Hello. May I join? LMP makes me due 15th April.

This will be DC2; DD is just 4. I was on the Nov 16 thread, but that didn't go so well. Happy to be here again!

Helbelle75 · 13/08/2016 20:04

Thanks MrsTGG, i think I'll be booking in a private scan at 8 weeks.
We're due the same date Spindelina. I was in the December thread but things didn't go well for us either, so massive fingers crossed for both of us xxx

Bakersdelight · 13/08/2016 20:04

Hey spindelina, my LMP puts me at 15 April too Smile. I have DS 3 yr 3 mo but had several losses before we struck lucky with him.

everdene · 13/08/2016 20:11

I told my family today that I'm expecting, it was so lovely!

finova · 13/08/2016 20:26

I told my Mum and Dad too. Really nice to chat to my Mum.
Not telling anyone else for a while now.

choccybiscuit · 13/08/2016 20:44

I've told my sisters and nobody else. I'm dreading telling my mum, you wouldn't think I'm 38 and old enough to have a baby lol

lotsoffreckles · 13/08/2016 21:04

Jones1980 I had a scan last Wednesday at 6.5 weeks, it was an internal but I got to see and hear pips heartbeat which was amazing. I'm an IVFer though so the scan was part of my treatment but you can certainly see something that early x

Jones1980 · 13/08/2016 21:19

Oh thanks lots of freckles I'll book in for 8 weeks

jpeg28 · 13/08/2016 21:29

I'm scared to tell my mum too choccy! When I told her last time she was so shocked, that one didn't work out so in hoping she will be less shocked this time! I've only told one friend who I'm away with this week. She is a massive drinker so I had to tell her! I'm thinking of doing an early scan too, if I can find one that's reasonably priced.
Today I've had sore boobs and stomach ache... Not sure that's related, possibly from eating so much!!

lotsoffreckles · 13/08/2016 21:53

I'm going for another at 9 weeks, been a long old wait in our camp so going to take a peek as many times as I can Grin

choccybiscuit · 13/08/2016 22:21

My mum equates another grandchild as another person to worry about. I know she can't help it, but it will put a dampener on it. I determined to be very happy about it when I do eventually tell her. Might wait as long as possible though Grin
Hope all you April ladiez are doing well Smile

BusyNothings · 13/08/2016 22:45

Anybody else struggling with just sheer exhaustion but unable to sleep? I've been struggling all day and come to bed two hours ago literally unable to keep my eyes open and yet still can't sleep!

If it wasn't a really stupid thing to do id be getting dh to bonk me on the head!

lotsoffreckles · 13/08/2016 22:59

I'm still wide awake busy and DH is on his way home from a boys day out, can't imagine I'll be getting much sleep tonight Angry

Helbelle75 · 13/08/2016 23:06

I'm exactly the same BusyNothings. Really struggle sleeping and staying adleeo at night, but shattered during the day.

Esker · 13/08/2016 23:34

Hope everyone has a good rest tonight!

After this evening's dining experience, I have a recommended food to AVOID: Egg curry. Yes it is as bad as it sounds Confused

Bubbinsmakesthree · 13/08/2016 23:55

I tried self-hypnosis tapes last time when I had pregnancy insomnia - definitely helped!

jpeg28 · 14/08/2016 00:47

busy I'm this same... I'm exhausted yet wide awake and cannot sleep at all!

Jones1980 · 14/08/2016 07:20

Not much sleep again busy this is doing my head in I could literally cry my eyes up at moment feeling so tierd and struggling to sleep see I'm up again same as yesterday don't know what is going on but this is crazy I work all week have to be up at 4.30 to get to work for 6 all I wanted was some sleep it's driving me crazy

drinkyourmilk · 14/08/2016 07:47

Flowers for all you ladies who can't sleep. I got about 6 hours last night, so can't complain.

drinkyourmilk · 14/08/2016 07:50

Is anyone else irritable? I mean unreasonably so. My dh can not do enough for me. He's being amazing - yet at least once a day I'm snappy or irritable or argumentative, and that's not me. I can't control it.

Jones1980 · 14/08/2016 08:11

Yes me my partner asked me where the girl he feel in love with so upset me I'm trying so hard to control my mood swings at moment I'm thinking it's lack of sleep for me plus hormones not a good combination

Jaffacakes1234 · 14/08/2016 08:26

Probably shouldn't complain and I'll probably regret it, but a bit of nausea would put my mind at rest a bit (then I'd immediately regret saying this) sure I felt nauseous by this point with number 1 and 3. In agreedment in feeling exhausted though, hard to pinpoint that as definitely pregnancy related though!!

Helbelle75 · 14/08/2016 09:14

Yes drinkyourmilk, not all the time, but irrationally irritable at times. It's the hormones. Can you explain to your dh? I got a pregnancy book and dh and i look through it together so he understands what's happening to my body as well.

Cazbg · 14/08/2016 09:18

Trying to catch up with all the messages but struggling as rubbish reception. Went for a scan on Friday - measuring 5weeks, saw sac and yolk but no heartbeat. Back a week Tuesday to see if it is viable... Super nervous! Been here before twice, once with a negative outcome and once with a positive. Hate the uncertainty. No really clear Symptons and with the last pregenancy which ended in a miscarriage had tonnes of symptons... Sorry I don't mean to vent and sound negative but away with friends this weekend who know nothing so feel a bit alone. Confused

BusyNothings · 14/08/2016 09:20

Managed to fall asleep by about half 1 and despite numerous trips to the bathroom (where the hell did that come from?!) I managed 6 hours on and off. Feeling a bit more human today. I hope everyone else manage to get some sleep. My best mate sent me these YouTube videos which are really bizarre but seem to work on me! ASMR don't know if anyone's heard of them but they are totally weird but seem to knock me out apparently!

Oh esker even the name egg curry sounds dodgy! Well done to you for trying!

jones poor guy lol but he shouldn't have said that. If my dh had said that atm I think I'd have been crying for an hour. Mine said that it was too early to be having these symptoms and I need to chill out. That resulted in me upset and sulking going to bed early. Told him to read his bloody pregnancy books the next morning and get a grip!

jaffa I'm with you on the nausea, feels like it should be here but it's not and that's worrying but don't actually want it lol
