Any joiners?

This will be dc2. Edd of July 2nd.

Not one symptom yet. Going to enjoy that and hope it lasts!

March 17, even.

DrewOB0 · 25/11/2016 19:40

Got my booking appointment and scan date today. I'll pay for a private one in between though, it's in 7 weeks!

Lallypopstick · 25/11/2016 20:09

I haven't been sick yet, but have felt pretty rough, on and off. I actually wore my sickness bands to bed last night because I felt terrible - kept going to the bathroom but didn't bring anything up. So much for morning sickness!

So excited for all the mamas who have seen heartbeats. And very encouraging to hear how different people's experiences are - there's really no script to being pregnant!

whycanineverthinkofausername · 25/11/2016 21:02

Just an update! I had my midwife appointment today & she says I'm actually 7+5 & due the 9th of July, I won't hold my breath as everything else has said the 20th. Due to my shooting pains I'm being put forward for an early scan, which I'm fingers crossed for & I asked about the extra folic acid and she says yes & I can collect it from the doctors on Monday.

AMillionMilesFromThere · 26/11/2016 02:00

Hello all! Smile

Can I join please?!
5 weeks with dc 3 (still can't quite believe it!)... have had my gp appointment, been given folic acid and vitamin d3/calcium supplements.

Have had sore boobs, gassy weird tummy and very strong sense of smell from the very beginning ! (I have to put my two dc in the bath as soon as they come home from school because I can smell them a mile away GrinEnvy).

Really hoping the awful sickness doesn't kick in - trying to make the most of enjoying my food before then Wink

Lots of congrats to all and hoping we all have a safe journey till July !

AMillionMilesFromThere · 26/11/2016 02:14

Oh I forgot to add I worked out my edd and it says 28/7 ! x

purplebella · 26/11/2016 08:25

Lol loving the smelly kids!!!

I cooked my beloved roast dinner last night and made me feel sickSad
I was feeling sick while eating it until I got to the potatoes, yum! Can now see why most of you are living on potatoes!

TiltedNewt · 26/11/2016 09:25

All the news of heartbeats makes me happy!

I too feel sick. Constantly. Last time eating helped but not this time! I haven't actually been sick yet, it was a close call when brushing my teeth this morning though.

Anyone here still breastfeeding? My milk is drying up and poor DS doesn't understand. He keeps trying though so hopefully that will keep it going a bit longer.

0EatSleepTeachRepeat · 26/11/2016 10:10

Hi again all, lovely hearing lots of good news! Booked a private early scan for Dec 20th. A little anxious so hoping it will all be good news and I can relax then!

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 10:29

Has anyone else had a little bleeding after sex? I've read that it's quite common but now of course I'm terrified! Think it will be off the menu for a while.

I have a scan on Monday so just trying to stay chilled but it's hard.

whyistherumgone · 26/11/2016 11:00

Hey seahawk I haven't actually
ventured there in the last four weeks as I've just felt so bloated and gross and bloody shattered but my midwife specifically told me that a bit of bleeding after sex is completely normal and not to panic if it happens - she said some women have it some
women don't and it's nothing to worry about.
I know it's easy for me to say but thought it might help that she made a point of saying it. Good luck for your scan I'm so so nervous about mine already and it's still four weeks away :(
so nice to see all these mums to be hearing the heartbeat but weirdly
it makes me more convinced than ever that I won't be as lucky. Such an optimist over here eh?!
Hope everyone is feeling ok today and hello to any newbies :)

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 11:24

Thanks rum we're going to
A&e just in case as it's more than spotting and I'm rhesus negative so just want it checked out. Will let you know

whyistherumgone · 26/11/2016 11:39

Always bettee to be safe seahawk so I think that's a good shout will be keeping everything crossed for you

Miami81 · 26/11/2016 11:51

Hi ladies.
Just back from scan, it was inconclusive but probably not positive news. Measuring at 6+2 should be 7+4 and hb is just a flicker (slower then expected). So back next Sunday. Dreading it. Need distraction tactics please.

whycanineverthinkofausername · 26/11/2016 12:21

I had my emergency scan today too and I'm 7+3 approx. Which doesn't add up but I refused an internal which would of been more accurate as I was feeling so ill. But we have a heartbeat! Fingers crossed for everyone else having their scans today x

MrsBobDylan · 26/11/2016 12:24

miami keeping everything crossed for you - is there a chance you could be further behind than you thought? I've read that they expect to see a heart beat between 6-7 weeks so at 6+2 it could just be getting started.

This is not the most exciting distraction suggestion, but watch telly or swimming always works for me. Helps my brain switch off.

Hope the time goes fast between now and next week.Flowers

whyistherumgone · 26/11/2016 12:25

oh Miami that must be unbearable for you. Did they give you any feedback on what to expect Sunday?

I'm not great at distracting myself but all I can suggest is be kind to yourself and try to stay busy, as impossible as that may be.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you that Sunday yields good news. Be sure to pop on here as often as you need distracting or if it's too hard, stay off the Internet and try and busy yourself elsewhere. Sending you lots of
positive vibes X

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 13:00

Oh Miami that is hard. It's such a stressful and awful time isn't it. I find staying busy and staying away from the internet the best distractions.

I'm back from a&e. Missed the cut off for epu so back there tomorrow. I'm staying positive though, bleeding isn't getting worse and at least if it's ok tomorrow then it's likely to be fine. Hasn't been the best day on here so far has it. Fx for positive news for everyone

danigrace · 26/11/2016 18:07

Big hugs Miami, like someone else said could you just have ovulated a bit later this cycle? Fingers crossed for you on Sunday xx

Welcome newbies [waves]

Spindelina so sorry to hear of your losses Flowers fingers crossed this is "the one"

Has anyone picked up their free Bounty gift box yet? If you download the Bounty app and show the relevant screen at Boots you get one (I picked it up today in Manchester, the 2 nearest me [Macclesfield and Wilmslow] didn't have them). It's got more in than I expected, I'm quite impressed!

danigrace · 26/11/2016 18:11

Fingers crossed for you too Seahawk, let us know how you get on tomorrow xx

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 18:18

Thanks, will do. I'm finding old friends episodes and crisps a good distraction! I'm staying positive as there's no point thinking the worst. Normally I'm always worrying so am feeling strangely calm.

whyistherumgone · 26/11/2016 19:43

oh that does look good dani

seahawk I'm so impressed with how calm you are :) will keep my fx for you - let us know how you get on?

miami if you read this just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you - hope you're chilling in front of a box set or film and finding ways to distract yourself

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 19:46

Thanks rum I'll be a right state tomorrow once I'm waiting to be seen!! I'll let you know how it goes. I'm just really glad that I can be seen on a Sunday to be honest.

whyistherumgone · 26/11/2016 20:17

Well if you need to chat for distraction let us know what time you'll be waiting and I'm sure a few of us will be on here :)

Seahawk80 · 26/11/2016 20:27

Thank you. Hopefully I should be seen by about 9.30 so shouldn't have to wait too long. Bleeding has alarmist stopped but still
Having a few twingy cramps. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
