Any joiners?

This will be dc2. Edd of July 2nd.

Not one symptom yet. Going to enjoy that and hope it lasts!

Will do, toes and eyes as well! Sounds promising though seahawk at least its first thing so you don't have to wait all day. I will be on in the morning so maybe speak to you then.

Have a good night everyone.

Sweets27 · 26/11/2016 21:24

Hi ladies, do you mind if I join you? :)

I just had a BFP this week and think I'm due 27 July 2017 (currently 5+2). It'll be DC2 - my little boy is nearly 1, so he'll be around 20 months when his bro or sis arrives (eek!).

I haven't been on MN for ages actually, but with my son I met a great bunch of friends through the TTC forum and the Dec 2015 AN thread here, and have found the support invaluable, so I'd love to find the same again this time round.

I'd love to join the FB group if you'll have me - I'm sure I saw a reference to that a couple of pages ago on this thread so I'll see if I can work out the right person to ask. :)

X

And today's random body discovery.. my belly button's shrunk/closing up/got really tight 😳😳😳😳 juvenile DH tried to stick his finger in it and it wouldn't go..... now no one has warned me about that!!

Im only 8 weeks and womb should still be all tucked away in pelvis? I'm really rather freaked and totally panicking there's a pickle in there keeping spud company #twoforthepriceofone...

DamsonGinIsMyThing · 26/11/2016 22:17

What a shitty shitty day for some of you. Thinking of the ones who are in limbo.
Pregnancy down right sucks sometimes, I hope tomorrow brings better days for everyone x

danigrace · 27/11/2016 04:16

Ugh, woke up when DH came to bed at 1:30am then woke up properly bc I had tp get up and pee. Aaannd it's 4:15 I'm still awake. And starving. Hmm

Seahawk80 · 27/11/2016 07:21

Oh no dani I've had that so many times - it's so annoying! I managed to sleep really well which I didn't expect. Getting up at 7am on a Sunday is not fun. Still at least I'll know if things are ok soon.

Bleeding has stopped and I'm feeling really positive - I'll still be terrified and shaking like a leaf while I'm sat there waiting though!!

Lallypopstick · 27/11/2016 08:00

Good luck Seahawk

Spindelina · 27/11/2016 08:25

Good luck Seahawk!

I crawled into bed at 7:30 yesterday evening, and stayed there until DD got up at 6:30 this morning. I needed that!

Seahawk80 · 27/11/2016 09:16

Thanks everyone. Still waiting to be seen. Seems like things are quite slow on a Sunday.

whyistherumgone · 27/11/2016 09:39

Are you still waiting Seahawk? keeping everything crossed for you

Miami81 · 27/11/2016 10:01

Good luck Seahawk. Fingers crossed for you.
I had a massive cry last night once I had let it all sink in and have now had a stern word with myself. Saw a flicker so the bean is fighting I just have to try and stay positive for the week and hope that it progresses.
This shit is really hard!!

Seahawk80 · 27/11/2016 10:04

Thanks rum just out. All fine thank god. Was the worst hour waiting there. They've told me to avoid sex until at least 12 weeks but otherwise all fine.

Thanks for the support everyone, it really helps Smile

whyistherumgone · 27/11/2016 10:34

ah Miami stay strong - that's a great way to look at it and you're right, there IS a heartbeat and like
others have said maybe the dating is just a little out.

I'm so pleased and relieved for you Seahawk hope you now have a lovely relaxed Sunday :)

danigrace · 27/11/2016 10:40

Phew so happy for you Seahawk!

Thinking of you Miami, sounds like you've got a great attitude with it all, fingers tightly crossed for next week

Seahawk80 · 27/11/2016 11:02

It's so hard waiting Miami I know how awful it is. Sorry I only just saw your post. If it's any help they seem to change my dates every time I go in so I really think that your dates could be out. It's such an inexact science, it seems like even the specialists can only have what is really an educated guess. As you said the heartbeat is there and that's such a good sign. I'll be thinking of you Flowers

LuciBee231015 · 27/11/2016 12:21

Seahawks, glad everything is ok! Keep those legs firmly crossed for the time being girl!

Miami, hope you're ok, must be very hard for you. My fingers and toes are crossed for you xx

AMillionMilesFromThere · 27/11/2016 12:23

seahawk absolutely thrilled for you x

miami I hope you have similar good news very soon x

Last night was the roughest night I've had in a long time! Dd2 had a continuing high temp and the food I ate at my mums (very spicy) was torturing me with awful heartburn once dd had settled - so all in all, a shit night!

Woken up to see the systems I use for work are still down , and we're going to the parents in law today....

CatRash · 27/11/2016 19:29

Seahawk - fab news!!! Congratulations!

Miami - stay positive - I hope it's good news soon!

I have had lower back ache since I ovulated but today it's insanely stiff. I have back issues anyway and have regular osteopathic treatment and acupuncture but I think the pregnancy is aggravating it!

Tits are mega sore today too.

On the upside I went in to Holland and Barrett to get some ginger sweets and the lady behind the counter gave me a free bottle of ginger cordial as it's going out if date at the end of this month (I'm sure it'll be fine - it's cordial after all). Should help with the morning sickness which I can feel building up each day.

Seahawk80 · 27/11/2016 19:50

Thanks everyone. So relieved. Am feeling a lot more secure about things now. A bit sad about the sex but it's not too long. I just don't want to end up being one of those couples where sex goes out of the window once kids come along.

thumbsupforthesixbillion · 27/11/2016 20:12

Great news seahawk and absolutely fingers crossed and positive thoughts coming your way Miami!

I've just got back from visiting family and my brother came home vomiting, I think it's a sickness bug, and logically I know it wouldn't incubate that quickly but I feel so so sick tonight and I haven't really had any nausea. Slightly worried now!

Mouse14 · 27/11/2016 20:31

Seahawk- fab news! So pleased for you.
Miami- sending lots of positive vibes.

The nausea has set in this weekend and I'm already in bed. Can already feel that tomorrow is going to be a struggle. Hope you've all had a relaxing weekend!

Mouse14 · 27/11/2016 20:35

Catrash, have you given the finer cordial a go yet? It pretty much saved my friend last year. I just don't know if I can face the ginger as the week before my BFP I got a little over excited with some ginger cocktails and apart from never drinking again. Ever. Hmm I can't bare the smell of the stuff...

Can anyone suggest anything else? Smile

BeckyNW · 27/11/2016 21:26

Just seen your post Miami. Hopefully back to whatever you normally do during the week tomorrow, so that'll be a good distraction. I'm booked in for a reassurance scan next weekend myself; hope we both get to see a heartbeat then. Fingers crossed that your dates are just a bit out.

parsnips82 · 27/11/2016 21:52

Hi everyone.
I have my 6 week scan tomorrow and was wondering what to expect. I know it's going to be an internal scan but I was wondering how long it normally takes to find the little bean? Just so I know when I should start getting worried?
Also did your chaps go in with you? Not sure how I feel about him being there while they are ferreting about down there?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

BeckyNW · 27/11/2016 22:12

6 weeks, Parsnip? That's super early! Might not be a detectable heartbeat at that point, so please don't panic if that's the case for you.

Re partners attending - the only scan I've had so far was during my last pregnancy when I had a little bleeding at 11 weeks so was sent to EPU. It never crossed my mind NOT to have my husband in. He wanted to see what was going on as much as I did. He sat by my head and held my hand, so we both heard the bad news at the same time. So glad he was there, I wouldn't have wanted to deal with that on my own.

This time we have booked an early private scan next weekend when I should be 8 + 4, so there should definitely be a heartbeat if things are progressing. We are both attending.
