That made me laugh sunnydays!

Stabby fanny is definitely a thing!

Bigfam · 11/07/2016 20:40

They're horrible aren't they? In the past I've been known to yelp out at the pain, when I explain it to dp he gives me the Hmm look! If ever there was a pregnancy symptom I could kindly share with him, that would definitely be it! Grin

I wasn't eating my tea at the time, so no complaining here. Grin although as you're a mw could you explain the cause of fanny bum daggers?! Glad you're OK though

Bigfam · 11/07/2016 20:42

That last paragraph was meant for you sunnydays, forgot to add your name.

goinggrey1978 · 11/07/2016 20:54

OrianaBanana · 11/07/2016 21:02

I don't have daggers but I definitely get a very achy undercarriage if I am on my feet too long. Used to get it during my period too Confused

Londonmamabychance · 11/07/2016 21:36

At the risk of really annoying everyone who's not into yoga or feel too tired/overwhelmed/busy to do any exercise, I just want to tell everyone who's experiencing scatia and other kinds of pains (apart from ligament pain, those there cant be done much about I'm afraid) that doing just a few yoga exercises regularly really has helped me and made my pain almost go away. Particularly the cow/car pose (on all fours and alternately curling your back up like a cat and then pushing your tailbone back and bum out like a...cow) is really easy and not exhausting at all to do. If you don't have any pregnancy yoga near you, or (like me) no time to attend any classes, there's a gazillion free pregnancy yoga videoes on YouTube and other resources, can really recommend!

Bigfam · 11/07/2016 21:40

goinggrey1978 you're a Star
Perfect prep machine here I come (well, tomorrow!)
I bought the biggest bottle of gaviscon I could earlier, preparing for the heartburn! I panicked and couldn't remember where I'd put in in case I needed it, my lovely dd1 informed me she'd safely stashed it in the fridge Grin thinking it was 'a special mummy drink like wine that needs to be cold' haha

Londonmamabychance · 11/07/2016 21:40

Oh, Kitkat, just realise I never managed to add myself to the list, due date is Dec 12th and team yellow : ) please add me next time you do an update : )

DartmoorDoughnut · 11/07/2016 21:46

I am having a diet and exercise overhaul tomorrow. Combination of still bfing the toddler and being a lazy cow are taking a toll, I'll be rolled into the hospital at this rate Blush London can you recommend any yoga videos to google? I need to start gently!

goinggrey1978 · 11/07/2016 22:12

No problem bigfam, I've always been a bargain hunter, just had to switch from household goods to baby equipment!!
Plus why pay full price for anything if you can get it half price!!
Me and my parents are going to test drive the buggies as soon as school is over, as they need to be able to operate all of bubbles equipment too!! Excited!!

mistletoe1 · 11/07/2016 22:38

Thanks puppyghedog. Are you holding a child in your profile picture?

TipBoov · 11/07/2016 22:54

Perfect prep is also £63.99 from Amazon, so may be easier to order from there.

I used premade formula until DS was around 9months because making up bottles of powder was a faff, so I'd have loved the perfect prep!

Bigfam · 11/07/2016 23:04

Thanks also tipboov. I've never used one before but they sound really handy. I won't make the mistake of stock piling formula again though, I did with dd3 then she ended up needing anti-reflux...

Oxlady · 11/07/2016 23:34

Hi ladies! Hope I can join? I am 16+1, due date is Christmas Day!!! This is my second baby. Currently team yellow but hoping to find out the sex at our next scan!

Oxlady · 11/07/2016 23:43

KitKat, were you in the September 2014 group?

Lovewatchingrainfall · 12/07/2016 06:58

Wow that list is 154 names long not including twins! ShockSmile

Bigfam · 12/07/2016 07:56

Welcome oxlady Smile

There was no where this many babies on the January 2015 board! Shock

BristolLFR · 12/07/2016 07:59

Thanks london, have been doing the odd cat/cow and they do seem to help. And the bum stretch one whoever recommended that, that ones a favourite from my running days Confused

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/07/2016 08:18

Well it was obvs a boring time of year bigfam Grin

Amazon Prime Day today, some deals on baby bouncers/prams etc etc might be worth a look

Londonmamabychance · 12/07/2016 10:04

Dartmoor can recommend Tammy's yoga videos:

www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGwehbCXP1oGyMFK-lp40nyyLLcAGJC85

The one called 'energising flow' is quite gentle and not too long. And the one called embrace change shows you general alterations you can do to normal yoga practice if you're pregnant.

The one called 'vinyasa flow' is seriously hard core, foolishly did that one when I was just 12 weeks and hadn't done a thing exercise-wise all first trimester! couldn't walk up the stairs the next day. But for anyone wanting a pregnancy friendly and efficient work out, recommended!

Londonmamabychance · 12/07/2016 10:06

btw, anyone who's already got a toddler who's thinking about whether to opt for a double buggy (and if so, which one?) or to get by with a sling and your existing buggy?

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/07/2016 10:16

I'm hoping the chicco next 2 me cot will come up in the prime sale. Not seen it yet though.

SouthDownsSunshine · 12/07/2016 10:18

London we were going to go with sling and buggy, or carrycot and dd walking. We just need to find out if yesterday's news affects that though

Londonmamabychance · 12/07/2016 10:53

south oh, what news did you have yesterday? How old id your toddler? y DD will be just over 2 when the little new one arrives, she walks very well, but still not sure I can rely on her walking longer distances, especially not in one direction; ) but if I could only find a sling that works for me, that would solve the problem. Except, with DD, I did not feel comfortable putting her in the sling before she could hold her head, and all in all just didn't get on with the sling I had (Ergobaby bundle of joy) but determined to try and find one that may work for me this time around!

What I didn't like about the Ergo was the top but was difficult to close by yourself (the buckle behind the neck) and I found it sat too low on my hips and restricted my movements. But everyone recommended it to me, but in the end, I think I used it about three times!
