Thank you for all your beautiful stories. So glad some of us are starting to feel better.

I was a bit gag-y in the kitchen this morning and have had a headache for about 14 hours now but still trying to see the positives :)

goinggrey1978 · 03/07/2016 13:49

Tinysalmon you can take paracetamol it is safe, also maybe hayfever, as my hayfever gives me a headache too, I've finally been allowed to take antihistamines again this week and pop in boots to get some sea bands they really do work and have taken my constant nausea away, even bubbles car sickness has gone away too!! I wish you better soon!! And yes keep positive thinking it's helped me to get through!!

Nojo82 · 03/07/2016 15:53

I'm 15 weeks and suffering badly with tiredness. Was only up for 2 hours this morning before falling asleep. 4th babu and I was never like this before..

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 17:43

DS refused his nap today, I don't think I've ever felt so tired! Luckily DH took him to the park and I had a catnap for about 10mins but I'm counting down til bedtime!

StubbleTurnips · 03/07/2016 17:49

Anyone else crying at random crap? Toy Story 3 has just killed me!

Thisisbonkers · 03/07/2016 18:45

Toy Story 3 killed me before falling pregnant!

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 19:54

I have massive preggo crying ridiculousness and rage, DH spends his time laughing at my lunacy!

excitedmummytob · 03/07/2016 20:06

Hey ladies! Any recommendations for travel systems? First time mum here X

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 20:26

If you read from page 4 onwards for a couple of pages we talked for a bit about them I think Flowers

Grapefruit8 · 03/07/2016 20:36

Dartmoor hahaha sounds like the story of my life!

LittleBear01 · 03/07/2016 20:37

Has anyone else bought much yet? We've ordered our travel system, car seat and base, and have bought quite a few babygrows Smile

cnchapmanxx · 03/07/2016 21:37

littlebear we've bought Moses basket, changing mat, tommee tippee newborn Starter set, the tommee tippee bin thing and dare I say it but the cot. We couldn't not buy it it was half price! Gonna buy the rest of the nursery after our 20wk scan on 1st August!
Anyone else bought anything? xxxx

StubbleTurnips · 03/07/2016 21:38

Dartmoor the rage here is interesting, last week I genuinely had an episode over quiche (it had too much ham in it). Proper Angry if I think about it. DH just laughs.

We only need a cosleeper as we have most things already, and I'll get that in the Black Friday sales I reckon. I have bought some baby grows in the joules & frugi sale though, couldn't resist.

LittleBear01 · 03/07/2016 21:47

I need to look at Frugi, I hadn't heard of it until someone mentioned it on a FB group, but apparently the clothes are really cute?

Wow, Chapman, you're really organised! I'm not sure what to do about bottle-feeding stuff, I've got my heart set on breast-feeding but think it would be naive not to be prepared for bottle-feeding too. People who are already mums: what are the bare essentials for bottle-feeding?

Has anyone got any thoughts on which co-sleeper is best? I like the look of the snuzpod.

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 21:50

Glad I'm not the only one loosing my shit at inanimate objects Grin luckily I keep my sense of humour for people/animals but tv remotes, saucepans and eggs have really annoyed me today!

DartmoorDoughnut · 03/07/2016 21:53

Not bought anything yet bar a ridiculously cute vest and hat from PoP, need some furniture, chest of drawers and wardrobe, as want to get this one the same stuff DS has to avoid future conflicts but no rush, probably won't buy it til it's in a sale - DS was pfb and I was working so he has nice stuff!

Thisisbonkers · 03/07/2016 22:02

Not bought a thing. 20 week scan in a week and a half, so maybe after that. We've been knitted and bought a blanket and comforter thing (no idea what it's for) and I'm grabbing any free stuff (wipes at the mothercare event!) but other than that, unprepared.

cnchapmanxx · 03/07/2016 22:16

littlebear haha I always seem to buy things over payday! I'm a hazard to my bank account!
Oh yes I'm defo going to try breastfeeding but yeah bought them just incase haha! Xxx

TinySalmon · 03/07/2016 22:19

Not bought anything! We won't buy anything till I'm 30 weeks or so. Planning to go to John Lewis (it's called Peter Jones near us... Don't know why?!) and buy everything over one weekend in the one store.

I'd feel weird having clothes and nursery furniture being unused till December but I do feel like I'm missing out on some absolute bargains in the summer sales.

TipBoov · 03/07/2016 22:29

Wow very organised!! I've just bought a couple of sleepsuits and bibs, a pair of booties and a Santa rattle in the mothercare sale as baby's first Christmas present!

bumbleclat · 04/07/2016 05:07

Is anyone else still a nauseous insomniac?!
I'm 15+5 and things have got better to the point where I had quite a normal weekend and didn't take an anti nausea pill before bed.
But I've been wide awake now since 4am feeling queasy.
Please tell me this will end at some point!!

Bigfam · 04/07/2016 07:56

I've been sick twice this morning bumbleclat & generally feel like shit, if that helps! Grin

We've bought a new pram, decided to sell the oyster Max (double pram)
I'm thinking of buying a sleepyhead and using it in a cot, or if she's anything like my others, in the bed as a (safer) co-sleeper option.

Thisisbonkers · 04/07/2016 09:42

After saying we have nothing, we might end up with a pram soon. Mamas and Papas have a sale on so the cheaper one we saw there might trump the mothercare one we'd decided on. Going to have another look tonight! It has a cup holder so I'm won over Grin

firawla · 04/07/2016 11:33

I might shop a bit more after finding out the sex on Friday (hopefully!) I do feel like I'm missing out on all the sales

littlebear if you want to get some bottle things in just in case I wouldn't buy too much, just one pack of bottles as emergency - you can always get more from 24 hour Tesco if really needed! Maybe the tommee tippee closer to nature type? And possibly an expressing pump? I don't think I will get any - if I need it I'll rush out and get! I did get some in with ds1 and ds2 but with ds3 I think not having anything in just helped me to just get on with the bf and it ended up going better

Waiting at Hosp for my gtt apt now. Anyone else doing gtt this week

Nojo82 · 04/07/2016 13:46

Yea I'm waiting to find out the sex before buying. Got another 5 weeks to wait. Getting impatient..
