Dartmoor know how it is feeling bad about not doing enough with your toddler! my DD is 2 as well, and on the one day a week I have her all day (don't work Fridays) I push myself to do way to much with her and end up exhausted. I think sometimes we overthing how much stimulation they need, one thing a day should e fine I think! in fact, when i think of it, DD is often the happiest just pottering around a t home with her toys, as long as she gets ouit a little bit once a day. Also, this is just a temporary thing, once our babies are out and we have recovered we can take them both out! : )
Barking and Stubble feel so rough, hardly sllept last night again so emailed work I'd be in later (they agreed to flexibility in my last week as I have 5 days of holiday to use up) and didn't go into work until just now, at 1 (and look at me now on MN rather than doing all the work I should be getting on with, but my brain is completely foggy and my whole body aches) I'm 35 weeks.
Love Thye say when contractiosn are regular, I guess it depends if you feel more comfy at home or in hospital. Many woemn say they feel more relaxed at home so only go in once they've had contractions for a while, but in my case with DD we're 30-40 mins from hospital because of crazy London trafic, so was paranoid we'd be late and just generally feel safer being in hospital, so went in quite early on after having quite irregular contractions for 5 hours. They wanted to send me home again as I was only 2 cm dilated, but I couldn't face another taxi journey in agony and felt going back was all wrong, so just put my foot down and said I want to stay, they gave me a bed on a ward with many other people and after 4 hours I was fully dialted so am so happy I trusted my own instinct and didn't let them send me home. Just trust your own insincts and do what feels right for you and don't worry what mw's and others say, you know your body best.
