Potato is absolutely fine. I have to go back tomorrow if Potato doesn't pick up but she has and the midwife said that although Potato should still be moving as much as before the type of movement will change and be less pokes and kicks and more stretching and rolls which can be harder to identify.

Leonie I also think you should finish early if you're struggling. You won't be helping anyone by wearing yourself out.

Lisa lol at poo announcement. My OH and I give poo announcements on a daily basis... We have a slightly odd relationship Smile

Latest house news is that exchange will happen Monday. Apparently my buyer didn't realise that she needed to send the authority to exchange and deposit ASAP so was just dawdling Angry I just hope one of the removal companies will still be able to do Friday.

IndiX · 29/07/2016 20:53

Potato so glad to hear she is ok, I'm sure you and OH are so relieved. Also good news on the house! Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly from Monday.

Lisa I'm so happy for you and your massive poo! Haha Grin

Beanie's movement has changed slightly too, lots of rolls and stretches and eel-like movement where she can have a bit of a dance around for a minute and then stop. My whole belly is going a bit crazy atm but I think she's just trying to get comfy in there.

LisaTheSimpson · 29/07/2016 21:21

Lols, thanks all! Very appreciative of your support! Wink

Potato - so glad mini Potato is ok. That must have been so worrying. All fingers and toes crossed for exchanging on Monday!

Feefeefs · 29/07/2016 22:24

Glad baby potato is doing fine hope you get a good sleep

LillianFullStop · 29/07/2016 23:03

😱 at your scare potato glad all is well and movement is back to normal.

glad your folks are back safe and sound bunch! now feel free to relax that pelvis and let that bubba run free!

lol at your amazing poo lisa I've also taken to announcing my movements to DH. Me the other night: "Hold this a sec - I have an emergency poo coming on" - emergency poo mostly when the bub decides to do the samba on my bowels (after getting bored of my bladder)

Mileymoocow · 30/07/2016 07:13

Morning all!

potato I'm glad baby potato is doing well. They love to worry us!

pink I'm having about the same amount but movement feels very different! It's more of a squirm than a poke.

lisa I am so happy for you and your large poo! There is definitely nothing better than laying it all out!!

30 weeks today here and feels like a big milestone. Think I possibly managed to recover OHs head from la la land when I made him realise we only have the same amount of time left til baby day as the amount of time we've already done since our 20 week scan. He woke me up at 20 to 6 to ask of I wanted to take the dog for an early walk then decided we wanted to DTD and now he's away back to sleep so he might not even see baby day... Hmm he's obviously never heard the expression 'let a sleeping pregnant, hormonal, hungry beast of a woman lie.'

BunchOfBobs · 30/07/2016 07:22

Morning all,

Potato so glad to hear everything is okay. Fx for Monday.
Congrats on 30 weeks Miley, it definitely felt like a big milestone to me, the next was at 37.

I'm 38 weeks today eek, with a spaghetti squash.

Had a lovely day with parents. I'm so so chuffed they're back and they came back to the best news. Before they went away I made dad put in a claim on his health insurance for critical illness cover (he wasn't aware he had it) well the letter arrived yesterday and they've paid out!! Dad was planning on retiring in 18 months but he can do it now yay!!!
I plan on kidnapping them to Wales once he's had all his Drs/hospital appointments this week. I just know every man and his dog is about to turn up to visit him and he hates it. The same as when he got his cancer diagnosis. It pisses me right off, they don't come to visit just for the sake of it, just when there is bad news etc. So I want to whisk him away from them and have them on hand for Pips arrival.

We don't know when he can drive yet so lots to find out.

Yesterday I had 3 cups of raspberry leaf tea. I have pineapple and other labour inducing foods on my shopping list for today and DH is most definitely on a promise. My hips cannot take this for another potential 4 weeks. I dreamt I was in labour all night which obviously led to very broken sleep. We've booked cinema tickets for Sunday to help invoke the law of sod. Grin

I'm another for announcing poos to DH. I now get called after me "J breathing!!" Which is a type of breathing taught in hypno that is used to get bubba out, only to be practised on the loo. Grin

PotatosMum · 30/07/2016 08:22

Morning ladies, how are you all today?

