lucie Yes, me! I have the bump (and growing) and tender boobs, but no nausea, not feeling the flutters, not mega hungry anymore (can last until lunch!), not fatigued out. And yes to pulling and cramping and back pain, i'm experiencing that too. I can't stop worrying.

I went to my first pregnancy yoga class last night, most women were 30weeks plus, it definitely put my complaints into perspective though. Should enjoy being able to move and cycle and do my toe nails etc while I still can.

savagehk · 01/12/2016 10:26

I cycled up to due date last time ImYourWoman - you might be able to too :) (I might add you get a lot slower... I'm already feeling like a tortoise and have to cycle in lower gear than normal.) having a bike with an adjustable saddle height helps!

lucieloos · 01/12/2016 10:37

Thanks savage and jonsnow that helps put my mind at rest a little. I'm thinking of getting another private scan next weekend. I was probably going to do it anyway to break up the wait between 12 and 20 weeks but feel like I want to now for peace of mind over Xmas as well.

Shoney85 · 01/12/2016 10:50

I've had some movement the last couple of weeks. 17+5 today. Had loads Friday and Saturday then quiet on Sunday, loads again Monday and Tuesday then nothing yesterday, seems to be quiet again today. I think the baby had moved position. We heard the heartbeat last night so all is fine. But paranoia when you don't feel anything esp after the start of the week, felt like a party in my tummy lol

Had a good run of feeling good but was sick last night and feel a bit quesy this morning, hoping it's short lived

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 01/12/2016 10:50

Savage I think I cycled until 30ish weeks the first time round, but my bike is a roadie, so being bent forward was really uncomfortable, which is why I gave up. Haha i'm super slow already too, but keep blaming it on the cold, nothing to do with me being pregnant oh no :)

FoxMulder · 01/12/2016 11:22

I still feel rough as. I thought I'd be better by now. Going to a wedding tomorrow. So shattered. Tummy hurts too. Just under my ribs. Is that round ligament area. Dark days are awful for making you feel extra shit. I feel like going to bed by 4pm

savagehk · 01/12/2016 11:22

ImYourWoman yeah, that's not going to be comfy! Plus the cross bar...

Lucie I'm with you - I had that gigantic bump at 14 weeks, woke up this morning and I kid you not, flat as a pancake! Shock

DH looked very confused as did I... tiredness and nausea has all but stopped, still got this stupid cold and some ligament pain here and there, but really haven't felt very pregnant the last few days... Hmm

teainbed · 01/12/2016 12:00

Morning. Had my anomaly scan this morning, it was lovely. I'd forgotten how reassuring that scan is, no cleft lip or palate seen, working kidneys, brain and ventricles fine, all the arm and leg bones! I have a fetal heart scan just after Christmas it's too early to do the heart in detail just now. Measuring between 18 and 18+4 so all on track too with growth.

Also enjoying my pregnant boobs, I can never remember theme being as firm! I'm also usually one of the spaniels ears brigade.

nervous I had to have a full bladder for the 12 week scan, they said you need to drink 2 pints of water / squash in the hour before the appointment! I just can't drink that much without throwing up so (scan at 10am) had my early morning wee and got 1 pint in and had water with me which I kept sipping. I normally don't drink much fluids so I was ready to burst by the end.

Last pregnancy the notes didn't say so I arrived with a full-ish bladder on the grounds that it's easier to empty a full bladder than fill an empty one.

FoxMulder · 01/12/2016 12:33

I was told no need for a full bladder at 20wk scan

Badgerbird · 01/12/2016 14:07

tea that's such brilliant news! How exciting :) I'm wondering if I can bring mine forward as I noticed it's 18-20 weeks that scan I think? I'll be 20+3 on mine but would obvs like to know if everything's ok ASAP!

I was considering another scan between 12-20 as it's such a long wait but my mw will listen for heart beat when I next see her at 17+3 (on Xmas week eeeek!) so that may tide me over ;)

Sorry for all those worrying about symptoms subsiding, I checked if that was normal with mw on Mon (as I guessed it would be next thing to worry about!!) and she says totally normal at this stage. Hope you can find some reassurance.....

Mine was meant to be after Christmas, when I would be 20+6 but I called today and amazingly managed to move it to the week before Christmas, so I'll be 19+4. As Nelly said, Christmas and bank holidays mean fewer slots available! But it means that, all being well, I'll be able to relax more over Christmas and have photos to show our grandparents which will be nice.

1004Rise · 01/12/2016 15:34

My 20 week scan is on the 29th, which is 19+6 for me. It's quite good because it's halfway between now and my next mw appointment at 24 weeks Smile so I can pace myself!

My scan letter is as useless as last time but the sonographer definitely said I didn't need a full bladder for 20 weeks.

Gurtie28 · 01/12/2016 17:27

Anyone else have a 20week scan on the 21st Dec?
I know there were a few of us with 16wk scans on the same day...

I feel lucky that I will be getting a little early xmas present being able to see our baby, our wedding anniversary is the day before as well so timing couldn't be better (assuming all is ok Confused)

growcookeat · 01/12/2016 17:41

Gurtie I'm booked in For 20th for 20wk scan. Fingers crossed all is well!

savagehk · 01/12/2016 17:50

Mine's on the 16th, had to move it forward because we're away; would have been the 23rd otherwise. I'll be 19+6 like 1004

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 01/12/2016 17:54

Mine is on Friday 23rd at 3pm! Our Christmas travel plans had to be changed completely.

Sipperskipper · 01/12/2016 18:02

Mine is on Tues 20th Dec - I will be 20 + 2. Feeling really worried about it for some reason. Maybe its just that its getting closer. My 12 week scan with Harmony test seemed pretty detailed at the FMC - they looked at kidneys, heart, spinal cord, brain etc....just can't help feeling anxious about it!

RasperryInAMelon · 01/12/2016 18:24

I'd have loved to know before Christmas! Would have been lovely to share with the family but I'm 20 weeks on Jan 4th and scan is Jan 5th

Rabbitykins55 · 01/12/2016 18:32

Gertie mine is that week too! On the 19th though.
