Morning everyone

Lovely scan pic mrspage Smile

My 'bump' is similar to yours sweetpea but I'm only 7+4. It was actually worse last week so in my case, it's probably just bloating. It's still making me dress differently etc though.

Re winter coats. I was due DD in June so everything is the exact same timing & I didn't buy a new coat. Most of my coats were roomy anyway so I just managed through until the warmer weather came in. Even though I expect a bigger bump this time, I'm going to try to make do with my normal coats. A cape is a good idea if you do need something new though.

I'm in the countdown to our early scan on Saturday now...

7+3 I think Hmm

HazyHazyJeans · 07/11/2016 07:41

Ha! I used two different dates in that post. I'm 7 and a half weeks ish Grin

MundayCakes85 · 07/11/2016 08:52

Got my booking bloods at the hospital today. I work there but forgot my notes, it's not a big deal right? I can't remember from last time! Scan date cake through for 24th, I'm going to have to take DD and hopefully distract her with toys and Peppa Pig!

Donostia · 07/11/2016 10:00

Hi everyone, I'm struggling to keep up. When/if we go over to facebook I'll be much better I'm sure.

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I've got a cold as well so general crappiness all round. And although am only 7 weeks struggling with a tummy (bloat I think) which I'm having difficulties hiding and dressing!

I still haven't registered with a doctor either, waiting for my papers to come through in the post before I can do so (am abroad).

My parents visited last week so I told them which went down well. My Mum had a MMC on her 2nd pregnancy so we're both a little wary.

I have put on weight (pre pregnancy) anyway so my clothes were all a little tight, which annoyingly means no hiding room, although I do have an old topshop cape which will be a perfect coat, and a few maternity dresses from last time.

DizzyNorthernBird · 07/11/2016 10:29

7+6 today and don't feel pregnant at all!

I woke up at 3am and decided to quit sugar starting today. Quitting sugar is a bastard. Especially with all the bags of haribo we have lying around leftover from Halloween. Wish me luck!

Also I realised this morning that I'd been pretty constipated for most of last week (realised this after a particularly successful loo trip today Grin ) so I'm hoping my work trousers will feel more comfortable again this week.

lamafarmer · 07/11/2016 10:53

Having a bit of beige discharge today... normal or cause for concern?? Not even had a call from midwife to arrange booking in yet so no idea where to go for advice.

NappingRabbit · 07/11/2016 11:03

I've put on 3lb so far and look quite pregnant by bedtime but it's all bloat and gone by morning.

Felt particularly rough yesterday and this morning. I just want to hide in bed with a box set but DS has other, more energetic ideas. And now he's pooed - argh. The stink is so bad at the moment, I could really do without my super sense of smell when it comes to nappies!

9+0 (decided to adopt my EDD from the early scan as it puts me two days further along)

FlashingLights · 07/11/2016 11:19

I got a call from the midwives today - my booking is on Friday.

farmer is it offensive in smell or do you have any irritation down below? If not then I wouldn't worry about it.

I am really struggling with the bloat, by the evening I just feel so gross. My appetite is fine during the day but completely goes later on. I don't fancy any 'dinner' food either. All I want to eat is granola or anything on toast.

Somewhere between 6+6 and 8+5 - one more EPU scan on Weds and hopefully I'll have an accurate gestation and be discharged from them.

lamafarmer · 07/11/2016 11:26

Thanks flashing - nope no smell to speak of or any pain - will park that thought!

As far as the GP knows I'm 8 weeks (they have LMP date as opposed to late OV date) so kind of hoping they call soon.

Totally with you on the tiny dinner and granola team...

MrsPotatoHead80 · 07/11/2016 14:09

After watching Saturday Kitchen Best Bits yesterday I've had such a craving for anchovies on bread & butter.
Finally managed to buy some earlier & despite my misgivings were absolutely delicious Grin
Anyone else with weird cravings?

