchal which was 1.8mm so all good. Got a consultant appt booked in for 16 weeks for them to assess if I'm to be midwife or consultant led and then 20 week scan on 3rd Jan! Such a relief to get all that done and we can now start to tell people!

Brilliant news on all the scans!

FoxMulder · 15/11/2016 14:47

Yay, congratulations on the good scans mamushka, raspberry, badger, spam and lucie. They're coming thick and fast!

Thanks for the leggings tip jingles. I didn't realise anywhere did tall AND maternity combined!

MrsJW15 · 15/11/2016 14:51

Congratulations on all the lovely scans!

Flingmoo · 15/11/2016 16:03

It was lovely to finally tell my family. I even went to visit my dad at work, I bought my 2 year old along and got him to announce it for me - "grandad, mummy got baby in her tummy!" Grin

When I showed my lovely toddler the ultrasound scan picture at first he thought it was a dinosaur Shock But when I told him it's a baby and pointed out the head, little hand, tummy etc he broke into a big smile and said "Oh, that's MY baby!" Smile Heart = melted. It actually will be his baby, that's why we decided to have a second one, so he could have a little sibling. Smile

RasperryInAMelon · 15/11/2016 16:45

Mamushka we had a similar reaction from our friends little one - apparently I have a dragon in my tummy!

Now she just goes totally silent on me when we talk to her about it!

EsmesBees · 15/11/2016 16:47

Oh Mamushka that is so sweet.

Flingmoo · 15/11/2016 17:18

Rasperry A dragon, heehee! You'll have to call it your little dragon from now on until it has a name Grin

Barnes79 · 15/11/2016 17:57

Tea I'm still waiting for mine - it's on Thursday afternoon and it can't come soon enough. Current EDD is 28th May but don't know what it'll be after Thurs.

Am I the last person waiting for their scan? Anyone else??

growcookeat · 15/11/2016 18:13

Lovely news on all the scans! Such a nice feeling to be able to tell people.

I've signed up to yoga later this week so hopefully will feel better after some stretching and breathing.

I know we've a long way to go but I can't stop looking online at prams and travel systems etc - there's so much choice, it's confusing! When is everyone going to start buying things?!

RasperryInAMelon · 15/11/2016 18:21

Grow I'm hoping to see what the Jan sales bring!

mightymouse76 · 15/11/2016 18:23

Evening all, so so good to see all the positive scans!
I've been a bit quiet on here as have been pretty fearful the hideous allergic reaction I had at 6 weeks was going to have caused damage, but I also had my nhs scan yesterday and harmony results today, and it's all looking good!! Low risk on harmony, not bad for an old bird.
lucie our dates are now the same : )
I think I was at the back of the bus originally but have moved up a few seats and am 13.2 today.

Is anyone still feeling sick? I know we had some poorly souls in our group.
I still feel sick all day, but it's become more background over the last 4 days, rather than the 'oh my god kill me now' levels of the last two months. So that's a bonus!!

I'm rubbishly only on mobile for now so can't start it myself but shall we attempt a new list of members? It would be lovely to see the new order of dates and the size of the group.

Oh and before I forget...it's a boy!!! I've got the clearest, funniest willy pic ever from the scan. Just as well, because being named after the Liverpool football manager would have been a tough gig for a girl...

Good luck for Thursday Barnes

trinityrabbit · 15/11/2016 18:37

Great news on all the scans. Makes me even more excited to see you all getting them too..we are properly on the journey now! Only one more day to wait barnes

I am definitely getting a bump/fatter which is not going away in the mornings anymore...13w6 today!

teainbed · 15/11/2016 18:38

Hang in there Barnes!

EsmesBees · 15/11/2016 19:25
