Hello Cox, Peached and Rasperry - it was great to meet you and the bumps Smile. Thanks for a nice evening, I hope everyone gets back home sound and safe. Extra thank you goes to Peached for keeping me company on a train back!

PeachIcedT · 24/11/2016 21:47

RasperryInAMelon · 24/11/2016 21:54

Super lovely to meet you ladies! Hope everyone got home ok!

Just got in to find my screening results too!...

Screening Result - Screen Negative
Risk of Downs - 1 in 5,800
Risk of T18 - Less than 1 in 50,000
Risk of T13 - Less than 1 in 50,000

Oddly enough no other notes included, Im guessing all is ok with the above?

savagehk · 24/11/2016 22:00

Raspberry that's super low, everything is fine :)

Badgerbird · 24/11/2016 22:29

Good evening lovely ladies!! Thanks so much for all your replies, support and experiences. I was feeling a bit sad & lonely about it and that has def helped Smile

I guess it's coz I felt quite a strong bond with 1st pregnancy then felt when it had gone wrong too. Second one I didn't feel anything really and that didn't end well so think this time its quite a bit of self preservation. Normally I'm quite in touch with my body, feelings etc (have I mentioned I'm a bit of a hippy?!) so feels a bit strange to be switched off. Started pregnancy yoga tonight (nice but bit dull, I prefer more flow) and got a bit teary when visualising baby... soppy thing!

So pleased the meet up went well, what fun! And I'm loving all the bump photos!!! I def look like I've had a big meal rather than neat bump like you lot. It feels (and looks) like my baby and enlarged uterus is pushing my organs upwards Shock

Sleep well mamas Flowers

Sonnet18 · 25/11/2016 05:54

Well at 16 weeks I finally got my letter from NT screening. Risk is 1 in 20,000 so I am happy with that!

CinnamonTwist · 25/11/2016 07:01

Missfab yes there is a FB group, if you pm me your email then I'll try to add you

newbieho · 25/11/2016 07:20

Great news Sonnet18

Sonnet18 · 25/11/2016 07:58

16 week bump! Excuse the mess behind me...in the spare room! Think I look a bit bloated more than anything!

Saw the midwife yesterday and she told me to book my whooping cough jab at the GPs between now, 16 weeks, and 32 weeks. I'm in Scotland and she said she'd probably remind me at the next check in 6 weeks after my 20 week scan but it was u to me to sort. She didn't weigh me but I used the scales at my parents and I think I've just put on 1KG so far - must not use that as a reason to go crazy and eat my house.

MrsJW15 · 25/11/2016 11:11

My bump is looking non-existent today! I'm sure it was bigger at the weekend...

MissMooMoo · 25/11/2016 11:22

Has anyone been weighed apart from at their booking in appointment? I read online that they don't routinely weigh women anymore at each appointment.
I weigh myself at home anyways each week and I have only gained 2lbs so far.
Bump has popped out now though and I am eating real food again so I expect it will go up.
16 week appt is next Tuesday

teainbed · 25/11/2016 11:26

Good news on the screening bloods.

I've never been weighed, I don't think they routinely do that anymore except at booking sometimes. I've not put any weight on so far, 17.5 weeks!

Streaky17 · 25/11/2016 11:39

Glad the meetup went well! Good news on the screening results.

Great bump photos everyone!

My hunger nausea is back this week. Which coupled with not really fancying anything to eat is rubbish.
And I then feel shaky when I eat to much. Difficult!

Work seems laid back so far- surely there must be forms to fill out.