Potato is fully back to normal today and woke up for a stretch when I had breakfast Smile she's also 36 weeks Shock and the size of a chihuahua!
I forgot to say, I asked the midwife yesterday about going light headed when Potato does big rolls and she told me it was perfectly normal as Potato is probably leaning on a blood vessel or nerve. She also tells me that my blood pressure while normal is on the low side so that won't help and explains the pretty dancing lights I get in front of my eyes quite often Confused

Pink congrats on 30 weeks Grin

Bunch glad you're having a good time with your parents.

Good luck on evicting baby! With any luck I'll be trying the same thing this time next week!

So this weekend is the pack-a-thon. Two days to get our entire lives into boxes. I'm quite looking forward to it although I packed two boxes yesterday and had to have a sit down so OH may find he's doing a lot of the actual work while I supervise... That will make a change Wink

We were going to leave all the random stuff we have at OHs house there for a few weeks rather than pick it up straight away but amusingly OHs dad has been asking when we'll pick it up and when we said "no rush, we'll get the new house sorted and then start picking up the odd car load" his response was, I can bring car loads over. Eager much lol, OH is slightly offended that his dad is desperate to reclaim his bedroom.Confused

Morning all. Potato glad little potato is behaving today!

Miley I found 30 weeks to be a big milestone too, so exciting!

bunch kidnapping your dad sounds like a good idea.

So I had period pain in the middle of the night. Spent a good 10 mins convinced it must be a contraction haha it wasn't

PotatosMum · 30/07/2016 09:38

New as I'm getting closer to 40 weeks I'm finding it more difficult to differentiate between contraction pain, period pain and I need a poop pain Blush my body just seems to want me to be in pain all the time Confused

LisaTheSimpson · 30/07/2016 09:57

Oh Bunch, I'm so glad your parents are back safely and everything is ok. Great news on the insurance, too, that must take such a load off his mind!

Potato - sorry about all the pain Sad Do you find yourself mostly resting and taking it easy these days? Or does that not even help either?

BunchOfBobs · 30/07/2016 10:25

Potato totally with you there. Dreaming of being in labour all night made every twinge this morning even more fun.

Pinklily1 · 30/07/2016 10:55

Wow, 38 weeks Bunch! In a way it seems like time has gone very fast. I've realised that on Monday I will be able to say baby is due "this month". Scary stuff Shock

Great news about the insurance and retirement too Smile Sorry if you've already said this, but will Pip be your parents first grandchild?

Congratulations on 30 weeks Miley! That's definitely a milestone! How are your feet doing?

A word of warning ladies - do not get Boots own brand liquid heartburn medicine in peppermint. It is actually the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. Preferable to heartburn but makes me gag trying to take it.

Just washed and hung a load of baby blankets and muslins on the line and now off for a walk along the seafront with OH.

Hope you all have lovely days.

ElleSarcasmo · 30/07/2016 11:32

Morning all,

So pleased everything is ok with miniPotato! that must have been a worry. Hope your OH is getting on with the packing.

Bunch also pleased to hear your parents are back safe and sound and great news about your dads retirement too. You must be so relieved. 38 weeks-wow!

30 weeks is a milestone Miley, hope your OH redeems himself later.

Walk on the seafront sounds lovely Pink!

I almost bought a Poang on gumtree today, still tempted. It looks like it needs a few extra cushions for the arms though. I was wondering whether to hold out and get one with a footstool though.

PotatosMum · 30/07/2016 12:01

Lisa yep, there's lots of being lazy going on. Mostly because I get warn out so quickly and I walk slower that a snail!

Bunch aww, after all the stress of wanting baby to stay put you must be desperate to get on with it now. I'm sure it won't be long though Flowers

Right, we've been for a coffee and breakfast, now for some serious packing action!

IndiX · 30/07/2016 12:22

Hi ladies,

Miley how exciting for the 30 weeks milestone, mine is on Wednesday, I feel that's when the real countdown begins! Grin

I can't believe you're 38 weeks bunch, that has flown! I can't wait for baby bunch to make an appearance. Great news about your dads insurance btw!

