Pugsy, hope everything goes ok

Is anyone else getting bad headaches now?

RasperryInAMelon · 09/11/2016 10:14

Lucie I've had a headache since last Friday. Took one paracetamol on Saturday evening but am trying to just leave it be. It's dulled off now, but still there and mainly behind my right eye or shifts to the back of my head toward the nape of my neck Sad not great when you use a PC all day...

MissMooMoo · 09/11/2016 10:15

I am also feeling semi human again!
I was sick yesterday morning but thats about it. I am also able to stay up a bit later!!
Goodluck to all those having scans today!

RasperryInAMelon · 09/11/2016 10:42

Just a little FYI as I think it was a little while ago and I can't remember who brought it up... but... constipation - if anyone's suffering, I tried Fybogel yesterday after a recommendation from another lady at work. Safe to say it's brilliant and kicks in relatively quickly too.

trinityrabbit · 09/11/2016 11:06

Awwwww Trinity such a clear photo! Congratulations! Flowers

TheTantrumCometh · 09/11/2016 11:30

Congratulations Trinity, that's an amazing picture!

I always think you feel worse when you're ill during pregnancy even it's an 'easy' pregnancy. I think your body definitely focuses all resources on the baby and you're left feeling awful. Hope it improves for you soon.

We told the kids yesterday. As I suspected DS does not get it at all but DD is so incredibly excited. She wants to share a room, she's picked out names. She woke up in the night and told DH she was too excited Grin She's already talking to my belly.

Successful scan today, very wriggly little bean. Brought my due date forward to the 17th May... so if I'm 13 weeks does that mean I stop feeling rubbish from today?!Hmm

NT measurement was 1.8 and they said I'd get a phone call by this time next week if there was anything to be worried about from the blood test. Hoping that since I'm a non smoker and a healthy weight all should be OK.

I thought I'd be all weepy in the scan but I just lay there in total awe... still not sure I really believe this is happening Smile

My scan went ok. The measurements were 2ish but they said it was within range and await phonecall if bloods come back differently.

There is two little wrigglers in there so it took ages! My poor bladder.

I've been put forward 6days which since I was temping know isn't possible. But I'll keep that in mind in case it's a problem later. I think that makes me 17th too.

Glad yours went well Nelly and 1004 .

Our lack of surprise was noted! I had an early scan unrelated to pregnancy for cysts at 5,5 and there was two sacs etc but only one heartbeat so I guess it wasn't a total shock. They are mono/di. What are yours?

I did go to my gp as a follow up to scan and she said treatment wouldn't be different until after 12weeks. She didn't mention extra vits nor did the midwife at 9/10 weeks. But too late to worry now.

Mo / di - am i correct in saying that these terms are to do with placenta sharing and whether they will be identical twins?

newbieho · 09/11/2016 13:55

I have got Harmony test result today with very low risk (1:10,000). Very happy and relieved SmileStar

Congratulations everyone!!
I am also due the 17th which I know isn't possible as DH and I were in different parts of the world for that to be our due date, think the baby just must be long, my DH is 6'3!

1004Rise · 09/11/2016 14:50

Yeay, lots of happy scans today... just did a calculation on dates, can't possibly be 13 weeks so mine must be going to be 6'3" as well!! Eeek! Wink

Barnes79 · 09/11/2016 15:02

How do you tell the difference between worrying cramps and heartburn? I've not experienced either before but have had pains since after lunch (about 2 hours) as high up as under my ribs and as low as below my belly button. No bleeding or anything though. Sad

1004Rise · 09/11/2016 15:15

Barnes when I've had heartburn (pre-baby) it's always been really high up under my ribs... when I've had trapped wind (with baby) it's really low down... maybe you're just unlucky and you have both at the same time Sad

Streaky17 · 09/11/2016 15:50

Nelly I'm overwhelmed tbh. Keep wanting to cry but I'm not sure what I'm worried about.

We'll get scans every two weeks from 15or 16 to keep an eye on things according to the debrief today.
Delivery wasn't mentioned. It was hard to take everything in though.

Barnes hope the rather uncomfortable sounding pain stops soon.

Hi all,

I have been reading but haven't posted in a while. We have our first scan on Friday (although I am already 13+2....). I am excited but also terrified.

I have been signed off work since 7 weeks, I have Constant nausea and sickness. I am on meds but to be honest they aren't working.

On Saturday I woke up and felt ok which was amazing for me. I thought I had made it through the sickness, no started up again the next day and is worse than ever.

I hope the sickness ends soon, I am so miserable and I have hurt my neck from vomiting so much!

Anyway, question - I am only taking folic acid (pregnancy multi made me feel even sicker). Now I am past 12 weeks, do I stop taking them? I have started taking berocca now which has folic acid in so I am not double dosing.

Barnes79 · 09/11/2016 16:47

Thanks. Cake and Diet Coke made my pains go away so must have been some weird intestinal cramping or something!?!?

I always thought cake could make everything better CakeGrin
