Last night was the first full nights sleep we have had for a week as DD has had a rotten cold and cough and been up in the night. Making me remember what it's like! DD was a good sleeper from newborn really, she'd wake for 1 or 2 feeds and resettle easily and was always good at sleeping in her crib so I'm a bit scared of getting a really bad sleeper!

Mummymulb16 · 13/11/2016 09:19

Incentives I wake It takes ages to go back to sleep!

20 week scans on the ladies how many have them next week? I have mine on Thursday can't wait to find out sex!

Mummymulb16 · 13/11/2016 09:20

That should read on the way ladies Hmm

Celticlassie · 13/11/2016 10:01

Mine isn't till December which feels ages away. How much weight should you have put on by now? I've put on about 6-8lb since the start - am now 17 weeks and am not sure how normal that is. I have been eating more too!

itbeeps · 13/11/2016 10:17

scan first week of dec too! i feel huge but have probably only put on 6lb lol Although not eating more than previously.

Helbelle75 · 13/11/2016 13:42

Hello everyone, feeling very lethargic today. DH is away for the weekend so just bump and I at home. Had a busy weekend with remembrance, and should be relaxing but feeling guilty about the things that need doing.
20 week scan not until 21 weeks on the 29th November. Can't wait!
I've put on 7lbs so far, all on the Front! My bump is really solid and definitely looks like a baby bump.

Cuppaqueen · 13/11/2016 15:18

I've put on 6-7 lbs as well although I'm convinced at least half of that is boob! Hmm

finova · 13/11/2016 17:21

That's good. I don't have scales, but weighed myself at someone's house last week and I'd gained 7lbs at 18 weeks.

Celticlassie · 13/11/2016 17:59

That's quite reassuring about the weight thing. 5 weeks since last scan and 3 weeks till next one I'm searching for something new to worry about. Blush

jpeg28 · 13/11/2016 18:18

Celtic in 17+5 and I've put on 7lb, although it feels more! My face and thighs have definitely increased in size!!
I wish my bump was a proper solid bump, it's pretty much my existing fat tummy pushed out!

I'm on this conference this weekend and I'm eating SO much!! Full breakfast buffet, three courses at lunch and dinner, cakes in between lectures! I need to sort my diet out asap when I get back!

Puggleface · 13/11/2016 18:59

Just need to gush a bit...I am absolutely loving feeling this baby kick and move about. It's the best feeling in the world. Yesterday I had my 4 month old niece lying on my chest asleep and baby doing summersaults inside and it was just pure bliss! DP is now able to feel it from the outside too and it's just so special!

Bubbinsmakesthree · 13/11/2016 19:11

I rarely weigh myself but based on what I think I weighed beforehand I'm about 13lb up! 😮

Celticlassie · 13/11/2016 20:17

Aww Puggle that sounds lovely. I'm so jealous - can't feel a thing yet.

CastleFeck · 13/11/2016 20:34

I'm not weighing myself I've put on loads.

Annilack · 13/11/2016 22:29

I am avoiding the scales for the next year at least.
I also have my 20 week scan this week. Such an exciting time.

jpeg28 · 13/11/2016 22:50

Puggle that's amazing!!! I haven't felt anything yet but I can't wait!!

everdene · 14/11/2016 07:13

Ahhhh that is lovely puggle!

I feel completely blessed out; calm, chilled and excited to be pregnant. I know it can't last throughout the whole pregnancy but it feels so enjoyable.

I thought I'd be anxious and scared but I feel great!

SharkBastard · 14/11/2016 07:21

Not posted on here for ages!

20 week scan on 1st December when I'll be 19+3 but they wouldn't hear that despite baby measuring a week ahead I'm not going to be 20 weeks. I imagine they will have to send me away and wait another week.