Potato good luck with the big packing day!

I'm feeling very happy with myself as I was about to order the Tullsta chair from ikea for £80 (smallish tub-like chair that would fit better in our nursery) and have just found one on gumtree for £30! So going to pick that up this afternoonSmile also received some wall stickers through the post so going to spend the day marking up where I want them on the nursery wall, I think I'll need more than I ordered though as they are slightly smaller than I though. No problem though, I'll make a start with the ones I have.
DH has just been to my neighbour's (who is arranging my Scottish baby shower tomorrow with another friend) and he's revealed after me nagging him to tell me that it's in one of favourite venues in the city and apparently she has organised a few nice surprises. So that's got me excited for what's to come tomorrow!

Danni89 · 30/07/2016 14:18

I can't believe the finish line is in sight for a lot of us!! Exciting times!

indi that sounds fab, my baby shower is next week sat, really looking forward to it! I look forward to hearing about your Scottish shower

PotatosMum · 30/07/2016 16:09

Indi baby shower sounds really exciting. Hope you have a lovely time Grin

So packing isn't going as well as hoped because I'm next to useless so OH is having to do a lot of the work himself. Still I think we'll be done by the end of the day, I'm just glad I'd already packed most of the flat in early pregnancy.

30+2 and crazy crying hormones are back in force then! Got overtired decorating so got stroppy with dh and ended up sobbing on the bathroom floor while a very confused dog tried to comfort me.

Living the dream!

IndiX · 30/07/2016 20:13

Oh irregular I nearly started crying in m&s yesterday because I didn't know what I wanted for dinner, I was there for half an hour deciding between pizza or a Dine in for £10 meal. I am totally with you for the irrational hormonal breakdowns!

leoniethelioness · 30/07/2016 20:31

Latest baby purchase: a high chair! DH & I were eating dinner last night and wondering what we would do with the baby if he was awake. We've decided to buy a Polly Magic high chair - it's expensive (£110) but suitable from birth. DH thinks it'll stop me worrying about putting the baby down with our cats about. I was eyeing up a Stokke Tripp Trapp but they are even more eye-wateringly expensive!

We picked up our Snuzpod in the week. It's looking like DH won't be made redundant after all (yay!) and we managed to pick the Snuzpod up for £95 so it felt like less of an extravagant splurge. (Mamas & Papas gave us a £50 voucher for recalling our pram, and we had another £15 loyalty voucher for buying something there last month, plus there was about £20 off and an extra 10% off on top of that when we bought it!) I think shelb has one of these too. Does anyone else? Trying to decide what bedding to buy to go with it. Am I limited to just the Snuzpod ones on Little Green Sheep? We're eyeing up the cloud print.

31+3 weeks today! Grin If I can bring my mat leave forward by a week, that's only 21 days left in work! Shock Shock Shock

60 days until due date and we get to meet our baby boy! Eeeeeeeek.

Eeek leonie for exciting! Love the high chair.

Exciting indi!!

Good luck with the packing potato! We went to see some houses today! Was exciting! Saw one quite good one! More viewings on Monday but I would be keen to put an offer in on today's one! Fingers crossed!

LisaTheSimpson · 30/07/2016 21:28

Leonie - so happy for your DH! Such good news about his job!

I hadn't even thought about a high chair, as I figured you couldn't until they were older. Definitely going to look into that now.

LisaTheSimpson · 30/07/2016 21:29

Hope the house hunting goes well, Feefs!

PotatosMum · 30/07/2016 22:06

Aww, Irregular perfectly normal to get emotional when you over do it.

Indi I'm glad I'm not the only one who has burst into tears ins supermarket just because I don't know what I want to eat.

Leonie ooo... Exciting purchases and yay to 60 days until due date Grin

Feef exciting house shopping!! Fingers crossed you find somewhere that you love and it's all smooth sailing Smile

Didn't quite finish the packing but OH and I are exhausted and had to call it a day. Been having practice contractions/need to poop pain all day so have been very quietly informing Potato that she has to wait a week... TMI but I'm pretty sure it's because I've started taking iron supplements and my poop is rock hard. Confused
