up to eyes with work so just popped in to say hello!

mammyjo · 05/02/2007 20:09

Dont know whether its safe to come here this evening with you three lurking! Might get a bit weird again

I have been fine today so no idea why I was sick overnight. Maybe something I ate didnt agree with my normally cast iron gut.

EllieK, really pleased that things seem to be working out for you.

EllieKwithabigbump · 05/02/2007 20:13

You girls can chat...I love it. Have been sitting in front of the PC reading the last thread with a huge bowl of ice cream.

MIABT - So sorry to hear about the death of Jack, I know he was part of the family and will be missed - not comforting right now but time is a great healer. x

CD - Congratulations on passing your driving test

EllieK - glad to hear that things with Stephen are looking positive, we're rooting for you two.

Liath - Congrats on your nephew

1B3 - at you being on ML and was PMSL re banana from tescos!!!

Maveta - I'm also jealous about you working full time, i still have 6 weeks before i go on mat leave and i want out NOW.

Vio - Also going it alone to my NHS antenatal classes, mine are from 2-5 and DP can't get the time off - but if i need a partner I'll probably call on a friend or my sis.

10 weeks - what a beautiful nursery. Going to show it to DP to get his arse in gear.

mammyjo · 05/02/2007 20:24

Think I must be doing something wrong as I cant see the pics on your profile 10weeks. Can get to the page where the photos should be but there are nowhere to be found. Any ideas anyone?

runnyhabbit · 05/02/2007 20:27

You don't have to weird to be on this thread......but it certainly helps

In such a feel good mood today, and am sooo excited about this lo Is anybody else getting excited? I mean proper, Christmas time excited? Since my friend had her little girl on Saturday, I've got butterflies in my tummy. I've been so "matter of fact" this time round, that the real excitement is only just kicking in. I think maybe because we haven't really had to buy anything big (pram etc) that it hadn't seemed real, until another friend told me it'll be me next holding a newborn in my arms. Nearly burst into tears (happy ones though) because I remember how I felt when ds was born.

Such a nice feeling, having happy hormones raging atm, instead of the demonic ones

EllieKwithabigbump · 05/02/2007 20:28

yes thank you wo
i went up on saturday, he had his son and a friend for the weekend, waas his son's 14th birthday.
we sat up watching tv, watched 51st state on video, i tried very hard to stay awake! he kept his distance tho, and yes, i went to bed in the spare room, was incredibly frustrating tho, spent all evening wanting to hug him or kiss him and couldn't, reassured me that i do love him, it's not just for convenience.

then had a lovely day sunday, we took the lads to the park so his boy could go on the skate park, they had good fun while we went for a walk round. went back to his and he cooked a roast, then we took the lads home, an hour each way.

got back to his and talked properly, he explained (with tears in his eyes) that he feels he can't compete with A (matthew's dad), as every conversation we have i end up mentioning A, tried to explain that this is just because he has been such a big part of my life for so long. talked lots and lots, he still needs to think things through but no, i didn't stay in the spare room last night 3 times in 4 hours

weyhey!!!

CaptainDippy · 05/02/2007 20:31

Hey guys!

Has been a hectic day, so 1st chance I've had to post. DD's got up horribly early AGAIN this morning, so absolutely knakcered now. Went to bed with no fuss though, which is a turn up for the books. Hoping they'll do similar tomorrow night as DH and I are going out.

How is everyone doing??

@ crappy horrid flu BirdieBump - Any progress on dr appt? Hope you feel better soon, hon. [hugs]

Glad you feel a bit better Tili - You know where we all are hon. [hugs]

  • Great stuff about you and Stephen EllieK - Take it easy, laydeeee!

Right, off to do a few jobs and then BED!!

EllieKwithabigbump · 05/02/2007 20:32

on the Antenatal class topic, I went with my best mate last time, I hate things like that too schoobie but went along with the intention of not retuurning if it was dreadful! as it happened it was a good laugh but i think it really does depend on how you 'click' with the others on the course.
I wouldn't have wanted to go on my own tho, was 5 other 'proper' couples and that was bad enough, they all thought me and my mate were lesbians
Really is worth giving it a go, no one will force you to go back!

won't be seeing him again til the weekend and matthew will be here (that's just impossible, i fall asleep too early in the evening and matthew wakes up too early in the mroning ) so figured i should make the most of it

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 05/02/2007 21:16

EllieK, you go girl. 3 times in 4 hours! It's 3 times in 4 years here!! JOKING, but my God, made my eyes water!

Mammyjo, glad you are feeling better.

Hi Yvie, Maveta, CD and Runny. Hope you are well and everyone else.

Runny, I am getting quite excited now too, and even though we haven't had to buy anything big either, I can't help but buy lttle outfits even though we have got tons of girls clothes from Becky!

Birdie, could it be bird flu??? Sorry, crap joke.

Nothing to report here. Going to have a hot chocolate in a minute and then off to bed. Bloody knackered. Baby is dancing the fandango tonight again, so not sure how much sleep I will get. Hey ho

Love to everyone.

EllieKwithabigbump · 05/02/2007 21:19