Felt the odd movement, nothing consistent yet. I still feel like shit, nausea hasn't stopped, no energy, hormones causing havoc and DH is now in Abu Dhabi on business till Friday. Making DD's packed lunch was really hard this morning

I've no idea how much weight I've put on but as I was fat before pregnancy I won't be weighing myself! I'm not eating half as much as I usually can anyway

Back to the grind stone now! Have a good Monday

marmitecheesetoast · 14/11/2016 08:10

Awh Shark hope you feel better soon

I think I might have felt movement for the first time last night!! Sort of like popcorn popping if that makes sense?! Not totally sure but I think it might have been movement!

Prive120 · 14/11/2016 08:21

Just got a 20% off maternity code at ASOS if anyone needs it: 20BABYLOVE
It ends at 8am on Wednesday

ChatEnOeuf · 14/11/2016 08:37

That's wonderful, Puggle. DD felt baby for the first time last night, it's a really lovely thing. We'll ignore the fact it stopped moving when DH came over...

Sorry you're still feeling shit, Shark. I've had more good days than bad days recently, it's really draining to have gone on for this long. Hope it starts to settle down soon.

Thanks for the code, Prive - I might see if they have any nice warm jumpers - feeling the chill now my normal ones aren't always hitting my waistline Grin

Detail scan on 23rd - counting down and hoping for a healthy-looking baby.

summerskittles91 · 14/11/2016 09:03

Puggleface Even though I get a bad back lying on my back, Its when I feel baby do the most moves! So I usually lay down in bed and baby goes crazy, it feels so strange compared to what I thought it would but it's so exciting. He/She has a routine of moving loads between 8:00am/9:00am so Im usually sat at work with a huge grin on my face every time I feel a kick.

Prive120 Thank you for the asos code! Have you bought anything from asos yet? I might be tempted for a few things with the code :D

marmitecheesetoast Pop corn popping/bubbles popping is exactly what I felt at first!! it was so surreal. When I told DH i felt bubbles popping and that I was sure it was the baby he just looked at me like Confused haha

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow! Eeeeeek! Really excited but just praying everything will be ok. Me and DH still debating as to whether we're going to find out the sex. I want to know and DH doesnt! agh!

CastleFeck · 14/11/2016 09:31

shark don't worry I think 20 week scan can be done between 18+6 and 20 something so 19 is fine. We are scan buddies mine is on the same day. I also still feel crappy a lot of the time, hoping it improves after 20weeks.

Lovely to hear about kicks and bubbles. I feel the baby most evenings and in the middle of the night when I'm always awake anyway.

MrsRhubarb · 14/11/2016 09:32

Hello everyone! Just checking in as it's been a while. I seem to finally have just about said goodbye to sickness, and am able to do more than sit on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. I think I have entered some crazy nesting period, bit early I know. I am going a bit nuts getting things done around the house, including pressure washing the driveway this weekend redecorating DDs room. One more coat of paint today and she can be back in there!

A bump has suddenly appeared too, and baby is a proper wiggler. Love it so, so much. It's jumping away in there as I type. I'm still mostly just feeling it lower left, but all of a sudden I've felt a few thumps elsewhere so maybe it is getting big enough that the anterior placenta is less of an obstacle.

I'm getting the Chicco Next to Me. DD was a cot refuser, so we co-slept which worked really well for us. When she got bigger we had a toddler bed as a side-car type arrangement which was great but did take up a lot of room. Hopefully the Next to Me will help me avoid that for a bit longer.

One week today and hopefully we will find out what flavour it is! Everyone is certain that it is a boy, except for DD who is adamant it is a girl. Cannot believe I am nearly half way through, that seems nuts.

MrsBac83 · 14/11/2016 09:40

Morning all! How is it Monday again already??!!

Whoever said about sleeping badly - that's me too! I'll get a solid block in then toss and turn for a bit then need to pee then struggle to get back off and the tossing and turning continues!! Like waking the dead when the alarm goes off!! Urgh!!

Have 20 week scan this Wednesday. (Although i'll be 19+2) I may have felt movements but they feel very similar to the gurglings my stomach makes when my IBS plays up so I'm not sure which it is. I might have felt baby to a backflip last night but I was actually asleep!! It did filter into my dream but it was a strange feeling whatever it was. Like all my stomach muscles contracted of their own accord! ooh er!
