Nickname yep I'm with you on the boobs mine are huge! Luckily the tenderness has mostly subsided but I'm getting by using an Emma Jane sleep bra they are the comfiest things ever to sleep in or even just lazing around the house. I've also found the non underwired T shirt bras in asda really comfy the range of sizes available aren't that great but if u find your size maybe give them a try...they are the best ones I've found so far and only £6! Asda also do a soft and comfy crop top type bra which is really good not very supportive but again good if you're having a round the house type day or in the evening after work they also have nice thin straps...I've really struggled finding bras with thin straps they all seem to have really thick ugly straps!!
I'm 14 weeks today...officially entering the 2nd trimester.

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 07:36

I went up a cup side a few weeks ago

However I now need a bigger bra again, cup and back size

For the first time in my life I'm taking my bra off when I get in at night, I would usually sleep in a bra!,

Figgygal · 19/04/2016 07:45

My tiny boobs remain tiny Sad

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 07:46

I'd happily send you some of mine figgy

I'm only usually a 30 back size I don't know how much boob weight my body can take!

JulietteL · 19/04/2016 10:00

nickname my boobs are so massive they practically need their own postcode. My clothes are getting tight at the top much faster than round my belly!

I really don't know what to do as I was a 36/38GG even before I got pregnant. I'm too scared to get measured again as I worry about being off the scale. And bras of this size are so expensive and difficult to get hold of, I want to cope with my current (v tight) bras as long as possible! Agh!

ditsygal · 19/04/2016 12:35

JulietteL if you can get to a bravissimo, they aren't cheap but they will have bras that fit you.
My boob have already gone up 2 cup sizes and 1 back size and I think I am almost needing to go up another cup size but I've only just bought 2 new bras so really can't move into a new one yet!
I am piling on the weight in this pregnancy and I'm not really sure why. almost 1 and a half stone so far. its crazy.
I've got my 16 week midwife appointment this afternoon. Then a private gender scan this weekend - eek!

TheCake · 19/04/2016 12:57

I've got my midwife appointment this afternoon too! Still normalish size boobs for me, my bras now fit me instead of being slightly too big (obviously I was kidding myself that I was a 32c before pregnancy!)

JulietteL · 19/04/2016 13:05

Thanks ditsy - bravissimo is where I usually go, but I can see myself spending £100 on a 3 new bras which then don't fit me after a month or so, so I am trying to make do as long as possible.

pod100 · 19/04/2016 13:11

How often do you need to replace bras during pregnancy? I need to go clothes shopping and it'd be good to know how much wear I might get out of them

Figgygal · 19/04/2016 13:16

Im a 36A I went looking for maternity bras last weekend they all started at B, so still in my underwired padded bras I need to sort that out.

At 16 weeks I have only put on 5lbs so far so but I definitely have a belly giong on and have the munchies now I eat because if I don't I feel sick but then I eat so much I feel sick anyway. Desperate for jelly sweets or salt and vinegar rice cakes. I did eat an apple this morning to be healthy...........it was SO boring!!

Also have midwife today 16 week appt 16 weeks today. I have been looking at maternity clothes earlier Asos and New Look seem good but hate buying things without trying them on, also been trawling ebay for 2nd hand items as begrudge full price for things I will wear for such a short period of time.

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 13:20

Depends on the pregnancy pod!,

Previously I've gone up one size each pregnancy, this time is some what different

MeDownSouth · 19/04/2016 13:52

really not feeling well today, being sick and have a massive headache.
went out for pub quiz and tea with friends at the weekend. our friend opposite had bbq ribs and i had to really restrain myself from reaching across the table for them (I'm vegan!). I wanted the bbq sauce so badly (and I don't even like it usually!) I'd have happily licked the ribs clean and returned them! guess I've started cravings!
my bras are also tight, I'm living in my sports bras. got a 2 pack in tesco a while ago but they're comfy enough that I seem to be getting away with it. M&S do 2 maternity bras for £30, which didn't seem to bad to me, just trying to hold off buying any for as long as possible.

positivity123 · 19/04/2016 14:02

Went for the scan and it was all good. It has grown in 3 weeks and it was clapping! Feel so much happier now.
My boobs are huge and feel really full. I'm actually quite proud of them!

BadlyWrittenPoem · 19/04/2016 17:09

My non pregnant non breastfeeding size is 36B and when not already breastfeeding I go up to 36D in pregnancy. This time I'm breastfeeding so am expecting the nursing bras to be fine all the way as they were last time I got pregnant while breastfeeding. I had a friend who was outed by a colleague as pregnant in the first trimester because her bust size had gone up so much so I think it varies a lot as to how much you increase in size.

fish88 · 19/04/2016 17:53

My boobs remain tiny. I am currently still wearing either nursing vests or crop tops instead of bras. I hate wearing a bra! Last time I went up to a C cup when my milk came in but even though I'm still breastfeeding they've deflated back to just nipples and not much else.

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 18:55

I don't even breastfeed, so mine are just a waste.

Well I've felt much more human today as I leave the first trimester! Even after a bad nights sleep! Here's hoping I get some glow going on soon!

BigPigLittlePig · 19/04/2016 19:10

30A pre pg went up to 30E when bf last time. Then deflated. Now filling bras but not bothering to replace at the mo.

Weihed myself a week ago and hadn't changed, but given that last time I lost 1 stone by now with morning sickness, am thinking this is a total success.

Figgygal · 19/04/2016 20:10

16 week appt underwhelming took BP and bloods she didn't even weigh me (not that I wanted her tooGrin). I'm rhesus negative and so they going to test blood and check whether baby is positive or negative and whether I'll need the anti-d injections again. I took a urine sample to GP last week as thought I might have a UTI but they said no well today my sample said that I do have one and had to take it back to GP to be retested. As I had a UTI at my 8 week appt midwife has said if I have another I'll need to see a consultant at the hospital and likely be put on antibiotics for rest of pregnancy Confused

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 20:12

Not listen to the heartbeat figgy?

Figgygal · 19/04/2016 20:18

Nope fresh and my next appointment with them not until 28 weeks. Looking forward to my gender scan now.

Afreshstartplease · 19/04/2016 20:20

That's crap

Realized I'm 15+6 when I have my 16 week appointment so bet they won't listen for heartbeat either luckily I have gender scan booked the same week

BadlyWrittenPoem · 19/04/2016 20:23

Figgy I supposedly had three UTIs in one pregnancy (the third was actually a continuation of the second that hadn't completely gone away) and I was just given a finger prick blood sugar test and then offered a GTT because my blood sugar was supposedly high. (It was high on the basis that I hadn't eaten in the last two hours but I'd eaten a sugary snack just before setting off for my appointment and the result was normal for having recently eaten.) It seems rather OTT to give prophylactic antibiotics throughout for just two UTIs.

TheCake · 19/04/2016 22:15

Figgygirl same here. no heartbeat and no weight. Just checked my urine and told me things I already know - I'd had a letter to say I was rhesus negative so would need anti-D. It was nice to have the afternoon off though so I can't really complain!

Tomkat79 · 19/04/2016 22:20

Is anyone here going for a vbac? Confused

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 20/04/2016 06:56

I've already had a vbac and a hbac Tomkat so unless any big problems come up I will be having another vbac.
Have got a consultant app just after my 20 wk scan so I can discuss problems from last time. Also have been told I have to see a mw at the hospital to discuss my birth plans which I've never done before apparently it's a new thing.

My elcs was nearly 7 years ago now for a breech presentation and ogliohydramnos (low fluid).