LilyCat43 · 07/11/2016 14:16

Skee I work for Tesco and we had it in store so you should be able to pick some up quite easily.

peaceloveandbiscuits · 07/11/2016 14:24

Be warned with Fybogel - drink it immediately before it turns into orange flavoured grassy jelly in the bottom of your glass Envy I forced it down in the days after DS was born because I was so frightened of the first post-birth poo!

haveacupoftea · 07/11/2016 14:28

I am officially in maternity jeans! Went to Dorothy Perkins at lunchtime for a pair and they took 20% off for the fashion event and 20% off maternity as well! So rather than £26 they ended up costing £15.60 Grin

Getting sick of junk and starting to make healthier choices now. It's finally starting to hit that baby is relying on me and me alone to feed it properly.

oliversmummy26 · 07/11/2016 14:34

I feel so far behind you all! Am only 6+6 today Sad I have my booking in tomorrow though, which is far earlier than expected, but the only appointment the surgery could get me which would be before 10 weeks.

I am also hideously bloated after lunch and until I wake up the following morning, by which time it has pretty much gone right down. My jeans are feeling a little snug and I've just bought some baggy shirts which should see me through for a while. I have maternity jeans on stand by though, it's bras I'm going to have to get asap though, as the wires are driving me nuts!!

I am also craving junk food, had a pasty and cookies for lunch. But I'm also going through lots of green innocent smoothies which are on offer in morrisons at the moment, so that makes me feel a little better - as least I'm still getting some goodness into me!

I'm so fed up of waiting already - I can't believe there's still another 33 weeks to go!!!

Donostia · 07/11/2016 14:38

haha oliversmummy same bra problem! I bought a couple of these on ebay this mornig - Only £5 each with free delivery so even if they don't fit it wont be so bad.

Mooseville · 07/11/2016 14:58

For those with bra issues - I've bought a £6 full support non wired from Tesco and it's great! So comfy and will do until I feel they've stopped growing enough to be measured for maternity ones!

Booking in appt on Mon!

10 weeks today!

furryminkymoo · 07/11/2016 15:39

9 weeks today and shattered. Booking appointment tomorrow, scan is 3 weeks Friday and feels like an eternity away. I read some stats about miscarriage and scared myself, I am 41 and DH 46.

Will buy a soft bra, was thinking about buying over bump maternity jeans as they were soooooo comfy last time but maybe too soon.

VeganMama83 · 07/11/2016 16:26

lily I work for Tesco too so that's good to know! Have you been there long enough to get the 14 weeks full pay? I will have been there 2 years in march so I presume I will be getting it!

haveacupoftea · 07/11/2016 16:52

furryminkymoo i'm bloody knackered too, bed at 8pm most nights and suffering all day dreaming of bed! Get the maternity jeans on if you feel like you need the comfort..I woke up today with stretchy/constipation feeling pains in my lower belly and just knew I couldn't cope anymore with jeans digging into me! Nursing bra and maternity jeans all the way for me from now on I am embracing the good parts of pregnancy Grin

Dragon5000 · 07/11/2016 17:10

Woke up terrified as completely symptom free today. Not much sleep because dh was a snoring bastard who is lucky he didn't have a pillow over his face this morning!
Been quite hungry today and had quite a few stretching pains so feeling a bit less worried! But also if I add 4 weeks to my days which is a possibility as last period was very light i am possibly 14+5 so normal for symptoms to alleviate I guess. Scan next Friday so we shall see!
10+5 for now!

Mommytobe2017 · 07/11/2016 17:15

My hunger is back with a vengeance Sad

My boss told me today that my hand is really swollen. Confused They get dry and chapped this time of the year because of the weather anyway.

Got my booking in tomorrow so will mention it then.

I have some discharge (sorry, tmi) but it's just normal like when I'm ovulating.

Skee · 07/11/2016 17:33

Thanks for the shopping info Lily Smile and the heads up on how to take it Peace 😂

Lots of booking in appointments tomorrow - me too!! I'm a wee bit excited now, today has been OK nausea wise - hence the excitement about the satsumas...

Loving all the updates, wish I could remember what I was going to respond with by the time I've caught up right enough 😂

Hope everyone's doing well x x
